Just unbelievably good food. Prices were reasonable. The issue is that there really isn’t any indoor dinning and they are annoying about covid still like making us stand outside and having the front desk half way into room so you don’t have room to stand or sit.

This is a beautiful little Thai restaurant located in a strip mall in New Tampa. It has a nice atmosphere and is clean. The staff is friendly and so helpful. I have food allergies and they made changes to my order that allowed me to enjoy their delicious food. Everything we ordered was very tasty, fresh, well cooked, and delightful. We will definitely return.

First time having this place and I tried the Thai fried rice with chicken since that’s what I usually get from Thai restaurants. There is a certain taste that sets Thai fried rice apart from other fried rices. It was presented beautifully and it tastes even better. I also had the Thai iced tea which was sweet but not too sweet, just how I like it. I read the other reviews about the paper plates and although mine was not on one, I wouldn’t have minded if it was. A paper plate is more sanitary than any other option in my opinion. My tea came in a to-go cup which I was happy about because that’s how I usually try to order in any restaurant. Overall, this place is amazing and the owner(?) was very nice and had my food out very quickly. Shout out to the chef as well! I will be returning!

Best Thai food I've ever had. We are regulars here. I love the pineapple fried rice with scallops, and they make it gluten free for me. The service is excellent and the food is always ready within 10 to 15 minutes. Prices are reasonable especially since the portions are huge. Highly recommend!!!

My first time trying the restaurant. Didn't know the menu but have a cousin who has an Asian wife. (Thankfully) So I knew I wanted papaya salad and sticky rice. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. The order to-go was smooth, the food outstanding, and customer service 5 thumbs Up 👍 ordered garlic and black pepper meat combo (which included shrimp, chicken, and beef) star dish. Papaya salad cleansed my palate and filled me. Also tried lettuce wraps with chicken garlic ginger filling. THE BEST. Milk tea was delicious. I can’t wait to try it again! And i felt refreshed after eating not bloated

Best Thai food me and my family has ever had!!! The chicken pad Thai was delicious and the panang curry was one of the best dishes I have had in my life! My 9 year old son now wants to visit Thailand because this food was so good.

10/10 highly recommend!! I have been a regular here since 2018 and not once have I ever been disappointed with the food or the service! The lunch specials are a great deal and the dinner portions are generous. Seriously if you’ve never eaten at Palm Thai you are missing out! Don’t let the fact that you can’t eat in right now dissuade you. Your meal will be ready quickly. The food is packed with love and care and is still hot and delicious when I get home. Thanks for being my go-to comfort food for all these years and I hope to continue to be a patron for years to come!

Very clean. Small relaxed atmosphere. Food was delicious we had the spicy basil fried rice and the Thai fried rice. Great service. Will definitely return! The bathroom was really clean, a big plus for me. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by the way the bathroom is cared for.

My son and I had a delicious dinner today at Palm Thai. The food was very fresh and tasty, the restaurant is small but very pleasant, very clean. For starter we shared a bowl of Tom Yum soup - so far the best in town! For main dishes we ordered Red Curry Fried Rice with fresh basil leaves and Panang Curry with crunchy peanuts. Portions are big enough, we couldn't finish and gladly will enjoy tomorrow for lunch at home. The owner is very pleasant and attending. The whole experience was very very pleasant. Thank you.

Great place! Very nice wait staff, delicious food, Thai tea, and squeaky clean bathroom. We shared two lunch entrees and enjoyed them both.👍🏻👍🏻

The food was good. The green curry chicken was too spicy. I need to ask if they offer medium spice. They only service take out for now. The chicken was a little dry but worth trying again. The person who helped us, assuming he is the owner, was super nice.

Great dinner with friends....the pot stickers were delicious. We ordered the Eggplant dinner and Curry duck medium so it had a little heat but awesome. The staff were very attentive and service was terrific. We will be back for another dinner

The best Thai place in this area tucked away in a little plaza. Great flavor and authentic. The papaya salad is amazing! Prices are reasonable. Friendly owners as I see regulars walking in addressing them by first name. Very clean place as well.

My favorite Thai food place so far. Best for takeout as the in-dining experience is fairly barebones. But the food is outstanding. The menu is quite extensive, so I did not get a chance to try everything yet. All the traditional dishes I experienced in Palm Thai there were excellent, but I especially liked the signature dishes, which offer a gourmet-level tasting experience.

Don't bother!!! Waited for 2 hours for delivery even though they initially confirmed 45 mins. I don't care how good the food may be, that's just ridiculous! Plus they can't even provide one of the items we ordered. Too many other Thai places out there that deliver on time. Palm Thai...never again! Try Thai Ruby, Thai Lanna, Thai Modern....you're welcome.

Our old Thai placed by our house closed down so my husband and I tried this place out. So glad we did! When we went it was busy, so it was a little slow, but worth the wait! The portions were larger than I expected. The duck was amazing! Even though they were busy the waiter worked very hard to make sure we were taken care of. Looks like we found out new Thai place! Would recommend!

