Horrible birthing experience in 2019. They don’t take you seriously when you say you’re in pain, especially if you’re young. My epidural ended up causing nerve damage since they decided to dismiss my complaints of pain for 11 hours. I felt EVERYTHING on the right side of my body, but my left side was completely numb. I was never seen after giving birth by the anesthesiologist after they told me I would for the pain I was having. I asked for a lactation consultant, they never came. This was the most traumatic experience of my life and now I have to forever live with pain because they chose to not care enough or LISTEN. A delivery nurse word for word said I was being dramatic as I cried my eyes out trying to deliver my son. “Stop all this dramatic crying and push.” She’s lucky.. Go to Trinity Hospital, Florida Hospital, TGH… anywhere but here. Especially if you’re in your early 20’s. Hopefully you’ll get better care than I did.

Second child delivery had a wonderful experience. All the staff is kind and helpful my labor and delivery nurse Kasey especially was amazing and I feel she made a really huge difference in my delivery comfort/speed by using positioning techniques and communicating well and frequently with me. The only thing I would say that could be improved upon is slowness we experienced was during shift changes which is understandable but during that time on the first day I had requested pain medication that I had to call and re request appx 40 min later and when we called for WC on Dc day it was a 30 min wait also during shift change time. Overall my experience was very pleasant and positive and I’m grateful to have a hospital like this available for these important moments in our life.

Our daughter was born here. After 14 hours of labor I had to have an unplanned c section, something I was not at all prepared for. I’m So thankful for our doctor and they team at St Joe’s for a smooth surgery and recovery. We had a wonderful experience overall—every nurse and tech we interacted with was fabulous. I truly couldn’t have asked for better care.

I went in because I was desperately trying to get something done. They all questioned it but I had Lisa as my nurse and she was so kind and respectful of me. One of the sweetest nurses you’ll ever meet! Dr Rider was amazing and also very kind she asked if I was sure I wanted what I went in for a few times before doing it, she was so gentle with me knowing I was nervous. And even getting my ultrasound done and trans vaginal exam was not as nerve wrecking as it usually is. Thank you a million for such an amazing team. I left feeling optimistic about my visit. With the hard times we’re in it’s so hard to find people that are this nice. Thank you all for everything. If I ever need anything like that again I will be back ❤️

First time mom, just had my baby girl here. 30 hours in L&D and all I can say is thank you to the bottom of my heart to everyone of these nurses and doctors they all care so much about mom and baby. I had to stay 48 hours and these amazing women doctors and nurses helped me and my baby tremendously. This is a hospital of angels. I wasn't going to deliver here at first bc it's further away from where I live but wow I'm so glad I did.

Amazing!!!! I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. They treated me with so much care the staff was amazing and the food was great too. Everything I could have needed was given to me. And my favorite thing about this hospital visit was how much they respected what I wanted. I said I wanted to breastfeed and they worked really hard with me on getting my son to latch. All the nurses are breastfeeding trained and tried to help, then when that failed they sent the lactation consultant to help as well. I’m so impressed with everything that transpired. They really made my birthing experience a happy and memorable one.

We unfortunately lost our daughter after having an emergency c section. The neonatal doctors and nurses did everything they could to help her and make her hours on earth as comfortable as she could be. All staff from the doctors, nurses, and techs that took care of me throughout my time there were so supportive and understanding. I can not say a single bad thing about this facility and the staff there.

The staff was amazing during my c section from pre -op to post -op. They explained everything in detail and answered all of my questions making me feel so comfortable. Most of the nurses following my surgery were unbelievable, especially a nurse named McKenna. She took care of my and my newborn twins as if we were her own family. I will never forget her or the care she provided. The hospital was clean, quick to respond and helpful with anything me or my family needed. This is the second time I delivered here and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Thank you.

All the nurses were wonderful throughout my labor, delivery, and recovery. Dr. Cohen was great, too! They were all supportive of my medication-free labor, and the hospital’s policy of 12 hours of “quiet time” after birth with limited interruptions was so nice. They also did not come in excessively overnight to wake us up for tests— which was a first out of my three deliveries (my other two deliveries were at other hospitals, and they seemed to come in right as I fell asleep every hour or so).

