Times have changed for the sure. Truly sad that this place turned to Mexican quick serve and is now so commercial. You used to get authentic Mexican dishes here. They also used to serve real drinks. Maybe the day I went was just a bad day in the kitchen. My burrito was so small. I'll give them another chance soon. The Lutz location is truly amazing. Go serve Emily for an overall amazing experience. She changed my mind about Taco Bus. She deserves a gold metal award for customer service and appreciation. To all best. Be well and take care for now.

Lazy staff and no apology or refund available when we received our bowls with no black beans, no jalapeños or guacamole (that we paid extra for). We had also order a side of chips and queso. We got our order and this was nowhere to be found. I asked the employees where it was and they went into the kitchen and said “oh, we’re out and have to make some.” So they were perfectly content to serve out order without an item that they didn’t have and were going to let it slide if we hadn’t said something. Bathrooms also filthy and no paper towels available. The food we got was decent, but everything seemed very prepackaged and not authentic. I watched them heat a big plastic bag of queso…

TRASH!!! Where do I start. Cook was sitting in car upon arriving to location. We walked in at the same time. Our food was prepared in 2 min tops, and the guest behind ordered and received their food within 45 seconds. There were also ants on 2 of tables to dine in. This is a fast food taco restaurant. microwave and go.. 🤢don’t waste your time. Taco Bell is better compared to these guys.

I keep forgetting to take a photo of my food 😂 usually can’t wait to eat it. This place reminds me of a popular Mexican fast food chain in California. It’s the crunch here, for me!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend. Not the best area but definitely worth the drive and $$! Addicting for sure! Staff is friendly and wait time is short. They have vegetarian options. If you ask nicely and they have some available, they will give you “I ❤️ Taco Bus” stickers which is cool too! Plates are LARGE and delicious! Don’t forget the salsa! Green salsa here is my favorite!

I loved the food. I ordered over the phone and picked it up. The staff was kinda dismissive and it was not very clean…and the plate was very greasy. It honestly would be a 10/10 if the place was clean. It’s old, worn out, dirty and kinda uncomfortable to eat there (which is why I carried out) the food was great though, and I will definitely be coming back for it.

I’m always looking for diners drive ins and dives restaurants. Tried this place out after a concert. They were getting close to closing but welcomed us in anyway. Good food and good service!

I’m hesitant to ride a negative review because of the staff, however it seem to be a management problem, so I think the manager or owner would want to know. Food was good, the location & the atmosphere was good. The staff person, gentlemen taking our order at the cash register was semi-friendly, not very helpful when ordering, overall seemed a little annoyed we were there at about 830 on a Friday night, once our order was placed it took about 40 minutes to get our order, two cooks in the kitchen area didn’t seem to know how to prepare and the guy at the cash register was running back-and-forth after taking orders & trying to fulfill orders in the kitchen, The two kitchen guys did not want to work and it was obvious they were annoyed at the orders coming in. After we received our order we did not get 2 shrimp tacos, after explaining to them they were missing they said it would take about 20 minutes to prepare, after waiting another 20 to 30 minutes and ask him numerous times about the shrimp tacos the two guys in the kitchen again annoyed to have to prepare them and they were able to prepare them in less than 6-8 minutes, The cash washer guy was trying to apologize however none of them seem to be excited to be at work. I asked multiple times for a refund because at this point everyone else had eaten except for my wife who was waiting on two shrimp tacos, they were not at all interested in refunding any money and offered five shrimp tacos in place of the two that were missing however now we’re an 1.5 into the dinner and everybody else had eaten and we were ready to leave, we took the shrimp tacos to go and left, overall it was not a pleasant experience due to the bad attitude of the staff and lack of staff.

Just a generic place. Tried multiple things on the menu. 2 things were pretty decent. The Chimi and the El jefe. Everything else so far has been mediocre. A little expensive for my taste

Every item was awful. How do you mess up Mexican corn?? It was over cooked and seemed like they threw some spicy sauce on it. The chimichanga was just full of beans and a trace of meat thrown on top of parchment paper. I didn’t know if I was eating cheese or parchment paper. The tortas was all bread. Just overall very very disappointed. The rice was the driest I’ve ever had. Never thought I’d ever find such a horrible Mexican food. Will never return. Horrible experience.

Quality has degraded over last 2 years. Believe change of ownership or management has occurred post-covid. Food is noticeably less flavorful despite price increase. Probably will not continue to be a customer.

I used to go here every month until I left my debit card there for a couple hours and the girl working the register used it to purchase hundreds of dollars worth clothes on websites like shein and bought herself lunch. When I called to let the manager know he apologized but I never went back.

I love that place! I go every time I visit my mother in Tampa. Since they were simply a white school bus. I've always ordered the same thing and it's still delicious. Every person I've brought there has loved it as much as I do!! And I will continue to go there until I can't go there anymore!! Tell everyone, YAY TACO BUS!!

Go to another location. I believe this is the original one but it's ran very poorly. I love Taco Bus on 301 and downtown Lakeland because they are friendly and very interactive with customers. I went here and they were too busy on their phone to notice several customers. The crust on the taco salad I ordered was raw and under cooked. I ate the filling and tossed the rest. I'll never return to this location even though it's 5 blocks from my house. I'd rather drive to 301 for better service. This place has fallen... sad... get better employees!!!

Went to the Original Taco Bus, and it was way different than when we used to go back in the day, but it was really good.

Let me just say, this is nothing like the original Taco Bus that once graced this street lot and drew masses of blue-collar citizens... They have definitely expanded in a way that offers more covered and/or air-conditioned seating since their original establishment. What's surprising though, is that the restaurant always seems a bit on the slow side, but that could just be because I've been lucky the three or four times I've been there recently. The exact flavor of the food is not what I remember from years ago, but why should it be? It is still good. What I do find is that the service is aways a little bland, which is probably the result of a lack of energy from inbound traffic.

Excellent food but waitress very fast-speaking and hard to understand. The only real complaint though was that we paid $12+ for four large sodas to-go and only afterwards found that their Coca Cola machine was out of most of everything besides regular cola and the odd things that are hardly ever used. When we asked about it, they replied “-something-“ and “no”.

We love Taco bus food, but the service was lack luster, and the dinning room was dirty. We sat and ate our lunch, and no one even looked in this area. The dinning room is not the norm, but the food was great, as usual.

Wish we had Taco bus in Sanford. Definitely a must whenever I am in Tampa. Never had anything I didn't thoroughly enjoy!

Always delicious! Haven't been here in a few years. They've made some great changes to this original location.

I always love Taco Bus. This location wasn't very busy on Christmas Eve which was great for us. We were able to have a nice, quick meal outside on the patio. The food was delicious as always. I really appreciated the safety measures they are taking and felt very comfortable eating there.

Food good. Restaurant not very clean, bathroom not stocked or flushing. Staff friendly but not attentive. We dined in received food in Togo boxes in a bag. No silverware.

I ordered a carnitas quesadilla. What I got was this, with only refried beans inside.

I like this location, I do think it's lost a little bit of the charm of Taco Bus a few years ago, but I'm happy they've expanded while still having quality options. Food that's always good is good in my books. Keep it up guys.
