The room had one of the best hot showers I've ever had in a hotel. The room I was given there was something wrong with the television screen. I was too tired to go back downstairs to get a new room. That's definitely something they need to work on. Something that I really liked about this hotel is that they offer a microwave right next to the ice machine on each floor. This is something that I appreciate because if you're not gonna give us a microwave in the room. Your hotel can at least have it on each floor. I can not stand it when the only microwave is downstairs. In the lobby, that's an absolute waste of time. One other thing if you are a light sleeper, this may not be the hotel for you. I noticed that the rooms are not soundproof and because it's right next to the airport, you definitely hear the planes. It's not extremely loud but it's loud enough.

Stayed night of May 12. Upon waking up morning of 13, we discovered bed bugs in at least 1 bed. Killed bug and flushed. Took picture. When checking out at front desk I informed clerk of incident Asked to be contacted by general manager. Was informed general manager would email me. As of this writing on 31, have not received any correspondence from hotel from anyone. I called hotel on 26 and once again told them of my concern. Was informed by manager on duty that I would hear from the manager that handles this kind of problem. Waited for holiday weekend to pass and had heard nothing. I called again on 30. Was informed by same MOD that I should hear something soon. Well, fact of the matter is it has been nearly 3 weeks, and it seems the management at this property is not concerned with bed bugs or customer service. As a Bonvoy member, I am beyond disappointed and frankly disgusted to the point of not giving this company my $ again. There are plenty of hotels who would like my business. Location great, sanitation, and customer service was worst I have endured in my 54 hears on this planet.

I love that the airport is literally in the middle of the airport. We walked to our gate in less than 10 mins, including security. Nice sunset last night over the pool and tarmac right off the bar. Had a great margarita 🍹 that I took up to the room. Good shower but tiny bathroom. Quiet, relaxing, and convenient. Would stay here again.

Our flight was cancelled and we were stuck in TPA overnight. Lucky for us, we were able to get a room at this hotel. Our stay was comfortable, and the hotel is clean. The views of the airport were cool. If you are an aviation enthusiast, it's great. Also, it was unexpectedly quiet. I thought that with jets taking off and landing all the time it would get loud, but the soundproofing was very good. You could hear the planes at times but it was at a low volume and not disturbing. Concierge lounge was pleasant, if small, and the staff were excellent and attentive. Breakfast was very good. Nothing fancy, but good. The most important advantage is the convenience. You just can't beat the convenience of being literally inside the airport terminal (there's a very short walk through a tunnel from the hotel front desk to the main terminal). No dealing with taking a taxi to the airport. No having to drop off a rental car and take a shuttle two stops to get to the terminal. No getting to the airport super early only to wait and wait. You can check your bags, come back to your room to relax, and then head over to security/gate shortly before boarding time, all without leaving the airport. If you are staying for just one night for a layover or due to a cancellation, you cannot beat this convenience. However, I wouldn't pick this hotel for longer stays in Tampa because being inside the airport, it's also isolated from the city. Finally, my one criticism is that this hotel is very dated and the furniture is in definite need of a refresh. Not a big deal. Would not affect my decision to stay there for a one night stay.

It's a nice clean Marriot in the airport making it super convenient depending on your travel plans. I usually stay for work but have also stayed here when visiting family in St Petersburg. The rooms are perfectly silent despite having a view of the runway. Super nice for flights obviously but also convenient for eating and random travel purchases as the concourse has lots of options.

Without a doubt, this is my favorite airport Hotel. I have stayed here several times and have always experienced excellent service. The restaurant on site was delicious, the beds aren't bad at all, and the pillows... Oh my goodness the pillows... are so comfortable. The rooms are comfortable with plenty of space to spread out. There is a great vibe at the bar in the lobby and the outdoor seating / pool area is a fantastic place to wind down. On top of all of that to love, you will have a wonderful view from your room. I love watching the planes take off from my room. I highly recommend this hotel for a pre flight stay, especially when you have an early flight. The convenience cannot be beat.

Excellent access to Tampa International Airport. You can walk right out of the lobby directly into the terminal. We love the convenience of the location. This Marriott lives up to the brand, and then some. Highly recommend Tampa Airport Marriott.

The first thing I noticed was the ease of getting into the hotel from their parking area. This is the first time my husband and I have stayed here and are very impressed. Both with the personnel and with the rooms themselves. It seemed like everyone wants us to enjoy our stay here. The room we are in is immaculate and the bed was so comfortable.

Right at the airport, so they have location solidified. Clean, comfy beds, great food, cool bar. Can park for decent rates while traveling, if you stay there. Friendly staff. Easy walk to terminal lobby for shops and restaurants. Overall, THEE hotel to stay in if you're flying from Tampa and need a hotel.

It’s nice to stay here when you have a very early flight. They have bellmen who can help with bags as well as a bar and restaurant. If you like to walk, like I do, you can walk all around the airport and explore. The rooms are not large but they are clean and everything works including the smart TV. My rating is especially for the staff. Asian at the front desk is helpful, friendly and professional. Ryan and Jose are excellent bellmen. Helpful and always on point!