I have all of my babies here and love this hospital. As I expect baby #3 I had some pre-term labor pains and needed to go into triage. Despite my discomfort I was blessed with a nurse that I will never forget. Her name was Epiphany. She was kind, warm and nurturing. I knew when she put socks on me that she was one that would go the extra mile. It’s sometimes the smallest acts of kindness that mean so much. Thank you for having her on your team. She delivers excellent patient care with a smile. Delivery experience: I just had my 3rd baby and as usual, my experience was fantastic. Dr. Hendrix delivered our son and she is phenomenal. Very professional and kind. Labor & Delivery nurse Maribel will never be forgotten. She was incredible and I’m so blessed she was by my side. Pastor Kenya said a prayer blessing over our baby and it was absolutely beautiful. My needs were met on the recovery floor and with the exception of a very cranky and curt lady who was answering the “call nurse” phones overnight on 8.9.22, everyone was fantastic! Never tell a patient “well I guess!” when they ask if pain meds will arrive from their nurse soon. The Vital Statistics process was strange in that they made me leave my credit card with them while they processed the birth certificate. Generally not a good business practice to keep credit cards- perfect storm for fraud. The sweet lady that did our baby photo shoot was awesome- thank you, Olivia. Lastly, the STAR of my stay was room service. The staff was professional and the food arrived hot and delicious without fail! Their omelets rival any 5 star restaurant and that chocolate layer cake? Wow! Thank you St. Joseph’s for another overall great experience.

During an extremely difficult pregnancy loss I was not only emotionally distraught, I was also deeply concerned for my health. After speaking with other providers who made me feel unheard and afraid for my health the providers at St. Joseph’s came to my rescue. Brenda, Dr. Rider & the surgical team made me feel safe. They also respected the emotional turmoil my husband and I were experiencing. They showed my baby who passed on respect & dignity when others did not. I can’t thank them enough. These are true healthcare professionals who love what they do and you can feel it. THANK YOU!

Entire team from nurses, anesthesiologist, to my Dr made me feel comfortable and relaxed while I prepared for surgery. They took excellent care post surgery as well while I woke up and prepared to go home. They were constantly communicating and telling me what to expect every step of the way!

I was absolutely AMAZED at the wonderful care I received at St. Joseph’s Woman’s Hospital!!! From the lady at registration to all of the nurses and providers, my care was exceptional! I was a cancer patient receiving care and surgeries at Moffitt in the past and was unfamiliar with St Joe’s since I don’t live in this area. My surgeon had me schedule surgery at this hospital instead. I was on the fourth floor and my nurse, Victoria Docobo deserves recognition for her compassion and excellent care that she provided for me. She was outstanding! I felt like I was part of the family and both of my daughters also commented on the exceptional care I was receiving and one works in another well known hospital. I think that this hospital staff needs to teach all other hospitals how it should be done!!! I am forever grateful!!!

Kate our labor and delivery nurse was amazing. She explained every step of the way and made us feel comfortable and aware of everything that would come. Dr. Botelho is amazing and she really has a way to make the process easy and so encouraging. All of the nurses and techs were amazing. I thank them for making us feel welcome, comforted and taken well taken care of.

My experience was absolutely wonderful, from the communication leading up to my induction all the way through the assistance in getting into my ride home. Every staff member we interacted with seemed to genuinely care about our comfort and as a new mother I appreciated being asked how I was doing and the advice that was offered. One thing I did not expect at all and think could use some improvement is the solicitors - although it doesn’t seem like a lot, having 3 people offer their services the day after labor was unnecessary; they were all very nice but I did not expect to be sold things in the hospital. I would have just preferred there be a packet of optional services for me to go through if I were interested, instead of them coming into the room.

Just wanted to say that I was blown away by the service I received. From the calls prior to my surgery from the hospital staff to make sure that I knew exactly what my costs were to the nurses and recovery staff to help me stay 100% comfortable before, during, and after my surgery. I was not rushed even one time which is what I was expecting after having surgeries at advent before. Rather, I had a heating blanket to make sure I was warm, I was given extra time to rest for the anesthesia to wear off and the nurses in recovery made sure that when I was ready to get up I would be pain free or at least as close as we could get to it. All in all, I have only good things to say and although I hope I need no further surgeries, making sure my doc is part of St Joes Hospital system will now be a requirement for any new docs going forward just in case. Shelly, Liz, and Stacey were awesome!

