I've been coming to Sushi Cafe for the past decade since moving to New Tampa. Hands down, the best sushi in New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area. I've been to every sushi joint nearby, and this remains to be my favorite one. First off, their fish tastes great. The salmon and tuna is incredibly flavorful. Secondly, the menu is extremely affordable, especially at lunch time. In addition to sashimi and sushi, Sushi Cafe offers multiple hot dishes as well. You can get generous portions of hibachi or katsu. For appetizers, I highly recommend the salmon skin salad or agedashi tofu. In terms of service, I've never had a negative experience here. The servers are all really friendly and sweet.

Been here twice. Both times an hour prior to closing. Staff is very nice, speedy service. Start to finish in 20 mins.

Its become harder to find a truly good sushi place in the past few years. Sushi Cafe' does not disappoint! The food is fresh, clean and delicious. Well presented too ;) get there early or make a reservation because space is tight! Enjoy!!

I went there for dinner tonight. I have gone there two years back n I can remember I loved the food. Today also food was awesome. I highly recommend this place for Sushi lovers. Rolls are so fresh … You will definitely have a good service too …

Very fresh Rolls and Seafood. Good service and this place has takeout, it gets pretty full so call to see if there's a wait. Mostly on weekends. They also have a Hibachi Grill. Lots of people from USF Area.

I usually have a good experience with this place but I had to comment after today's order. My bagel roll was missing the cream cheese, which is 1 of only 3 fillings. When I ate a piece of the Pacific fusion roll(chopped spicy tuna and other stuff) I bit down on several fish scales. Pretty annoying and unsettling which is a bummer because I this has been my go to spot. Hopefully just a fluke but I think I'll start looking for another place.

Ordered to-go on Xmas evening and came into the establishment to pick up order *before* a rush of customers started coming in. 40 minutes from initially calling in, I kindly asked how my order was coming along....and again, 5 minutes later....and again, 5 minutes later, and again 5 minutes later. During this time, I'm watching the staff having totally lost control of all the orders and getting paid customers out of the door. No one can clearly communicate to me the hold up aside from saying "let me check" and walking to the back. Lines of customers at this point start going out of the door. At about 1 hour from calling in my order, I was finally handed my order. At the dinner table and the family was ready to chow down, every single item was ice cold and to add insult to injury, the incompetent staff placed the wrong California sushi roll in the to-go bag when I order Teriyaki chicken. Never coming back.

Sushi is good and affordable. Unfortunately, service is very slow. Waitresses prioritize online orders, so it takes some time to get a table and to take care of sitting people orders, making everything too slow.

I love Sushi, but this is the first place I liked in my three years of living in Tampa. Huge selection for different tastes and the price was very pleasantly surprised me. All sushi and rolls are so interesting and beautiful presentation. My waitress Shanna was very helpful and helped me make my choice. I ordered a baked roll and a rainbow roll and a few other different sushi. Everything tastes very fresh and delicious. And for the first time, my roll did not fall apart into different parts on a plate. This means that the chef really knows how to cook them. Now I plan to have dinner there at least once a week.

Still one of the best Sushi restaurants in the Wesley Chapel, New Tampa area. We have dined at most of the Sushi establishments in the tri county area and they still remain our favorite. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rolls are a great size they have a ton of choices and the consistency is outstanding. Our last visit was a Friday night around 7pm and the place was packed. We met 2other couples there and ordered a boatload of rolls. Despite the extremely busy night they were still able to get out food out quickly with the same amazing and consistent quality we have come to expect. Please stop in and enjoy.

Nice discovery. I enjoyed my sushi and my wife was very happy with her hibachi. Service was really good too, will come back to try other items on the menu.

Very good food. Their hibachi is surprisingly flavorful. We like to go for lunch during their specials.

I ordered the sushi lunch special (2 rolls and 4 sashimi with a ginger salad) and a sweet tea. A good price value BUT the rolls were just ok.

The fish is fresh and well portioned to go with the sushi rice. Staff is excellent!

Gave this place a try after living next to it for a year. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. Ordered $40 worth of food which included three rolls. Both tuna rolls tasted as if they were out the sea and not sushi grade, tuna on top of the roll looked dry and was chewy and tough. Never have I had sushi and the fish had a fishy taste. The only edible thing was the clear soup.

I've been going here for a very long time. The food is consistently good. We have Sushi and Hibachi here at least every two weeks. It's definitely a staple in this house. The food is good and the restaurant is always very clean. The staff are very attentive and nice. It gets a bit crowded at night, but the wait isn't usually long. The best Sushi in the area.

We've been going for atleast 10yrs and we absolutely loved the place. Pacific fusion roll was our favorite. If there was ever any issue, they took care of it. Last 3x we ordered the tuna smelled ridiculously fishy, was just awful. We called and told them, they just blew us off. I can get 1 time it being off but 3 in a row! So now we have to find a new sushi place.

The food was very tasty, I ordered a seafood salad, The presentation wasn't appealing but the flavor was excellent. Service is basic, probably the language barrier, the atmosphere is ok, a place to eat and leave.

I ordered the spicy tuna rolls the tuna inside the roll tasted past it’s prime. Couldn’t eat the roll, girlfriend liked her meal, I’d have given a 0 star she would have given a 3 star so here we are at two stars. Would not go again.

Sushi Cafe is a little bit of drive to get to however it's worth it. Today they had the freshest White fish sushi I have had it was so delicious and flavorful. I had the sashimi platter and my date had the sushi platter it is a lunch special highly recommended. I also appreciate having jasmine tea not just green tea. Fantastic service by The waitresses they kept checking on us. The only cons would be I would have deeper soy balls because the soy would easily come out and spill all over the table. A little more room to sit down inside the seats would be nice they're all kind of crammed together. Parking is not the best there's a lot of businesses here. Other than that the chef did his job and the waitresses did their job so I am looking forward to coming back it was delicious

I come to Tampa from Ohio fairly often for work. This place is one of my go to places when I am in town. I have never been disappointed.

Waiting area and seating area are quite snug but a comfortable amount of space. Service is quick and speedy without the "rushed" feeling.
