I am giving 3 stars because the first time I visited this place the service was awesome. The girl was really friendly and gave me plenty of options based on what I wanted to get. This past weekend I stopped by and the service was a complete 180°. This guy was a bit condescending and rude. I wanted to create a 4pk and pay the 4pk cost. He responded in a rude tone saying that he does not why I would think I would get a 4pk cost and I needed to pay premium for each since I was breaking a 4pk. I get some places avoid this practice and I respect that. The thing is that I was told otherwise the first time I visited this location. I do not respect talking to a customer in a rude manner when clearly your establishment does not a clear set of rules. They went from selling 4 cans to just 2, and losing the repeat business. I really wish I wrote down his name. I went back because I was in the area and rjpyed their vibe, despite how much more expensive they are compared to my local place. I may try them again but will make sure that guy is not there that day.

Tried to buy a couple of bottles today for a family event but as others have noted, staff too busy chit chatting with their friends rather than helping new neighbors find good options. No wonder the bottles were dusty.

I’m a bit confused by the positive reviews. I stopped by tonight, found a couple of decent wines and seltzers (~$60), started to pay and the woman behind me asks about filling a growler. The guy at the counter stops in the middle of ringing me up and starts helping her with the growlers. Seriously, who does that? Anyway, there are plenty of nearby alternatives. Visit them instead.

Jug & Bottle Dept. on North Florida Avenue in Tampa is a great place to go for drinks and food in an unique and cool atmosphere. I really like the selection of different items that they have available here. The staff here is very friendly and knowledgeable and makes sure that you have everything that you need.

Owner is rude and has rules for his friends and homeless mules and then different rules for regular customers. Their selection can be found at any total wine or abc but theirs is a couple dollars more a bottle and their can prices are insane. Won't return. Ftp.

I took a family member into jug and bottle to find some wines that she can not find in California to add to her wine bar. She was ready to spend some money on monday evening but when she asked the guy on staff what the place was about he met us with a very dry response that they are a beer and wine bottle company that is attached to a vegan restaurant, so I mentioned that she was from out of town and was looking for maybe some local wines, he then responded with florida doesnt really make any wines. I just feel like he couldve been more helpful. We just got a unwelcomed feeling so we just left. Made me look bad because I had recommended to go there because I have picked up from the vegan restaurant and saw that I was a showhouse for wines and beers. So I said thanks for all your help as we left.

Great wine tasting events and I know anything I pick up from there is quality and painstakingly selected. I only wish that there were more? More ciders and beers. Way less king state beer, it doesn’t have to be on EVERY shelf

Enjoyed this local spot with a great selection of all types of locally brewed beers and wines. Great to explore new drinks without being too overwhelmed. Always grab a bite from 3 Dot Dash vegan spot located inside too!

Always looking for craft beer when I travel. Jug & Bottle did not disappoint. Nice selection of beer that can be bought by the can or bottle. I didn't notice any jugs.

I call this the good beer store. Love the selection, especially for local beers—boutique-y in the best way. This is our go-to place when we’re buying for a party or the holidays, and sometimes we take out-of-towners if they’re really into beer. It’s like a great small bookstore where there’s a lot that’s familiar but where there are also always new discoveries.

Great selection of beer and wine. I especially love that they carry the natural wines and the skin-contact wines. The staff is very knowledgeable and are always available to help select something to your specific taste.

The people at Jug are super sweet and helpful. They often do free wine tastings, have coffee popups with Now & Then which are killer, and Three Dot Dash is one of the best vegan spots in the bay!!

Honestly not that impressed with the beer selection, it's small and very overpriced. There's a few 12oz cans for $3 but most single beers are $5-9 each! At that point you might as well just go to one of the many local breweries. I'll stick with my corner store that has over 50 craft beers you can mix and match a 6-pack for $12.99

My youngest brother recommended this spot for me. Who knew that he was into beers like his big brother? It was very close to the Air Bnb we were renting so the drive was less thant 5 minutes. I walked in and the staff were friendly and treated me like someone they knew very well. They have a great beer and wine selection. I didn't know they had a vegan restaurant. I was only in town for a few days and was unable to make it back. I was sad about that. I picked out an IPA and a Mead for the ladies. My family enjoyed the selection. However, EVERY time I visit Tampa, I shall visit this little spot.

A global selection of beer and wine arranged in a very cool up beat atmosphere. Great staff that is very knowledgeable about every label they stock. And if you are hungry 3 Dot Dash take out is located inside which is amazing vegan food.

The best bottle shop in Tampa. Highly knowledgable and friendly staff, excellent selection not found anywhere else, and 3 dot dash. Best non-alcoholic options around as well (including Athletic Brewing), and a great sake selection. So great I have to limit my visits, because I can't leave without a case of something. Visit if you can.

This is a great fast vegan food option for us when we come to busch gardens and adventure islands. It's about 10 mins away so we use the take away option on our way to or from the parks. Food is tasty and lots of options.

Great little place to pick up bottles/cans or have a draft beer. You can drink a canned beer on site for a small fee. I wish they offered wifi though, I would hang out and work on the patio more often.