I just want to say my mother has been hospitalized a lot this past year but St Joseph Women’s hospital is by far the best hospital and handles her with care. If it wasn’t for Nurse Jamie in the PACE department I don’t know if my mother would have pulled through after her procedure. Nurses that care and take heed to the patients need to normalized and praised just as much. Jamie if you see this I know I thanked you while there but thank you again from the bottom of my heart!!! My families heart. You saved my mother and for that I am forever grateful! Give Jamie her flowers!

I was induced in April 2023. From arrival to departure everyone we encountered was just great! The L&D nurses were caring and easy to talk to you. The epidural team was fast and efficient. My OB was just wonderful! Even when we got to the room the nurses, housekeeping, dietary- just everyone basically- was very welcoming. My little had a long stay in the nursery- the nurses and doctor always kept me informed and called when I wasn’t in there to give me updates. Such great communication! I was also discharged before the baby was and this AMAZING hospital provided us with a courtesy room; apparently they can offer when not at capacity. I wasn’t expecting that and was extremely grateful. I would honestly recommend this hospital to anyone needing their services. Such a memorable experience.

I had a scheduled repeat c section that was uncomplicated. My first was in a different state. When my daughter was delivered here in no distress, my husband did not have a chance to cut the cord. She was given to us to hold while the procedure was finishing up, but as soon as I went to recovery, she was taken away again for a slow baby nurse exam instead of allowing for the critical golden hour period of skin to skin and latching. Her birth temp was a little low so I was astounded when it took almost a full hour from birth until after examination for her to be given back to me to feed and do skin to skin. Not once during my 3 day 2 night stay was I asked if I wanted to see a lactation consultant. I had to ask for the baby’s first bath to be delayed to 24 hours because it was going to be done a mere twelve hours after birth. There was also no refrigerator in the room or on the floor for me to store the colostrum i had at home and brought in to use to help with jaundice. What if I needed to pump—where was that milk going to be stored?? For a hospital that basically mandates rooming-in and claims to follow the baby friendly principles, it is clear that meeting the metrics of mother’s CHG wipes usage and fingernail cleaning are more important than measures that actually make a difference for the infant’s health in the neonatal period. It took over 24 hours for an Ob GYN and pediatrician to round on us and we had to ask repeatedly if anyone was coming to see me and the baby. Overall the nurses were very nice but fairly hands off and neutral. It often took a while for me to receive my medication of ibuprofen and Tylenol on a regular schedule so my pain was often not well controlled. I am glad for a safe delivery and a healthy baby, but was very underwhelmed by the care I received in comparison to my first child. If this had been my first delivery and I didn’t know what was going on or how to ask for help/resources, it would have been a very difficult and scary transition to parenthood. The post partum floor needs a refresh on how many questions you can have and how frightening it can be to be a first time parent who doesn’t know anything about how to care for a newborn and work more closely with parents to make sure they feel comfortable with baby care and meet their needs. Thankfully we had already been through this so we felt more confident on our own but I could not imagine how it would feel to do this for the first time at St Joes.

Had such a wonderful experience delivering my first child at St Joseph’s. I was so impressed by how attentive and kind every single staff member was. The entire process was seamless. Big shout out to my labor and delivery team , especially my nurse Emily who never left my side. Dr. Reichman is an outstanding OB physician and we are so thankful for her thoroughness and expertise. Another thank you to the amazing nurses on the mom and baby floor for making postpartum care a bit easier. Thank you so much for good first time experience!

My experience was amazing, I was all alone delivering my baby by myself with no family or friends around. However, because of the attentive care of the staff of ST Joseph’s Women’s Hospital I felt nothing but love and total support in my journey. My nursing staff was amazing and made me feel like a priority, they listened to my needs and went above and beyond to make sure I knew I wasn’t completely alone in my journey. I appreciate the entire staff so much and could not imagine delivering my baby anywhere else.

I just had my baby on July 20th and had an absolute wonderful experience! Every single nurse, tech, and doctor I saw was so kind and caring it made everything so much less stressful and more memorable. The amount of care and compassion I was shown in labor and delivery and mother/infant care was amazing. I cannot say enough about the staff of this hospital, they are all simply wonderful and definitely working in the right career field.

