My wife and I went to see the Fever Adele Candlelight concert last night. We were at this theater a few months ago to see a different Candlelight concert (classic rock). It’s a nice, small classic theater, and it has free parking. I really like it. The theater is a little old. It is very comfortable though.

We saw the Coldplay Candle light concert here on a late friday show. It was an extremely beautiful and historical venue, we got there an hour before the show, there was plenty of parking in overflow parking lot. People were lined up to the entrance before they opened the gates about 45 mins before the show. We were seated in zone C which is upstairs, they have it on their website but reminder that this is not an ADA complaint venue. When we got upstairs there was a bar you can buy drinks from, no food unfortunately, and they had open seating so if you come early you have better luck finding good seats. Don't bother with some of the center seats towards the left or right because your field of view will be blocked by theater lights or screens they have. That was our only qualm with seats, but you get what you pay for since it's zone C. If you are the first 4 to enter, there are about 4 seats in the center block towards the left side that had the best view. We were a little disappointed in the crowd on our particular show who were moving around a lot and talking throughout, if you decide to go, please for other people wanting to enjoy the show have some basic etiquettes to be decent theater audience. The show in itself was fantastic, it ran for about 65 mins and it was nice that they allowed photos for the last song, and an additional surprise song.

Great place to have an event. We had our traditional Nigerian engagement here and it was a great experience from top to bottom. Maggie helped make sure our event was amazing. She was super flexible and it was a one of a kind day. The Grand-ballroom is beautiful. I’d recommend this place for events 10/10 times. Thanks again Maggie!

We went to the candlelight ballet. It was absolutely beautiful with all the candles everywhere and we had a great time. The violins and cello sounded amazing and the ballerinas brought back so many memories of my years in ballet. The seats were perfect and the parking was well organized. The venue didn't price gouge like other places so. We will definitely go again! Highly suggesting others to go to this event or others that Fever/Candlelight Concerts puts on.

Went to see FEVER from Bach to Beatles in the theater, it was wonderful. The atmosphere was romantic and beautiful with the candle light. The building was historic and the ballroom looked lovely. Free parking in the buildings parking lot. Masks were mandatory but it was not enforced.

Attended the Candle light tribute to Cold Play . It was an awesome show. Not a bad seat in the house. Very intimate setting. Perfect for a date night

I have been to many Candle Light Concerts. First time at Centro Asturiano de Tampa. I loved this venue so much! You can feel the history of time throughout! The performance was Amazing! The interpretation of Coldplay’s music into a string quartet arrangement was spot on! The only thing missing, was Nymphs and Fairies dancing between the candle sticks! You can only control so much. 😂 These performances that expose modern music to the virtuosity of string music arrangements, births a new generation to the purity of classical music!!!

Beautiful venue. Lovely ceremony site in the theater and the ballroom is fabulous. There are also several other rooms available for different sizes and style events.

Very cool old building with a deep Ybor City history. Be sure to take a walk around the inside and read the information about the history and how it ties in to the Cuban community

Beautiful venue, with a gated parking lot (made it a lot easier to access) and a lot of history. We were in the theatre for a candlelight concert and the ambience was amazing.

The most beautiful authentic theatre for a concert. GIAN MARCO, peruvian songwriter and singer, was one of the best entertainers I have ever seen.

This is a beautiful, historic theater. We seen a candlight concert tonight on our anniversary. It was incredible. The seats are a little uncomfortable but it is a beautiful theater.

A truly wonderful experience! I loved it so much! The music was amazing and the atmosphere created by the candles made for a beautiful evening. I only wish the performance would’ve been longer. 60 minutes is not enough, I believe it should be at least a 90 minute show. Otherwise an absolute must do!

Was there for a meeting for DPR construction a town hall with some of the top level people wanting to know what was going on in the field and any other questions we had passing the mic around good informative Town Hall meeting. Some of the top level people address the concerns that we all had and are looking into others a very productive meeting. They catered in some food from LivyO's Catering Company for us. The food was delicious if I have an event I will definitely remember the catering company thanks DPR construction for a very good Town Hall.

Took my sister to the Candlelight Concert Taylor Swift Tribute for her Christmas present. The venue, musicians, everything about the night was magical! It was wonderful! We will definitely look for other concerts to attend. Thank you so much!

This was a fabulous show, the musicians were wonderful and the venue and ambiance were as well! We went to the 9pm show, which was a perfect ending after a nice dinner in Ybor. We really enjoyed the evening!

My son and I had a magnificent time. This was one of my son’s first concert experience. The quartet was amazing! The atmosphere is out of this world. We loved it so much we are going back for more.

The wife and I had a blast! We went to see La Secta All Stars who totally rocked out. The bar was inconveniently on the second floor and the seats are tight and made of hard wood, but the music was so great it didn't matter. The place is beautiful & you can feel the history with its grand architecture. We loved the place. Not a huge venue, but we sure made it seem like one; Puerto Ricans are loud🤣🇵🇷💪🏽

If these walls could talk! My abuela would bring me her & walk up these same stairs when I was a little girl. Almost in tears when I attended a surprise birthday party here & stood on those stairs again. I love they kept the original flooring in some areas.

