Best Greek Food in town! Great ambiance and service, clean hookah with different flavor options! Must visit when you are in Tampa.

Great vibe, good music and belly dancer. Food was good too. I ordered carry out but it was missing the fries... Possibly cos the kitchen was very busy on a Saturday night. I recommend checking this place out!

I wanted so grab some Greek food before my flight back to Chicago, so I stopped in. I was NOT disappointed. The staff was amazing and gave me excellent suggestions.. not just one or two, but several inspired suggestions. I had the grilled octopus, lamb lollipops and the appetizer sampler.. Of course I couldn’t finish it all, but I HAD to try them all. I’m still thinking about the food and I will be back for more in about a week!! Love this place!!

This place was very conveniently located and we were able to get in quick with great service! The food was absolutely amazing from the appetizer sampler to the Seafood Acropolis!! The server brought out a delicious baklava cheesecake for my girlfriend's birthday and we had a great dining experience!!

The food quality and taste give Greek food a bad name. The bread is NOT complimentary and the food was BLAND NOT GOOD, BREAD OVER COOKED AND my drink was WATERED DOWN. The waitress Sarah was so forgetful and it was not busy. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THIS LOCATION... NEED NEW CHEF, MANAGEMENT and WAIT STAFF. This was our 3rd and FINAL time here. 3 strikes this location is OUT!!!! The Y'bor location is so much better and bread complimentary and not burnt.

First time coming to Acropolis. Was looking forward to some good Greek food due to the amount of reviews and rating but sadly I was really disappointed. Parking is $5 on site regardless if you valet. We were greeted and seated really quickly. Our waitress, Bailey, was nice and helpful with recommendations, but overall service was slow. Multiple large parties arrived shortly after we were seated. We had the following: - Calamari (4/10) The pieces themselves were quite salty and small which dried them out in the fryer. Felt like you were eating crumbs. Paired with marinara sauce. -Chicken Souvlaki Platter (7/10) The dish came with a greek salad, 2 chicken skewers, pita, and I substituted for greek potatoes and added an extra order of rice. The salad and rice was great. The chicken skewers were cooked well but the meat lacked flavouring. The Greek potatoes (diced up baby red potatoes) while seasoned well, were too citrus. Overall, wasn’t pleased with our experience. Another thing to keep in mind, they offer hookah on the menu and there were a fair amount of other patrons smoking so if that bothers you while eating, this may not be the place for you.

Extremely impressed by Acropolis!! The environment overall is extremely laid back and welcoming. Elle was our server and she was absolutely amazing & beautiful as well!! The food is amazing and drinks were equally just as good. We came here for a bachata class that included a live dj full of a dance floor of dancing. Overall, I would definitely come back again and eat here again. Outdoor dining is an option as well and you can smoke hookah outside!

I love coming here. It’s my favorite. Great food and ambiance. PLUS I’ve seen huge improvement in service since Joe took over. Come eat here! And check out their events! They’re always hosting something.

Great place to have a Birthday dinner. The music was great and the servers were attentive. Food was good and portions were of good size. Full bar options. You can also get hookah. Indoor outdoor seating options. Nice ombeounce and vibes

I took my wife tonight for a dinner date and I’m so happy we picked this restaurant!! The service and atmosphere was great!!! Kareem was or waiter and he was amazing!! Very attentive and made sure we were well taken care of :) If you ever decide to come here ask for Kareem you will love his service!!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The atmosphere was amazing. Kevin was our server. He was friendly, tenacious and had great menu knowledge and recommendations. I had the lamb chops, sooo yummy. We’ll definitely be back for another girls night out!

Booked a reservation for mother's day about a week ago for outdoor seating. Arrived to discover unable to sit outside. About 25 seats "held" for another party, still hadn't arrived by the time we left about 3 hours later. Young woman, long dark hard, black short pants said "no" we couldn't sit there even after confirming our reservation. Sat inside, which was fine. Really nowhere was near as busy as expected there today. Food excellent, waiter Adrian great! Recommend saganaki, octopus, sangria! This girl with the long dark hair, who appeared to be running things did not even apologize for the change, the wait, since their cook walked out today, or say thank you or goodbye when we left, even though we dropped $250 easily there! Love Acropolis, but not the south tampa one, will continue to visit the others in the tampa area. Customer skills lacking in this young lady.

First time here and it was okay. The atmosphere is nice. The food was so so for the price. Kept it simple- chicken gyro wrap, feta fries & a $5 side salad.

The Host and Server were very friendly and patient as we decided where to sit and what to eat. The food was delicious. They both expressed how they really enjoyed working there.

I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to all the staff for making my party such a wonderful experience. Everything was elegant and spectacular; the atmosphere, food, table setting and customer service. Everything and everyone was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t be happier.Again, thank you so much for everything but more importantly, thank you for helping me make it happen and making it a beautiful memorable night for us. The place has an outdoor seating which is really nice. We had problems ordering as our server Hanna didn't really understand what vegan meant. We ordered the vegetable wrap without cheese and Greek fries without cheese. A falafel wrap with no cheese. We were with our friends and our food comes out with cheese on it. Our friends food he loved. Hanna came took our food back and it took 15 mins to bring the correct food to the table. We were very disappointed with the whole experience.

Good food with large portions. The salad was my favorite. We had a container of hummus which was delicious, but had so much garlic we scared all of the vampires away for a week.

Came here for a wedding party and had an absolute blast! Drinks are great, food is delicious, and they are quick in service! Yvonne was an excellent waitress. When you come as a wedding party they pull out all of the stops. I only managed to capture the Baklava because I was WAY too busy eating to take pictures. Seriously, you will NOT leave hungry!

All the food was great! Kelly— our server— was amazing! The service was great, Manakeesh was my favorite and the chocolate bomb desert was delicious!! Definitely recommend this place 100%.

Excellent Mediterranean food and accouterments. We visited on a slow night and the restaurant was mostly empty. It's normally pretty lively here, but tonight had a different vibe. The food was very good. Portions were great. I've been here several times in the past and service has always been great. Tonight, not so much. It took 50 minutes for our meals to come out. Service was very slow. I had to twice get up and look for our server to get drink and water refills, even though we were one of two parties in the restaurant. Had we been in a hurry to eat, I would have considered walking out. Instead, we just decided to chill and wait it out. I offered up 4 stars, guven the food quality and the fact that they were very apologetic about the wait. We'll come back again and update if worthy of a 5-star review.

Love the spot!!! I used to come here frequently like almost 3-4 times a week. Over the past couple years I have noticed that a lot has changed in terms of their menus and also how the place looks aesthetically which they did improve a lot. The seating outside is really nice and The decor is very pleasing. If we’re talking about the food I’ve noticed that their menu has changed and it is frequently changing which is one thing that personally I don’t like. The one thing that I noticed is that the prices are constantly changing as well and same thing with their portions. So I would keep that in mind. Nonetheless the place itself is a great atmosphere especially on the weekends and during the week day if you just want something chill it’s the place to be. Good hookah & good food can’t complain. The staff members are generally really nice there’s a few that I love and are no longer there anymore but the staff members are pretty helpful for the most part. Sam & Kosta are the sweetest!

Great experience. Seated immediately on a Saturday night. I had the Gyro platter and a few glasses of Pinot. Total was $23? Very affordable and delicious. I’m definitely coming back when I’m in the area.