Dr Williams is by far the worse Dr I’ve ever encountered. I’ve never had an experience with such a careless nonchalant have no consideration of a dr in my life. I went in 4 cm dilated with excruciating pain ( third baby) she never came to my bed side she kept sending the nurse to speak with me. The charge nurse also came to speak with me because she decided she was going to send me home. After about 45 mins she comes in to check my cervix. Hiding behind the charge nurse she comes in asking what brings me in today? As if I’m not screaming loud enough due to my contractions. As a former Baycare employee I am ashamed with have drs like her. Will never come for care to this hospital after that awful experience. We drove 40 mins to st Joseph’s south and had our beautiful baby girl

I usually don't write reviews, however our experience at St. Joseph's Women's was a great experience for my wife and I. This was our first child and the medical staff at this hospital went above and beyond our expectations. They answered every question throughout the entire process and were always there with a smile. We checked into the Hospital on Friday at 11:30 A.M. and we left on Monday around 2:30 P.M. From the start of labor through the end of getting discharged, it was truly a great experience. I would like to give a shout out to a few staff members that made our experience that much better and were truly professionals! (We couldn't remember every staff member that had helped us, so sorry if we didn't mention you) But a big thank you to: Dr. Jennifer Sanchez Russell RN - Shelby - Triage RN - Courtney - Triage RN - Brenda - 3rd FL RN - Kelsey - 3rd FL Again, I cant stress enough how great the staff acted towards my wife and my child (Jaxon). Even though we had some minor complications, the staff always had my wife and child's best interest in mind. Thank you!!!!

Extremely disappointing that every OBGYN affiliated with this hospital does not take Medicaid. I was really hoping to have my baby here but I guess I'll have to look elsewhere. I've never heard of an entire hospital with hundreds of Dr.s all decide not to help people with lower income. Incredible.

My wife recently had a radical hysterectomy here. Their “policy” is that the patient can designate a loved one to join them in the recovery room. I told her “see you in a couple of hours” to ease her worry when they wheeled her back to the OR. What they didn’t say was that it was at the whim of the person in charge of the recovery room. During this 2.5 hour period, as my wife wondered why I wasn't with her, I repeatedly requested to see her and was finally told by the nurse in charge that I couldn’t come back there because "we have other patients in here.” They moved her to her hospital room 30 minutes before shift change. When I joined her she was in considerable pain (unsurprising as she’d just had all of her reproductive organs carved out through a 9 inch incision in her abdomen). When I asked the nurse about getting her pain medication she replied that it would be 30 minutes before they could do so (ie, when the next shift came on). When I complained she replied that it was because “they rushed her up here during shift change because you wanted to see her.” Apparently she was unhappy about having a new patient dumped on her while she was getting ready to leave. Fortunately my reaction to this must have worried her as she returned fifteen minutes later with a pill. When I asked her how long it would take for my wife to feel any relief from a pill taken orally she said “30 minutes to an hour”. So I sat next to my wife holding her hand and trying to comfort her as she suffered for the better part of an hour. Fortunately the nurse who came on next was in a better mood and administered stronger medication via her IV. I’ve been assured that both of these issues will be addressed. Maybe they will, who knows. One such issue I can excuse as an aberration. Two in the same day are indicative of a culture. There are signs in the hospital elevator in which they tout their creed, including “to reduce suffering”. They should add “when it’s convenient.”

My entire birthing experience was wonderful at St. Joseph’s Women’s Hospital. The L&D nurses were extremely calming and accommodating, my anesthesiologist Tunde was wonderful during my procedure, and when I finally got to the maternity ward there were so many nurses that helped us through the first few days with the baby. Jela, Stephanie, and Elena by far provided exceptional care and expertise while they were assigned to care for me. Not to mention the serene environment they created, I can not thank them enough. I also wanted to mention Su who provided cleaning service to my room. She was incredibly nice, quick, and her cleaning was on point. Everything was truly wonderful!

