Our
flight
was
cancelled
and
we
were
stuck
in
TPA
overnight.
Lucky
for
us,
we
were
able
to
get
a
room
at
this
hotel.
Our
stay
was
comfortable,
and
the
hotel
is
clean.
The
views
of
the
airport
were
cool.
If
you
are
an
aviation
enthusiast,
it's
great.
Also,
it
was
unexpectedly
quiet.
I
thought
that
with
jets
taking
off
and
landing
all
the
time
it
would
get
loud,
but
the
soundproofing
was
very
good.
You
could
hear
the
planes
at
times
but
it
was
at
a
low
volume
and
not
disturbing.
Concierge
lounge
was
pleasant,
if
small,
and
the
staff
were
excellent
and
attentive.
Breakfast
was
very
good.
Nothing
fancy,
but
good.
The
most
important
advantage
is
the
convenience.
You
just
can't
beat
the
convenience
of
being
literally
inside
the
airport
terminal
(there's
a
very
short
walk
through
a
tunnel
from
the
hotel
front
desk
to
the
main
terminal).
No
dealing
with
taking
a
taxi
to
the
airport.
No
having
to
drop
off
a
rental
car
and
take
a
shuttle
two
stops
to
get
to
the
terminal.
No
getting
to
the
airport
super
early
only
to
wait
and
wait.
You
can
check
your
bags,
come
back
to
your
room
to
relax,
and
then
head
over
to
security/gate
shortly
before
boarding
time,
all
without
leaving
the
airport.
If
you
are
staying
for
just
one
night
for
a
layover
or
due
to
a
cancellation,
you
cannot
beat
this
convenience.
However,
I
wouldn't
pick
this
hotel
for
longer
stays
in
Tampa
because
being
inside
the
airport,
it's
also
isolated
from
the
city.
Finally,
my
one
criticism
is
that
this
hotel
is
very
dated
and
the
furniture
is
in
definite
need
of
a
refresh.
Not
a
big
deal.
Would
not
affect
my
decision
to
stay
there
for
a
one
night
stay.