My, my, my, my-my-my-my….the food was good tonight!!! I enjoyed my Chicken Fried Rice as is and the jasmine rice is so moist, veggies are fresh, and the chicken is legit! Palm Thai has been good to me and it will be good to you! ❤️ P.S.: The young man at the counter with the arm sleeve is mad cool!

I eat here once a week, because 2 or more times seems too decadent - the food is consistent, fresh and freshly cooked to order. You won't find better Thai in Tampa - the egg fried rice is also the best I've had! The owner is on site, very personable and obviously interested and dedicated to quality!

Y’all, I used to wait 2 hours in line if I wanted to get good quality Khao Soi anywhere in Florida. There was one tiny place in Miami and that was it. What I didn’t expect was to find a completely underrated spot here in Tampa. It’s even one of the best I’ve had, including Thailand itself. As far as desserts, their mango sticky rice is a little overpriced, but I’d still get it again- well worth it. And they also have lunch specials!!! There aren’t many Thai places these days that have meat dishes for 11.95. For takeout I’ve ordered the papaya salad which was kinda meh, but other than that, it’s my favorite Thai spot in the area.

Kind of a let down, decent flavor and some spice which is hard sometimes with Thai places playing to multiple audiences. The lunch portion was average and the chicken was way overdone not tender at all. The egg roll was dinky and partially burnt, good flavor though. I did takeout since I didn’t care about the salad with the lunch special but for $12 I would expect more with quality or portion.

We were heading home and stopped for take out. OH MY GOODNESS! Best chicken pad Thai I've ever had! Plus the green curry fried rice was outstanding. Very friendly! Totally recommend.

Finally, a good Thai restaurant in Tampa! Went here with my friends and we were satisfied to finally find a good Thai place. The host was very friendly and he dressed very stylish. He checked up on us often as well. Very good service. Everything I ordered was delicious. Started with the steamed dumplings and the tom kha soup (Thai coconut lemongrass soup). My entree was the Palm Thai soft shell crab and it was delicious. I am very sensitive to spicy food and I think this was only a little spicy. You can ask them to change spice levels (I didn’t, it just came like that).

Thai is my favorite cuisine and I discovered this awesome Thai Restaurant tonight. It had great Google reviews and it did not disappoint. I ordered the pineapple fried rice with shrimp, red curry with chicken and steamed dumplings. Everything is absolutely delicious. The red curry is outstanding.

I love the lunch specials they offer here. I usually stop by between 11:30-12:00 pm and order the drunken noodles with chicken to-go. They always have the food ready very quickly. The staff are always so nice and accommodating. I recommend you try it out for a quick, easy, and excellent meal!

For Friday night we were looking for Thai place to have dinner and decided to have dinner at Palm Thai since it was just around 10 minutes from our place. Accessibility Palm Thai has a lot of parking places since it is located in the area where there are around 3-4 restaurants. One can park in the parking place and can directly go to Palm Thai Restaurant. Ambience When we entered the restaurant we saw that they have small seating area. They were decorated with Thai Idols on the walls. The restaurant was decorated very well showing the beauty of Thailand. Service Our server Ben was an amazing guy who was also the owner and he treated us well as well as answered all the questions regarding food and respected all our demands. Foods By exploring the menu we started first with appetizers and soup which included vegetarian spring roll, crab rangoon and tom kha soup. For dinner we ordered Drunken Noodles and Massama Curry. The server soon bought our disposable plates and soon for the food. Soon we got our appetizers and soup. The spring roll as well as crab rangoon were delicious. We loved both of them. It was a delicious start to our dinner. The soup was delicious too. It was amazing food freshly made with vegetables. Then soon we got our food which was drunken noodles and massaman curry. The noodles as well as curry was hot and deliciously made. Loved the dinner too along with the appetizers. The food as well as appetizers were hot and freshly made with perfect vegetables. Price The prices were perfect and it was according to the food we ordered. We didn't think it was pricey. It was really worth it. One of the best Thai restaurants in the area with hot and delicious Thai food.

This place has potential. My pad Thai was swimming in sauce that was too thick and too sweet. The flavor was ok, but nothing special. The water came in a bottle with a disposable plastic cup. The food came on paper plates with plastic utensils. The inside eating area is too small and tables are too close to one another. My friend and I had to talk very quietly just so the table beside us wouldn’t overhear the conversation. The owner was very friendly and nice to talk with. With all of the other good Thai places in the area, I won’t be back here.

I got food poisoning. I had projective vomiting, constipation, followed by diarrhea for about 4 hours right after eating the Pad Thai. My boyfriend had their curry and was perfectly fine. Regardless, I am too terrified to try their food again. Edit: Actually, my boyfriend woke up feeling very sick the next day and had to call off work due to food poisoning too.

Their shrimp and tofu fried rice dishes are the best I have tasted so far in Tampa. Nice and fresh! The customer service is great too. However, the food portions are rather small.