On my last 2 days at the hospital, there’s a nurse assigned to me named “Susan / Susie”. She’s middle aged, black hair, wears glasses. Out of all the nurses, she’s been a complete opposite of what the others have been to me, my baby and my husband + his family. She has not been kind and seemed very standoffish. She also have denied a lot of my requests and questioned my needs throughout my stay in her shift. Everyone in the room says the same thing (my husband and his family noticed too). She also missed giving me my prescribed medicine and had to call in for them to be given to me, and when she did, it was very late and was not full dosage. Overall, she has made my stay awful - as I would have appreciated leaving the hospital feeling the care of the staff there. Other nurses assigned to me and staff that tended to my needs were awesome. This lady nurse that I’m talking about was rude, stingy, seems discriminatory and I believe should not be assigned to mom/baby rooms.

Our experience with our scheduled c-section was excellent from start to finish. Every single person we interacted with from pre-op to post-op and beyond was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable every step of the way. Extra recognition to the nursing staff - especially Amber - on the maternity floor. They were all incredible, skilled, and obviously love doing what they do. Plus a side note, the food was amazing. We have nothing but amazing things to say about our experience at St. Joseph's Women's Hospital.

I want to yell it from the highest mountain the 10/10 service I received from you guys from registration to L&D to mommy and baby!! I must say the care I received was excellent and it’s not easy saying that nowadays. Lauren (charge nurse) in labor and delivery was so reassuring when I had to get a c section, she literally stayed by my side and wiped my tear. The whole surgery team was so loving and care throughout the procedure. They immediately introduced themselves when in rolled into the ER. Just marvelous. Paul that took care of me in recovery thereafter was awesome, making sure I was comfortable and well taken care of, he follow the task all the way threw. I am thankful. Now those superstars I was passed off too in mommy and me showed up and showed out. Brittany you’re absolutely amazing at what you do, Danielle you did an outstanding loving job and I am grateful for you ladies. St. Joe’s Womens I recommend to the World of Women needing care. My family and I were cared for my whole stay and I couldn’t thank you ALL enough, forgive me I know I forgot names. But from the bottom of my heart thank you. This scary experience was turned into a beautiful one thanks to all your staff! You guys are great at what you do. Please don’t change. Stay blessed

I had a repeat csection. My postpartum stay was so much better than my last stay. My night nurse, Susan, was amazing. She was so attentive and supportive. She managed my pain and itching and gave me back my freedom from all the lines. Melanie was my day nurse was also very nice.

The St Josephs team provided excellent care from start to finish. Kayla in pre op was awesome, very patient and caring. The anesthesia team was outstanding. Morgan and Dr Gruber were a perfect team, taking good care of me. Stephanie with respiratory therapy took great care of our baby immediately after birth. Our mother-baby nurses (Victoria D, Lauren, Amber) and techs (Tamara and Vicanna) were so kind and helpful during our entire stay. We had a pleasant experience, with nothing but joyful memories.

I cannot praise the staff and providers enough. I came in because urgent care thought I was showing signs of preeclampsia, the staff and providers assured me I was fine and he even prescribed me a zpack to help with my sinus infection. They made me feel comfortable about taking medications to alleviate my symptoms.

Exceeded all my expectations!! I loved the nurses and staff, the customer service was exceptional! The level of care that your nurses and doctors put in really should be a standard more hospitals adopt! Despite have a rough delivery, the postpartum care made me want to have another baby. Every single nurse, doctor, tech, and person that helped us during delivery or came into our room was so incredibly wonderful. I wish I could name all of them individually, but it speaks volumes that the team was so consistent person to person, regardless of time of day or area of the hospital. We are so grateful for the team and service through St Joe’s Womens!

I was super nervous as it had been quite a while since my last mammogram. However, from the moment I signed in to the moment I walked out the door, everyone made me feel comfortable and at ease. The atmosphere of the lobby is serene and welcoming, the receptionists were friendly and accommodating, the tech was helpful and concerned about my comfort and experience. Thank you. I will be back as well as tell anyone who needs a mammogram to absolutely go to Women's Hospital for their test. Fantastic experience.

I've been asking my doctor for months to update my due date to the correct one and the on call doctor here took the extra steps to get me my earliest ultrasound report and I was finally able to get it corrected with my OB. I love this hospital and I'm always happy with them!

