Hi my name is Elizabeth, I checked in sunny south motel on Friday the 29th of May. I wasn’t at the motel most of the day. Then we came back at night time. When we were getting ready to go bed. During middle of the night I felt something was biting me. I started itching around my legs. Came to find out that there was bedbugs on the bed.. we had to leave around 3am to go to my parents house because that was the closest one around the hotel. I was unable to stay in that motel because I couldn’t stop itching and it was biting me everywhere. I have pictures to prove it to you. I asked the front office for a refund. And he refused to give a refund because I already checked in. He was telling me he already gave me refund when he charged me twice and only gave me one refund and was unable to get another refund. I noticed that the sheets were dirty then I left in the middle of the night . Then came back to our motel to check out stuff if we didn’t forget anything. It was already cleaned by someone and the sheet were still the same even the pillow sheets.. the outlets that we were trying to charge didn’t even work. The TV didn’t even work too. We had to charge our phones in our car..

So...if you like rude staff that you just want to punch, bed sheets that give you nausea, and roaches, roaches, roaches, then this is the place for you! Wait...the plugs are from the '50's. And the TV came from the dumpster. AND... I'd rather eat dirt than be in here.

Very Bad motel, Ownership management refuse return my daughter's debit card which it is HER OWN debit card! Owner is a FRAUD & Theif the people's debit cards if someone forgot in the room ! We will filed complaint against this motel from City of Tampa will going to take the action very soon! (( Recommendation NOT to reservation or sleep in that place). There is alots of ROACHES, Bed Bug, Nasty sheets that has NOT been washing at all! So NOT TO TAKE THIS MOTEL AT ALL!!! ((( Hey Owner ) you are the theif! RETURN THE DEBIT CARD BACK TO MY DAUGHTER ASAP OR YOU'LL REGRET!!!

Please don't come to this nightmare. I rent this motel online, since i get here the owner treat me like a piece of trash. I didnt understand his actitud because i am American, but he didnt like me. Two hours later he went to my room and he told me that he will call the police because i was doing a lot of noise which was not true. I told him ok i am going to wait for the police, the police never came. When i went to the office he told me that i have to respect his rule wherever it was wrong and his wife was talking like a poppy . and i told them that here in united states is not in the same country that they come, here united states save womens, respect our life. Please dont come here , this motel is a piece of trash

Booked 3 nights and only stayed one because of how dirty the rooms were. Shower wouldn't drain, floors turned my feet black, all furniture had stains, lights didn't work, ceiling tiles had stains. If you happen to stay here and need to bring some sort of electronic item, make sure you break your cable to only be two pronged because they use outlets from the 80s in these rooms still. You'll be one lightning strike away from losing every electronic item you own. And of course, saving the best for last: there were roaches crawling around the rooms. I took the money loss rather than stay one more night. Don't bother booking with them to begin with, save your money.

Disgusting room walk in and see lizards and not lot lizards! Sheets dirty stains and hair on them. Just keep your money and go somewhere else, and pretty sure the owner lives there., wouldn't stay here even in a zombie apocalypse

The most expensive and nasty motel in town and they don't change the sheets and the towels they even threatened me they were going to call the cops because I was smoking inside the room when there was a ashtrays inside the room they are very rude and very very bad customer service there's no customer service at all 😭🤭😵 be careful you get sick in that place. A lot of roaches and mold in every room they should replace the owner they are very rude and nasty I rather stay in my car😱

The place is a DUMP!.. The management is incompetent and can't speak or understand barely a word of English... You can't communicate at all.. The rooms are claustrophobic and awful.. Of anything is wrong fix it yourself because no one will help you.. This (like the nearby TAMPA LODGE MOTEL) are both Incredible DUMPS managed by ignorant incompetent people.. Uuuuughhhhhh 😣

I gave it the Stars I did because if you're like me and you don't like people harassing you it's the perfect place to go

Guy was rude, and tried to charge 200 dollars, when I got there. On top of the 70 dollars I paid for the room days before with no notice

It was so dark and dingy I could not stay there. I ended up checking out within 15 minutes and finding somewhere else. The management wouldn't even partially refund me anything for the room i didn't use. Definitely would not recommend.

if you go to that place you should always ask for your receipt because they want to charge people 129 for one night and they are rude not even in prison are they as rude as in that place.
