Borrell Park

Park

😠 Not at all child friendly. Would rate 0 stars if I could. I was going to take my son here until I saw some very poor sanitary choices. Poop smeared on slides, and yes people... Used needles! Do not go to the gazebo... It's even worse than the actual "playground" People often mention park, homeless, people,

A lot of homeless people live, or hang out at this park. I volunteered to help with feeding and clothing the homeless for Christmas. I believe this organization goes out the last Sunday of each month from 2-4pm or until everything is gone. The park is very well kept. I don't recall an actual playground, but I wasn't looking so I could be mistaken.

I feed the ladies and gentlemen of the park a few times a month. The park is not a place for kids. If u don't know the area, then I do not recommend. I do recommend making taking some of them some water maybe a sandwhich or whatever u can. I do what I can on my own, but the need is so much greater ♡

Our organization feeds here regularly. It is a place where broken souls are in abundance! Many have given up on life, feel hopeless and abandoned! Its an awesome place to share the love of Christ.

Fowler Park is also a nice park to go to mostly dog watchers like it cause it's so peaceful and quiet and shady and most of the joggers that jog Bayshore like it cuz it's accommodating for them to park and have easy access to a short to walk or jog or whatever have you I would definitely recommend to tell you but you're probably better get there early cuz parking is limited

The park itself is ok but we didn't see restrooms or water fountains. It's too hot not to have these things.

On Sundays they go religious, preach the word of God and help the homeless with food and hygiene, but there can be dangerous people there.

It was ok, I set a table for the community to give out some info and hygiene bags, if the people that hang out there keep it clean it would be better for vendors to come out and give some services, but it can be something there. God is good.