Great care all around! Had surgery this morning and Nurse Jalin kept me in good spirits as he helped prepare me for surgery. Also a big thanks to nurses Gene Marie, Cheryl and the support technician Stacey M. In the recovery room! These ladies took really great care of me and they are all very genuine people! Thank you so much for the great care and service!! This is the second surgery I’ve had at this hospital and both have been great experiences/care.

I had 3 visits to St. Joseph's Women's Triage over the course of a week. Every single person that I encountered was efficient, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. As a healthcare worker myself I understand the difficulties that come with the job but your Triage staff makes it seem effortless. Dr. Williams, Dr. Lee, Monica, Conner, Denise, Connie and Sofia were comforting for me during my difficulty time, knowledgeable to help me make the best decisions moving forward and overall the highest standard of professionalism with an empathetic disposition that is unmatched by other healthcare experiences I have had. Thank you for great care. I hope I am not back under the circumstances I had before but I will recommend this triage to anyone going through my same issues.

This hospital is great when it comes to your care. Their billing department though? Absolute TRASH. I have two insurances, and according to my benefits I should’ve paid almost next to nothing for giving birth. But, even if a mistake was made, my deductible with my primary insurance is $5,000. These people were trying to charge me $24,000 for giving birth last April. I spoke with my insurance and they said they had paid the claim. These scammers kept saying they never received the payment. It was a bunch of back and forth. You know how billing companies and insurances are. I was getting no where , so I thought to myself, well I’ll just apply for financial assistance because I’ll definitely be approved. Who has $24,000 just laying around? So I applied, and each time I called to check status they said it hadn’t been reviewed yet because they have so many applications, it’s backed up, etc. Keep checking back they said. Meanwhile, I was making payments on the bill every month to avoid collections, and they said they would refund me my money once I was approved for the financial assistance. Oh, and btw, they also said I didn’t have to make monthly payments and that I wouldn’t be sent to collections, but I insisted for my own peace of mind. GUESS WHO GOT SENT TO COLLECTIONS! Meeeeeeee. Like how is that even allowed???? My application was pending and I was making payments. So ridiculous. I would rather give birth in the woods next time than at St Joseph’s just to simply avoid dealing with their atrocious billing department. They literally try to scam you and then send you to collections when you can’t afford $24,000 that you shouldn’t even be paying in the first place !! I would leave 0 stars if I could .

Kelsey & Erin in Labor & Delivery are absolutely amazing! They listened to us & helped us through the process of the first few days after we welcomed our boy to the world! They are so kind and knowledgeable. They made our stay at St. Joes Women’s a wonderful experience.

All was excellent. I loved the staff from the moment I walked in and was checked in. So friendly and caring. Even though it was an out-patient procedure I still felt very cared for by all the nurses and doctors. Thank you St. Joseph's Women's Hospital for taking such great care of me while I was there. You guys are great!!!

Dr Jessica Kennard performed my hysterectomy here and everything was explained thoroughly to me bye herself & the staff. From my entrance into the Lobby both Rep Carol & her trainee Gwen were very friendly & accommodating. Carol's demeanor when training her to use the computer system was great & pleasant even while trying to assist me to get checked in. The nurses were very friendly & had an excellent bedside manor. When my first nurse couldn't access my vein for an IV, she didn't treat me like a pin cushion or go fishing to find a vein (to be clear, I am not on easy stick & have a lot of scar tissue) but she called in Nurse Carole(?) who was also super pleasant & brought in warm blankets to put my arms in so my veins would respond better, which they did & she got one on the first stick! While signing forms I needed clarification on the type of cell saver listed on my form as I don't accept blood transfusions. The nurse called in Anesthesiologist Visual to assist me & even though he wasn't my actual Anesthesia Dr he helped me understand what I needed to know. Soon after that, Anesthesia Dr Elias, also not my actual Anesthesiologist came in to check to see how I was & see if I had any other questions. He was very friendly & also had a good bedside manor. Dr. Van(?) who was the actual Anesthesiologist also met with me & reviewed my file with me, again checked to be sure I understood everything that was going to happen with my surgery. I truly appreciate both the respect & kindness I was shown by everyone. It was some of the best customer service I've ever received at a hospital. I had both my babies there 27 years ago & the service was great then too! This speaks very well of the type of training the Hospital puts into its employees. Thanks to all the staff who helped me before, during & after surgery. You guys are great!

