Bagels are great… Customer service is not. The long-haired guy running the cash register really needs a spoonful of sugar and an attitude adjustment… It’s just bagels dude, you don’t have to take it, so seriously. He literally threw my bagels in the bag which is kind of gross because an everything bagel next to a cinnamon raisin bagel isn’t the best flavor profile. Also wanted to charge me for each bagel and cream cheese individually instead of recommending the half dozen deal… I happened to look up at the menu board when I thought the total was a bit high and I asked him why didn’t he just recommend getting six bagels for less than I was paying for the five… He said “well some people get upset with me and say they only wanted five bagels” ok, well I don’t know who likes paying more for less but I do not - a simple recommendation would have been appreciated. Good thing there’s a new location going up closer to my house. I won’t go back here again.

I've eaten at this Einstein for years and the quality has had a precipitous fall off on the last year. While prices have gone up, the quality of the bagels has fallen. I typically order a bagel with cream cheese and it costs $4+ I stopped going for several months as I had several consecutively poor experiences. The bagel was dry and there was barely a scraping of cream cheese. Today, I was in the area waiting for an appointment and decided to give them another shot to see if maybe they'd turned things around. Nope. This is more cream cheese than before but it still doesn't even cover half of the bagel. Next time I have to wait for an appointment, I'll just hang out in the parking lot!

I have never seen a more consistently terrible restaurant than this Einstein. Used to be great but now every single time I go it’s a bad experience. Either they’re out of bagels, out of cream cheese, not taking orders in the drive thru, handing you someone else’s food, giving you the wrong drink, it’s just consistently awful. The exterior is worn and needs a refresh. The bathrooms are always disgusting and smelly. Really wish the management could get their act together, train their employees and start having happy customers. Today alone while I was waiting after receiving the wrong food the same thing happened to another two parties separate from me. One poor guy got the wrong thing twice! I just don’t understand how a place can be so consistently bad. I will no longer be coming here.

Food is good as expected from a national chain. I was surprised at the good quality of service from The Young employees. This is a breath of fresh air as most national chain fast food restaurants have young employees with a I don't give a $#!+ attitudes. The dining room is definitely ready for a makeover. That did not stop me from enjoying my meal. thank you.

I walked in with a group of 4 from Canada and have never had an experience like this before. From the moment I walked in, my man Kevin showed us passion, patience and great hospitality. I ordered the Texas brisket first, and decided on the chorizo sunrise 5 minutes after. Before I even fully decided, he had my brisket ready for me to eat while I was deciding on my second option… made my day! The bagels were fantastic and nutritional. We all really enjoyed our food and were blown away. Highly recommend this spot, and thank you for your service Kevin 🙌🏽

Went in the drive thru with an online order that I had made. Then talked to the person at the speaker and they told me to pull up to the thank you sign. I waited a total of 30 minutes. Then went inside and they were calling my name out. I grabbed my hot chocolate and my food and everything was cold. I then proceeded to let the worker know my issue on how long I waited and she handed me a lousy free sandwhich card…. But as I was standing there when she said she would be right back to give me something, the associates in the back were talking about how I ordered so last minute. And me and the 3 customers next to me heard their entire conversation. Very embarrassing to say the least. I have been coming to Einstein since I was a little girl. This location as well. Also only received only part of my order. I don’t think I’ll ever be returning after this terrible service. Yall should be ashamed of your employees!! Customers should always have the upper hand in every situation.

Place was reasonably clean. Cashier was exceptionally friendly. Food was what you would expect from Einstein bagels

I love Einstein bagels, but this place is so slow. Even when placing an online mobile order, you’re still going to wait at least 40 minutes to get a bagel. Both my orders were supposed to come with chips. No chips came in the bag. My nova lox bagel did not have capers as advertised. Overall not worth $18 for two bagels.

UPDATE - I have yet to hear from anyone. Next stop Florida AG’a office, Ms Moody. I ordered through the app to pick up. I called in to say I was at curbside. The guy who answered took my name and put the phone down without hanging up. 20 minutes goes by. The entire long drive through line was helped. I hung up and called back and a guy with a headset came out and said he had just made my drink. The food was ice cold and requested a new order but it only seemed to confuse him. I told him I paid for hot food and all he could say is it was busy. Needless to say They got my money but I did not get my order. I put in for a refund online and still have not heard back from anyone. Can’t say I’m surprised. I guess I’ll put in a claim with my bank since they are incapable. DO NOT USE THEIR ONLINE ORDERING SYSTEM. All they had to do was remake my order but dropped the ball. Wound up being a McDonalds breakfast that morning.