So convenient! We got off a really late flight and hadn’t booked anything yet. It was after midnight and none of the online systems would work to book a hotel so we walked in and they matched Priceline’s price for me. Room was clean and staff was so friendly. Would stay again. (This location will also rent you a few hours in the middle of the day as well if you have a long layover.)

For those Ubering out of hotel - the rideshare companies CANNOT find this place easily - at all. Save yourself grief and go to baggage claim to catch your ride. The walk is really nothing.

Only stress free way to fly early is to stay at the hotel in the airport. No traffic or rental car worries. Wake up and fly away!

Room was clean and nice. Toilet and shower were both kind of broken but usable. Service was very friendly. Flight got cancelled and had to stay with no notice and the price was fair and they had a room. It's attached to the airport which is really great if you need to be stuck there for a night. Had some food in the lounge and it was really good. Only issue with that was it seemed a bit pricey. Service at the lounge was on top of everything and very friendly as well. The view was also pretty neat. Jet noise was almost nonexistent which is great considering it's on the airport.

Great hotel! Dominique at the front desk is very upbeat and goes above and beyond. She really made the stay for us and we'll definitely be back. The rooms are dated as many have mentioned but not horribly so and I'm pretty particular. Most importantly, the hotel is fairly clean, which is a must for me. Where this hotel shines is its great service and location. Like others have said, you can't do any better than this if you're looking to be close to the airport or you have a flightto catch. It's a 5 min walk to the terminal, and it's conveniently connected to the airport, so you don't have to walk outside. You have access to PF Changs, Hard Rock Cafe, Qdoba, and Wendy's inside the terminal. Again, 5 min walk. If you get a decent rate, I definitely recommend.

Dominique at the front desk has personality+. She really set the tone for our stay. We travel out of Tampa several times a month and we will definitely be back. We totally agree with all the reviews about the convenient location. It’s amazing.

When visiting relatives, had an early morning flight. Rather than having anyone get up in the middle of the night to take us to the airport, went the evening before and stayed here. Rooms were great, comfy beds. Had dinner at the restaurant, which was really good. Although, there are less expensive options are a short hallway away, if desired. Got to sleep a little extra since you're only a short hallway away from the airport. Would definitely use this option again when needed.

Came here for a conference but didn't stay in a room. Conference rooms were clean and spacious. Good wifi. Great food choices nearby. My only complaint is signage needs improvement. When I came in the monitors told me where my meeting was but no idea how to get there. A staff person didn't know either sending me in a wrong direction.

It is a regular hotel with an acceptable level of cleanness and room appliances but a little bit old. It is super convenient as it is literally in the airport and you would save a lot of time. You can enjoy your stay by using the fitness center and the pool. Most importantly it is super quiet although it is right at the airport

Short stop, rooms are just fine and you can’t beat the ease of location. Knocked off a star because of the very unfriendly service of the front desk individual Te’Aria who checked me in. I’m a loyal Marriott person, and she was fairly short/rude and not at all the first impression you want to interact with at the front desk- leaves a lasting impression. That said- the staff at the bar were amazing and no other complaints, so 4/5

My son and his family were moving to another state and they spent the night before their flight here. We went to visit before they left and this Marriott definitely maintained my choice as the only brand of hotels I will stay in. Their room was beautiful!!! The beds are still as comfortable as they always were and I loved the shower!! The service is still impeccable, too!

Please if you are an African American don't go there. One of the managers is very racist. Christin her name is. She told me n...a I run this. Once you see her and her demeanor, she is not fit to be a manager. I am a veteran and it hurt my heart, made me cry, mad, all in one. Don't go there

Titanium member. Rooms are okay- my only gripe is the tiny bathrooms. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a disappointment; very limited menu selection only, no buffet. Concierge’s lounge is only open during the week(?) Makes it kind of a useless “benefit” if you happen to be there over the weekend. You can’t beat the location if you’re traveling since the hotel is located right in the terminal.

Incredible service. I had decided last minute to do a bit of fishing in the area while on business. I brought some fish and the facility manager let me put it in the freezer until my departure. The entire staff greeted me dsily and treated me so well. Extremely friendly. I have always been a vey loyal Hilton Honors. I am changing because of this experience. I stay in hotels 2 weeks out of every month in a lot of locations. Highly recommend this location

Arrived late and picked this as I would fetch the rental car the next morning from the airport and get some sleep beforehand. Easy to find from the main terminal, friendly staff and quick check in. Unfortunately the facility and rooms look rather dated and could use some refreshing. given the price spent it did unfortunately, not meet my expectations towards it. On a further note I was pleasantly surprised how little one heard of the airport activity and truly enjoyed the views of the planes take off and land from my room. that was super cool! I will unfortunately not consider this location again though and rather pick another location via airport shuttle in the future.

