Went here for a lecture/book signing. They have a decent size informal event room off the restaurant and bar. Stayed for dinner afterwards. Very decent. Casual place with indoor and outdoor seating in back courtyard patio. Food is quite good. Menu of elevated hand helds and healthier fat. Pretty busy bar crowd.

Interesting little place turned out to be pretty large! We wandered over after parking in a small lot the block behind the main strip. It had a main bar and dining room area where the bathrooms were located and then around the corner there was another dining hall where I can assume private events or concerts take place. We were greeted the moment we walked in and told we could sit anywhere we like. Since the bar was packed, we chose a small table toward the back. The art was eclectic and fun to view. They had some posters from past events that looked incredible! We would have loved to attend those. We enjoyed some yummy cocktails including a few espresso martinis off the menu and a couple whiskey sours. My fiance wasn't hungry, but I wanted a light snack to begin the New Years night shenanigans so I ordered the baked brie. It was served with warmed crostini and was perfectly baked with green apples and honey roasted garlic. I finished it all myself it was so good! The rest of the menu looked soooooo good but we weren't hungry enough to order more. It was a great time and staff had cute outfits on for the holiday. Highly recommend this place if you'd like to try somewhere with real character.

Brick’s BBQ is hands down one of the best barbecue joints in Sarasota! The melt in your mouth brisket, tender ribs, and juicy pulled pork are just a few of the mouthwatering options on their menu. The friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and generous portions make every visit an absolute delight.

Yummy food, kind staff, free internet. Great place to work if you like being around people. They offer food, alcohol and have a coffee bar. The food has always been great and so has the coffee. Check it out!

We went on a Sunday night and had a great time. We started as a small group, but people we knew kept coming in and the server was so kind to keep bringing over more tables and chairs. We overheard that waitstaff had called in, but our server was so attentive that we really couldn't tell she had other tables if we hadn't looked and seen her doing it. And she was honestly super patient and kind to our large group. All of the food ordered at the table looked great, but my order was the Bird and Pig -- pulled chicken, brie, apple, and honey. The side salad was spring greens with a wonderful basil vinaigarette. We'll definitely eat here again.

The food was fabulous, as were the Lattes & Margheritas. The "daily special" was a great 🥗 salad with a delish grilled marinated chicken; very original flavor in the marinate; Jalapeño Poppers were the BEST i have ever had. Kudos to Chef and his kitchen Staff. Our server was good, not GREAT. The missing ☆ (for a 5☆review) was for something very interesting: Extra Napkins! I requested extra dinner napkins & received COCKTAIL napkins, three or four of them! Yikes! No big deal to most diners, but to me, that simple lack of dinner napkins was...careless? Unnecessary? Cheap? Yea, all of the above. Would definitely revisit, even 4☆☆☆☆'s later.

Loved the vibe inside. Food was full of flavor. My husband and i split a sandwhich and order of Nachos. Plenty of food. Service was slow but only seen 2 maybe 3 waitresses. We would definitely come back.

Visited here in 2019 on a solo trip and have thought about it since! Came out to the area again on vacation this week with my partner this time, and this was the first place we stopped in at. Delicious way to start our trip!! 😍 the pacific rim was 😘🤌🏻 and excellent drinks

We were the very last customers served. On a Thursday night there was nobody else there and the food was great. Atmosphere is what you would expect in Ebor. We had a great Sangria, a wrap and a sandwich.

I travel for work and found myself in Ybor, trying to find a place with some half-way healthy food. After trying The Bricks I went back twice more during the trip, let me tell you why: Food & Drink The food was very good and reasonably priced. I tried the Nachos and a few sandwiches, all excellent in their own way and out to the table shockingly quickly. While not strictly healthy, the food was great quality and the ingredients made it a better offering than 90%+ of what is within walking distance. I tried several Sour Beers on offering as well as some mixed drinks. Rarely have I had such a good pour of Sailor Jerry and Soda, I even passed that compliment to the staff. While I'm not a coffee/tea person there was a continuous bustle for those items as well and everyone seemed quite satisfied. Service There seems to be a small compliment of wait-staff which is fine as they're all exceptional. Constantly checking in on me, friendly banter, and free with suggestions when asked. I wish I'd gotten names so I could give personal shout outs but safe to say everyone was kind and attentive to me. Vibe and Atmosphere The Bricks is very laid back, at least during the week (I can't speak for weekends). There's enough of a constant crowd to not feel empty but also not packed and annoying. The music and videos are eclectic and unintrusive if that's not your thing. They do seem to have some live performances so if that's your thing, check with them and see who's coming around and when. I noticed a very diverse cliental in every respect, although definitely a Punk/Alt vibe which is perfect for me. Groups seem popular but no one was obnoxious and there's plenty of space to spread out if need be. The large front windows are ideal for a rainy day, which I made use of more than once. Overall I strongly recommend a pop in to The Bricks if you're in or passing through Ybor. I'm sure on the weekends it gets a bit crazier and with the Days/Hours of operations it's absolutely a dinner spot during the week. Maybe stay away if you're VERY conservative but honestly, the rest of the world is already for you anyways. :P

Food was amazing! Ahi Tuna Nachos were the best I've ever had. Ahi BLT was out of this world. Cabbage slaw was great. Great variety of drinks.

