The Boozy Pig is a hidden gem. It's a small but cozy place that is both restaurant and butcher shop. Seating was open on a first come first serve basis and there is BYOB allowed so if you'd like to have a beer, bring your own. Our server was very welcoming and made us feel at home. During brunch I had the Back to Bed which was amazing. The dish consisted of cheddar biscuits topped with collard greens, chorizo sausage gravy, and a fried egg. Their Cuban sandwich was also one of the best I've had in a very long time. All of their ingredients are fresh and immediately noticeable from the first bite. We heard they are going to start serving dinner as well this month (August) and I cannot wait to be back.

Came to Tampa for a Bucs game and we needed a spot to grab a bite before the game, and I’m so glad we chose The Boozy Pig, because not only was the BBQ absolutely outstanding (insanely good mac & cheese too), but they let us pop our own bottles while we enjoyed our meal, which was super clutch!

Legitimately the best restaurant ever. Humanely raised and killed animals from real farms (not factory farms). Also very empty due to the misleading name sounding like a bar or only serving pork which most people don’t like. So you get the best food that’s better than even Miami restaurants without having to wait to be seated let alone wait weeks for a reservation

This place is a hidden gem. Been there twice now for lunch on a weekday & then brunch on a Sunday. Just outstanding food. Also this is a BYOB setup. So, make sure to bring your 6 pack ;) Food is absolutely amazing. I ate the Sicilian sandwich & back to bed from their brunch menu. Both left me wanting more. And, yes the chicharon are good too.

I tried this place for the first time today. I ordered the BLT, stated that it comes on Cuban bread but when I received the sandwich it was just on standard white bread. I also ordered the collard greens, they charge $7 for a small cup. Unfortunately half of it was fat and pork and not much collard greens. The collard greens are also very sweet, I assume that’s how they meant it to be. Kind of disappointing:/

A butcher shop with quality in house made food and a full coffee/espresso setup? This please is awesome! The owner is wonderful to chat with and makes you feel at home. He’s born & raised 2nd generation (maybe longer, I could be wrong) here in Tampa. The meat vending machine out front is such a neat concept!

Delicious restaurant with a butcher shop. Casual location, great neighborhood restaurant and worth visiting from any part of this region. Everything we’ve earner here has been delicious! Friendly staff, great service. Brunch and lunch have been great. I haven’t made it for dinner yet. Highly recommend Why not 5 stars? I’m starting to get picky about giving 5-stars to only the best examples of restaurants. As an example, I really enjoy Boozy Pig but it is not at the level of Alinea.

A Cafe con leche, Sicilian in the South, Breakfast Cubano, and tallow fries for brunch had us full until dinner time! 2 thumbs up and double high five for a local butcher and restaurant who offer their community top notch sustenance using quality provisions from Florida ranchers and farmers.

I ate the Hillsborough Hash, fantastic. Our server was so good. A very unique place blending a butcher shop and restaurant together.

Absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a Saturday brunch and love the farm to fork concept where it’s not only a kitchen for dining in but a place buy meat from a butcher. Sourcing our foods from local farmers means fresh cuts of meat and in house prepared sausage/jerky that are provided to you with easy access in your own neighborhood. The cost was comparable, if not lower than Publix even. Not to mention they offer classes as well. Absolutely perfect opportunity to learn and spend quality time with your loved one or family. We will definitely be back!

AMAZING! The food here is drop-your-jaw good. I got the breakfast burger and it was shockingly good! My wife got the knuckle sandwich - also delightful. The pancakes were very good, though I didn't drop my jaw on those. Maybe I was just full from the burger! Place looks unassuming but the food is incredibly good. I suppose it's a good thing I don't live close bc I'd go here every week and my coronary arteries would soak a bit too much up.

Amazing. Had the weekend Bourbon Bread Pudding French toast and it was the best French Toast I’ve ever had. Cafe Con Leche was fabulous. Go. You won’t be disappointed in the service, food or price.

I wasn’t sure what to expect coming here as a friend decided on the meet up spot. EVERYTHING I tasted was absolutely delicious. I had a boozy burger that was perfectly cooked to medium, super juicy and tasty. The side of smoked cheddar Mac and cheese was amazing. The Fries were cooked to perfection, perfectly salted and seasoned. Lastly, we ordered the bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream. THIS IS A MUST!

Went for brunch and it was fantastic! From the ricotta pancakes to the chorizo gravy, the flavors were out of this world. Reasonably priced in excellent service, and a Great in Eats selection if you’re taking stuff to go home and grill with, can’t wait for dinner service to start.