A bit dated but super convenient to the airport. Room seems a bit small. Tiny bathroom. Helpful friendly staff. Restaurant and bar open. Concierge only open for breakfast. Not sure why they can do breakfast and not evening appetizers or snacks during the day. Windows are fairly soundproof against plane takeoffs and landings.

I went into the bar and restaurant area and had some food before my flight. Nice spot away from the bustle of the main area in the airport. I had a nice shrimp Caesar, and a Guinness to wash it down. Nice, chill spot to hang out with my brother before I left. Expensive, as most things in the airport are, but it was a nice experience.

Great location inside the terminal. No shuttles necessary. Front desk service was great and he room was terrific as well (upgraded to the Ambassador Hospitality Suite). Concierge lounge is still closed but breakfast in the restaurant was still provided. You could tell they are suffering with getting their staff up to 100% in the restaurant but they were really hustling to try and accommodate everyone. Bonvoy Ambassador.

Rooms are pretty dated and small. The breakfast was not well prepared at all, simply down to the taste. Pancakes, bacon or sausages did not taste good. The location is convenient if a delayed or missed flight. The king bed was not comfortable at all, felt a sink hole in mattress. The view is nice but just overall I guess I expected more of an excellence with the room and food as those are both really important. Disappointed with our first time experience for the cost we paid.

How convenient for an early am flight. Great food and service. Pools was nice. Enjoyed ping pong (only 1 paddle though so made it hard) and corn hole for a bit with my kid. Surprisingly don't hear a ton of air traffic considering we're attached to the airport which is great! Check in was a breeze and the lady at the front desk was friendly and very kind! They have a park and fly option which makes it super convenient. My only complaints would be that there's a gap between door and floor (had to put towel to cover light/noise coming in) and I keep hearing neighbor flush toilet. Which is annoying but not the end of the world ... unless said neighbor has flushed like 20x and has you wide awake at 2am leaving reviews haha 😄 All in all highly recommend. Marriott service doesn't lack at all here.

Couldn't ask for a better location after a long flight that arrived at midnight. We picked up our luggage and 1 floor up, there we were at check in. Friendly cheerful people to greet up. Comfortable room with nice furniture.

It's so convenient to stay here before an early morning flight. The rooms are quite nice. It's obviously an older property, but has been well maintained. The vote of the airport talk and operations through soundproof windows is a treat. The only disappointment was the concierge lounge. It offers only water, coffee, and soft drinks with very limited hours. They could do much better.

Fabulous hotel to use coming and going from the Tampa Airport. The Concierge Lounge is not what it used to be, but still serves a good breakfast and offers a place to get away. Unsurpassed convenience - the hotel opens into the main terminal!

Location, Location, Location. Walk from your room to the ticketing and baggage counter. Multiple restaurants and drink establishments within the airport. Service at the desk and lounge is friendly and fast. Room was a low 3, the bed was a high 2 and the HVAC was marginal at best. Because of this, three stars is the best that I could do. Room rates seem to be on the high side compared to other hotels just minutes away. But the convenience is worth the extra 💰.

It was excellent. We flew into Tampa Airport. When we arrived at the baggage carousel, I was instructed to call the concierge at the hotel. They sent a bellman with a wheelchair for my husband and a luggage carrier for our luggage. The bellman got our luggage loaded and somehow pushed my husband's chair and the luggage carrier at the same time. The hotel entrance is actually on the concourse of the airport. We checked in, the bellman took us up to our room, got the luggage situated and it was quick, easy and painless. We went down to the lobby restaurant/ bar for a quick supper and drink. The room was overlooking the runway but you didn't hear any of the planes landing or taking off. It was a pleasant surprise that everything went so smoothly!

The staff at the Marriott were exceptional and accommodating. I had a pleasant stay and a comfortable room. It was very convenient to stay at the airport with easy access in and out. Be warned that they actually charge you to park your vehicle at their location which I thought was absurd (minus 1 star).

The Tampa Airport Marriott was a good choice for us when our plan got delayed 12 hrs. We were able to get a day room to rest and sleep until our plane was ready again. The rooms were very clean and the staff were great! We would stay hers again ever if needed. They also had a restaurant and pool. They are super close to the mall with tons of Food and Shopping stores! Also this was connected to the airport making it easy to go from one to another.

Best customer service I've ever encountered. Flights were rescheduled with a 24hr layover. Booked room very easily in 5 mins. online. Checked in with a representative at the front desk. Offered a late check out for a fee but then extended it even further as a complimentary. Check out went from 12 to 5pm!!! Free water given at the desk also. Heated pool and VERY clean rooms. Very happy with our unexpected stay at this airport hotel! A++++ Can't say enough about the respect and empathy they showed us.

Mark communicated me on chat while I was en route to Tampa and assured me he was working very hard on getting a room ready. Within minutes after arrival, Mark let me know my room was ready-- and even upgraded me. A bellman helped me without evening asking. The room was spacious and modern. The conceieragr lounge was azajng - They served the best nachos the evening I was there and the staff in the morning and evening were both helpful and kind. Finally, one couldn't ask for a better location right in the airport! 5 ⭐️ +