Questioned new pricing with rewards...$15 now instead of $13 for a dozen with 2 tubs of shmear. Drive-thru cashier (DT50055) followed through with a rude comment. I asked him if this was the way he should talk to a customer. He said "You should have believed me." I told him that his face was not familiar. Then, on my drive home, I discovered that he gave me the wrong box of bagels 😕

Einstein bagels offer a variety of bagel sandwiches as well as the traditional bagel and cream cheese. They always have prompt quick service and they do it with a smile. I’ve never delt with anyone who wasn’t polite. I did try the iced coffee and it wasn’t bad at all. I will definitely be back.

THIS PLACE SUCKS! I don't know what they are doing in the back but it sure as hell isn't working. Not once have I received a correct order and considering you have to wait forever to even get your messed up order it's a surprise they are even in business. The only thing that they always make sure to do is overcharge you ($8 for a spinach Swiss mushroom bagel with garlic herb smear) and don't even put the smear on it. I wish the owners of this place would actually care about customer satisfaction but apparently nobody gives a bagel.

Kevin is great- but whoever is in the kitchen is not making these bagels to quality standards. They used to cut the bagel in half so you could eat it?? I received a lukewarm bagel sandwich and I am not happy! I literally went home and had to toast my bagel because it was cold. Quality of food preparation has gone way down!! Kevin has great customer service and is too good to be working with mediocre coworkers making subpar bagel sandwiches!!

Never thought I’d leave a review of an Einstein’s but the customer service here is so good I just felt like I had to. Every time I’ve been through the drive thru, someone has greeted me with an exceptionally positive “good morning!” and once even “good morning sunshine!” I just honestly wanted to give them a shout out for being so cheerful so early in the morning. Really nice staff.

Einstein you were are fav, but honestly the bagels are dull and the morning blend coffee was tepid. But worse, why don’t you clean your building? Moving on…

I forgot to write a review but I went yesterday and omg the new burrito was bussing and so was the coffee. The bagels where soft and it was perfectly cooked. Also the service was amazing and outstanding. I found a new hangout place

Great service. Good location. Definitely fell in love with Einstein bros on my vacation and had to stop by before coming back home. This one isn’t as packed as the one on S dale mabry so i liked it a lot more and it has drive thru ! The chairs outside were nicer than the other locations and the overall atmosphere.

They took forever to get my order to me, which I do not mind. It's loud as heck in there so I thought he did say my name, and I even repeated my name back to him. The employee hands me the wrong order, I get outside in my car and open it. I go back in to have it corrected, and the employee placed blame on me for taking the wrong order. I was shocked that he was being rude to me, and I asked them politely if they could re-make the order that had been sitting there getting cold for me. They said yes, but when I got it, it was ice cold. I took a bite and it wasn't even toasted. It tasted disgusting too.

Great food and even better customer service. Luis took our order, wow what a great experience. Very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back when in the area.

Poppy seed bagels hardly have any Poppy seeds on them (see pic). It's like I'm eating a plain bagel. I didn't pay extra for Poppy seed just to eat a plain bagel. This has been a problem for some time now.

Decided to finally try this place out. Ordered a Tasty Turkey Sandwich and was pleased with its...er...tastiness. Comes with Vicki's BBQ or Sea Salt potato chips and a pickle slice. There was a bit of a line at the drive-thru, but it moved rather quickly. I think there was an issue with either the microphone at the order site or the employee's headset was malfunctioning, as some of the other customers in line seemed to be having great difficulty getting their order across. All I had to do was speak up, and the employee had absolutely no issue hearing me. Employee at the window was a delight. Asked a couple questions to make sure my order was just right, and off I went. Would definitely come back.

I'm a fan of the Chain, just not this location. As a former manager for Einsteins I'm very disappointed in how poorly run this store has been on the different occasions my family and I have dealt with them. I visited via drive thru during the morning rush so I expected a line, however a 30 min line to order is well below any standard. Once we got to the window it was apparent they were severely short staffed........appeared to have two people on staff. One taking orders for both the inside and drive thru and one making orders for both. I'm a believer that you treat everyone with respect no matter the circumstances so I said nothing in regards to how they were operating. I ordered a lox and bagel. I asked for my bagel toasted, I asked for onion chive cream cheese, and I asked for extra lox (2 pieces). From all other Einsteins, the to-go order for lox and bagel comes in a flat box so it is served open face just as it should be in the restaurant. I was handed my order wrapped like a sandwich, so I opened it immediately thinking it was the wrong order. It was in fact "my" lox and bagel, however, the bagel was not toasted, it had plain cream cheese, and it did not have the full order of the extra lox that I paid for. The young man working the window (taking) orders immediately corrected the lack of the extra lox, but I did not want to hold the line any longer than needed so I did not ask for the order to be remade the way I asked for it nor did I ask for the proper packaging. I've just resolved that this would be my last visit to this particular location. While this is not the first time I've had issues with orders at this location, this is the first I'm writing about it and the last time I'll visit.