Quality has gone down. Steak tastes rubbery. frites are still good. The pancakes aren’t crispy and soft as they used to be. The jam tastes synthetic. It’s a shame, used to be my favorite restaurant in all of Tampa.

This place is awesome. I dined in for brunch. I was drawn to this place because they cook with beef tallow and not machine lubricants. I got the steak and fries. The steak was grass fed and cooked to perfection. The fries were amazing and came with a tasty sauce. The lattes are great here too, and are made with strong espresso. The butcher shop is also fun to browse on your way out. They have a great selection of quality meats and house made sides that you can take to go.

Made a special trip out to try the beef tallow fries only to find out after I started eating them that they are cooked in soybean oil. Very disappointed in that. You shouldn't advertise fries cooked in beef tallow and then use a blend of mostly soybean oil. Other than that the bean soup was good, burger was ok. Everything needed salt EXCEPT for the shrimp and crab sauce which was excellent. Overall, I would say the food quality doesn't justify the price. I hope they get it together, but I probably wouldn't make the drive again any time soon.

To Go or Not To Go: Go Go!!! We had heard great things about this local restaurant and finally got there today for lunch- and they are all true! They have the retail side where you can get meats, pasta etc and the restaurant side where you just take a seat and they’ll come get your order. My grass fed burger and white bean soup and corn bread were all very delicious and I ate every single bite. Service was prompt and courteous. This place is friendly and fun! After lunch we bought meat at the deli side and talked to the butcher at length. It’s also a great place to keep in mind for a private event. I cannot wait to come back for breakfast.

Don't let the name fool ya, this is a BYOB place. Laid back atmosphere, great, variety of menu options. Fresh ingredients, kombucha on tap.

Great southern butcher shop with an array of high quality burgers, sausages, and brunch food. I highly recommend to anyone in West Tampa.

If we only lived closer… the secret is the beef tallow. Everything we had was delicious. Boozy Burger, Steak Frites, tomato salad and bread pudding. They fry their bread pudding in the tallow and it was (narrowly) the highlight of our lunch. I definitely recommend stopping in if you’re near when they’re open.

I’m so picky about burgers and loved this one. First of all, I want my burger to taste like delicious beef, and this didn’t disappoint. I requested cheese on the side (for my salad) and they were happy to do that. The two 4oz patty’s are a little odd to me.. I’m not sure why they don’t just do one 8oz, but it’s all good. The brioche bun was toasted perfectly. The burger was cooked perfectly. The salad was very fresh too. My favorite burger in Tampa now that Boca is gone.

A must try on your next drive down Dale Mabry hwy. The food was amazing, the service was wonderful. Their selection of butchered meats was great, they have amazing beef jerky! They also have several other little things such as spices, eggs and dairy, even kimchi! So so good, if I could give them 100 stars I would. I made it a point to let our waitress know that I’m not a fan of sausage but their breakfast Cuban with pork sausage was actually amazing! Cute little place with rustic farmhouse decor ☺️

We ordered two sandwiches and a piece of pie and waited about 30 mins for our food. When we got home, the pie wasn’t included. This is half of a $14 sandwich. Food tastes good, but I don’t think it’s worth the money or the headache.

Have ordered takeout and dined in and the service and food are AMAZING. Dare I say best meal(s) I've had in Tampa? Try whatever specials they have (had the jalapeno sausage and chili today). I haven't had a single thing off the menu I haven't liked (knuckle sandwich, specials above, burger, el mixto). Also picked up some dog treats on the way out that I'm sure my dog will love. Can't wait to go back and try brunch.

Love the Boozy Pig! We've had the pleasure of trying their sausages and burgers with friends before, but we finally made the trip over to see them ourselves. Such a friendly group of people working here and hands down the best sausage in town. Will definitely be back!

Worth checking out if you've never been here before. On a Saturday around lunchtime don't expect a fast meal though. Expect to spend 45 minutes to an hour. Lots of stuff on the menu I wanted to try. I got the Italian beef for $14 and breakfast Cubano. I could get a similar size Italian beef at another place for $7. Both items were cooked well but they could use some flavor. I'd come again to try some different items.

Great food. I have not not had a meal yet that I wouldn't order again. The only downside is seating. People sitting at four tops with two people and the one two top table that no one wants to sit at by the entrance. Maybe re arrange the table, break the two pushed together for a four top when only two are it. Highly recommend it and get something to cook later at the house from the market. The burgers are great.

The Boozy Pig is my go-to place for lunch when in Tampa. Not only is it a great place to eat but the butcher shop is incredible. If that's not enough, their jerky is the best I've ever had. This place is a Tampa Treasure! Go! Go now!