I recently enjoyed eating at The Bricks, a quaint eatery tucked away in the centre of Tampa, Florida. I was welcomed by a welcoming atmosphere as soon as I stepped through the door, which laid the groundwork for a lovely dinner experience. Sarah, our waitress, is deserving of special recognition for her superb service. She was very informed about the cuisine in addition to being nice and attentive. She led us through the many options and gave us great advice that raised our expectations for the meal. The rice bowls were without a doubt the best part of our dinner at The Bricks. These bowls were truly a work of culinary art. Each bowl's fusion of flavours and textures was wonderful.

I was in town recently and this was close to our hotel, but I was so impressed I will put this place on my Must Eat list anytime I'm back! All of us commented on how amazing our food was, the atmosphere was so welcoming with a super chill vibe. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. I can't say enough good things about this place!

I was there to meet for the Ghost Hunting tour. Both my Mother and I got there early enough to have some dinner. As soon as I walked into the door, I was thoroughly impressed with the esthetics and atmosphere. The staff was great and immediately made you feel welcome. The music that was playing was great and wasn't so loud that you had to shout to have someone hear you talk. As for the food, it was top-notch. If I'm ever in Tampa again, I'll definitely visit this place. I only wish the owner would open a place like this in Port Charlotte. It would make a killing over here.

Visited from out of town on a Thursday night and this has been the best food we’ve had in Tampa so far. What a surprise! Tasty vegan options too! We ordered the Bricklayer Nachos with jackfruit…what a tasty treat! The perfect balance of crunchy/soft, sweet and spicy!! I am confident that everything else on the menu tastes equally delicious!!

Hands down my new favorite spot in Ybor for coffee and good vibes. I highly recommend the Liquid Heroin with almond milk. Iced or hot it is outstanding. Above all the staff are amazing. Super friendly and easily engage in conversations that make you feel like you have been there before, even if it is your first time. Highly recommended!

We were in town looking for food and cocktails and the interwebs led us here! Super glad it did, it was a fantastic meal and the very attractive bartender (forgot his name) made me some delicious sangria from scratch!! 10/10 would stop by here again. I should've bought merch.

Fun place with vegetarian and vegan options. I had Veggie Cuban with slaw side that I put on my sandwich. It was delicious. I had a decaf chocolate caramel cappuccino that was just delightful. Great atmosphere too in Ybor City.

The place has a nice vibe to it and the open kitchen concept was interesting. I would definitely come back to just hang out with friends and order beer. They have some board games so that was a nice touch. However the food was quite insipid. I ordered the "Bird & Pig" sandwich and it was flavorless and the chips tasted and looked like Tostitos. I also tasted the "Pacific Rim" sandwich and I had the same verdict. Hey, great place guys and it gave me some good vibes, but I do recommend reviewing the menu or talking with the cooks because the food was quite unstimulating. Cheers, best of luck!

Nice vibe .very spacious. Indoor/ outdoor dining. Then they have a cool event room.Unfortunately i did not have a drink but the bar is big and they had a huge selection of alcohol and fun cocktails. We had the nachos and the s'more brownie.. both were delicious

Spent my morning here for Goth brunch. Today's theme being What We Do In The Morning (vampires). Dressing up gets you a free shot. I got the special, a "Bloody Burrito" with sauteed onions, red peppers, eggs, chorizo, and "bloody sauce"(queso and enchilada sauce). It's served with breakfast potatoes. Everyone here is great, they've been working super hard to make this an awesome brunch for everyone. Will be back 💕

Great place! Drinks and food are fantastic. Lots of local beer options. Hopefully they'll invite Laura Jane Grace to come back for some more killer shows!

Surprised I haven't reviewed this amazing establishment years ago! First of all, the staff is always welcoming and friendly, as if you're an old friend visiting after a while. Secondly, the food is excellent and always tasty. You won't find regular, "normal" food here. You'll get their best concoctions and the combinations of food is amazing. Checck out the art and stop by for a bite or drink. You'll have a good time.

The food was delicious! We had the rooster bowl (and was one of the best bowls we’ve had in a long time!),sandwich, and an apple pie. Both Carlos and Kyle were very helpful and super nice and friendly. Definitely a go to while in ybor :)