My sister had surgery here yesterday and it was truly the best medical experience we’ve ever had. She was so nervous (as was our family) but the people truly made us so comfortable. Kristin, her nurse, was fantastic - funny, but very informative and calming. Everyone, from the security guard when we entered, to the team that was with her in the OR, to the omelette chef, to the nurse in the recovery room was wonderful. Thank you all for your patience and kindness!

My experience was absolutely amazing, despite the appt being for a mammogram. Every single staff was professional, friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable! During my intake we laughed and the staff went above and beyond to assist me. The staff that performed my procedure engaged me in a pleasant conversation, before I realized it I was done! Keep up the great work!

In addition to the level of care received from day one after delivery. Our final nurse Joann was phenomenal. She offered a lot of practical advice for a panicky first time mom like myself. She comforted me when I got emotional and truly cared about my concerns for my little one. She thoroughly examined him and put my mind at ease. In addition, a note to all the first time moms who have yet to pick a pediatrician, the in house pediatric care given by Dr. Kentate was second to none. She addressed one of my small concerns with urgency. Her thoroughness also led to a discovery of a second issue which he is receiving care for now. Thank you to all the Baycare staff who helped make my transition to motherhood smooth as possible.

Every staff member was amazing - from the receptionist who greeted us when we checked in, to the doctors and nurses who cared for me. Everyone was very kind, and genuinely concerned about my well-being. Any time I needed anything at all, they were right there to care for me. Having a mastectomy could have been a very traumatic experience, but everyone at St. Joseph's Women's hospital made it bearable.

Labor and delivery nurse Stephanie was an absolute pleasure and made my entire labor experience so good. The whole staff downstairs was completely nice. Also, shoutout to two special ladies, Lashawn (nurse in triage) and tech Nicole in Triage. They were so helpful to me and made my 2 days stay really comfortable. These three ladies were so personable, super helpful, knowledgeable and overall hard workers that deserve all the praise. Postpartum is such a vulnerable time, never have I ever dealt with such people who made me feel safe, comfortable and cared for. Thank you for a wonderful day experience after the birth of my second son! I will never forget you three

I’m very satisfied with my overall birthing experience. All of the staff was very comforting and friendly and took great care of me. I had no support partner so the staff during my surgery was very supportive and sweet. Dr. Marks did a great job during my surgery and made sure my baby and I were both stayed healthy during the birth with the help of her team as well. They made sure after my c section that my pain level was low as can be. They informed me of everything and made sure I was always comfortable. The food was also delicious after not being able to eat for a bit. All my nurses and techs were amazing. Everyone down to room service, housekeeping, photography, case management, lactation etc was just super kind and helpful. The nurses and techs always wheeled me down to the nicu to see baby if I couldn’t walk anymore and The nicu staff was excellent as well and took great care of my baby during her stay and didn’t get annoyed with me calling to check on my baby a bunch of times. They even made me some first footprints to put in her photo album. They also had the angel eye camera system which made me very comfortable during a tough situation. The donor breast milk they gave my baby was great because I wanted to start breastfeeding her but couldn’t make any milk yet at the time. I’m so thankful for all of the staff and resources at Joseph’s women's hospital has and if I could go back and have my first born child here I so would! Wonderful experience.

Today I needed to get some blood work done and an X-ray. Last year I had a bad experience with my mom being here( at the main hospital) But we have found it’s just certain people that do their job with compassion, and others do it for the pay check. The check-in lady at the imaging center across the street, was very sweet and accommodating because I was a walk-in. I was able to get everything done within a reasonable timeframe and the nurse that took my blood was also very sweet. Unfortunately, the only name I was able to get was the x-ray technician and her name was Robin. She also was very sweet and accommodating. Loving your job and not just working for a paycheck can be a world of difference. Thankfully my experience this time around was great.

I had a wonderful delivery with my baby girl!! Not to mention I already knew this was THE PLACE to have your baby seeing my husband and I were both born at this hospital 35 years ago! The knowledge, experience, talent, and care given by the doctors, nurses, and staff was remarkable! The only recommendation I want to offer is the baby wipes for diaper changes were very inconvenient and frustrating to use at times seeing they are dry wipes you have to wet yourself.