First time I ever tried nova lox bagel was here and while very different from my usual breakfast choices, it was very good and my tummy was happy for the healthy choice. Great place to stop by if in the area.

Don’t ever go here unless manager Kevin is working. Every time I’ve gone when a different manager is in charge, my order is always wrong and it takes them about 3 times to get something very simple right while employees act either clueless, condescending or disengaged. I’ve been handed uncooked bacon sandwiches, hot drinks in cold drink cups with no lid, cold bagels, you name it. One time a girl working there even turned the lights out on us without giving us warning they close at 2pm. I would absolutely give a 5 star review for how smoothly things operate and how delicious the food is under Kevin’s management but unfortunately any other time it is so bad that it is worth dropping this to a 1 star.

Had a great experience here at this location and the customer service was excellent. Not only with me but I was working inside here for a little bit and just hearing how Gabriel and the other associates were treating the customers and it was excellent service. Gabriels work ethic was great and he was constantly doing something. The girl he was working with also had great work ethic

This store used to be nice. I like the new layout and cozy fireplace unfortunately all that gets lost because this place is filthy. Dust, crumbs, and dirt everywhere floors, countertops, pay monitors you name it. And on top flooded bathroom.

  • 1/5 Ashley T. 1 year ago on Google
I’ve always trusted Einstein to have consistent service and quality but this time it was an unfortunate, sub par experience. Our order received was incorrect. We got half of our order, once we got the other half it was incorrect and didn’t even get the correct items. The nova lox they just gave us only had cream cheese it didn’t even include the salmon itself. A bagel with plain cream cheese came with strawberry cream cheese instead and lastly the bacon egg and cheese bagel came without bacon. If I hadn’t triple checked our order we wouldn’t have gotten what we ordered. Very unpleasant experience.

The food and coffee were excellent.. friendly service. After you order there is no real great place to wait and if you go outside for seating you cannot hear your name called when your order is ready is my only complaint.

This has to be one of the dirtiest restaurants in Tampa. I should have know when I got of the truck. The planter next to the front door was nasty. The door was dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned in awhile. The floors had build up around the corners and the counters were dirty. The cashier was not very friendly. He never ever moved from where he was stand at the register. I watched the person in the back grab the food with bare hands ( not that gloves do any good if you don’t change the and wash your hands) No one was wearing a hat and never seen anyone wash their hands. The bagel barely had any smear (as the call their cream cheese) on it. I think the health department is missing a lot when they inspect

For a Saturday morning i was looking for a place near me to have coffee and bagel. I decided to have coffee and bagel from Einstein Bros Bagels. It is a small restaurant with an ample of parking and seating spaces. After browsing through the menu I decided to order Coffee and Egg Bagel. The coffee was hot and freshly brewed. The bagel was also delicious and tasty. Loved the morning coffee and bagel.

The bearded man working the drive thru has always been super nice! Been coming for a couple years here and there. Bagels are always good and coffee even better.

Opened up our box of bagels and it was full of ants. Completely teeming with ants. We ordered through DoorDash even though we live four minutes from the store because we were trying to have a lazy Sunday. Did the ants come from the DoorDash delivery car in that short time? Or from a dirty kitchen? I called up to the store and the manager, Kevin, was dismissive and completely uninterested in helping to resolve the situation. He said it had to be the delivery car but our order arrived here in less than 7 minutes. He definitely did not seem concerned at all that it could be from his store. And I guess he’s okay with his product being delivered with bugs. We rarely go to this particular Einstein location because the customer service and wait times are always so bad but now we won’t even be ordering takeout from there. Now I have to get back to cleaning the ants in my kitchen. So much for a lazy Sunday.

Ok service isn’t what I would call it. Attitude is more like it! Could they spare the cream cheese! I asked and they said $1.69 for a little more. Cashier was a total NOT friendly service oriented person. She could honestly give a s@&$”€# This use to be my go to place. But has gone downhill over the past several visits. 0 customer service if I could give less than zero stars I would based on attitude and service alone! Total waste of $$$

30 minute drive thru wait. Counter guy was snarky when I ordered then asked me to "help a brother" and leave a tip. Bagel barely had any cream cheese. Definitely won't be going back

I don't know what's happening at the 10802 Dale Mabry location but if you check out these reviews this place is failing. I decided to give them one last shot and they confirmed that things are not getting better! Let's go over today's order! Breakfast sandwich with bacon egg and cheese; the bacon is absolutely raw! Chocolate chip bagel with smear; received raisin bagel with no cream cheese. Hash brown; missing from order. Ordered large orange juice in a cup for $4.49; received a bottle of Simply Orange and I did not receive a credit for the substitute. Literally every single item was either wrong or missing. I know one of the Google map reviews states that if the manager Kevin is working it is the only time he will go there. Ironically Kevin was working today. This location needs help! Never returning!