The musicians were amazing! Taking ColdPlay songs and making them classical yet modern. The venue was intimate.

Seats are small and uncomfortable and there are these little wire cup holders at calf level which are a tripping hazard. Other than that we enjoyed the concert.

Attended a Latin Rock concert with the Puertorican band, La Secta Allstar. The venue was small but unique due to the historical site. Wish the seats were more comfortable and A/C worked better for the event. Overall though, had a great time cuz of La Secta!

What an elegant historic building. I've been to Centro Asturiano several times for different events and each time I notice a unique feature. The building was recently updated and it's absolutely impressive. From the intricate woodwork to the elegant chandeliers. The Centro Asturiano is sure to impress. I have attended several High Tea parties that were sponsored by local organizations and put together by those that attended. Each one was a wonderful experience and something I look forward to in the future. My most recent visit I was invited to participate in an evening of Drag Queen Bingo. It was absolutely hilarious and a fun filled way to spend time. My only complaint was the fact that the event was scheduled from 7pm to 10pm and we were completely finished by 8:15. I don't think it had anything to do with the planning of the Centro Asturiano, I believe it was the entertainer/bingo caller/Drag Queen. However, a good time was had. I would most certainly recommend attending an event here and I think holding an event at the Centro Asturiano would be something neither you or your guests would soon forget.

Was there on 9/30 for a Flamenco performance. I unfortunately was in crutches and was nervous about going. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Jerome helped so much to make sure I made it safely down a short flight of stairs by the elevators and helped with the parking lot traffic so that I could get picked up by the door. I was so grateful for his help. I would not hesitate to attend another event here. It was very well organized.

This was the absolute best experience I’ve ever had. The musicians were insanely talented, so professional, so extra ordinary. So soothing for my soul, big shout out to the composers and musicians!! Such a top-notch experience

Breath-taking event venue. The building is a work of art there's plenty of parking, also a plus in Tampa. We were there for #candlelightconcert

Candlelight Concerts are top tier. Exceptional staff, especially Josh, who helped me find the best seats in the house! The musicians were phenomenal and serene. I would suggest if you have the time and in the area, come see you local musician in action. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The venue itself deserve 3.5 star but the candlelight concert is 2: gimmicky and dangerous. Light classical music mixed with pop, no sour notes, good. Lateness: their program is only an hour long but they’re 12 minutes late. No explanation. Is this normal for them? If so, what are they thinking??? They performed at Centro Asturiano de Tampa, which is a decent venue, with two levels. It’s general seating within the level. We’re on the top floor. Upon arrival, we were told that we can sit anywhere except the seats with candles, which are the front row, to prevent knocking down the freestanding candles. There isn’t light (or not enough light) – perhaps they think the candles provide enough light – I’ve to turn on my phone flashlight to see the steps. It makes me feel unsafe. Soon enough a young woman trapped as she was coming down to her seat, and broke her high heels. Half way thought the program, a couple sat by the front row was asked to leave. As the man got up, he knocked over a candle that almost fell to the floor below – could one image if that happened? Thanks heaven he was quick to catch it, otherwise someone below could get really hurt. WHAT are they thinking??? How many people do they need to turn on the candles? A male staff said, it’s about 7-9 people, 2-3 hours. Wish they’ve better way to do this.

This place was stunning! So historical and the architecture was amazing. The staff was also very sweet and knowledgeable on the building. The acoustics were surpsingly well for such an old building. Very easy to immerse into the performance. This would have gotten five stars but the seating was like sitting on a church piew - so rough. My only regret was not coming early to explore more of the building before the show.

This building was built in the late 1800's. Architecturally amazing. Ventured to the bar upstairs and sat in a ballroom that had been set up for a wedding previously. What a beautiful place to have any event of that nature. I experienced a Spanish guitarist performing in the theater. Acoustics were fantastic but the seats were a little narrow. I really enjoyed the experience.

The venue itself is beautiful but I went there for an event and the seating was not comfortable at all, hard seats, very small and cramped. Parking can be a bit of a mess, you park in a field not really organized took over half an hour to get out. Overall the experience at this venue was okay, a bit underwhelming tbh.

This building is more than 100 years old, but is in very good condition. The acoustics of the concert hall are also very good. My only complaint is about the seating. The seats are very narrow and the rows are spaced too close together. So the leg room is cramped. Seems like the seating was sized for junior high school students.

Attended a candlelight concert here. The theatre is beautiful, lots of architectural detail. There was an bar and it's own parking. Lots of historical photos to see. Beautiful place.

We went to see Candlelight Fever and the show was awesome. It gave us an opportunity to relax and enjoy after the busy lifestyles we have. We had a problem with our car and the security helped us out by providing his mobile phone so we could call the car assistance. It was a great evening.

The location is beautiful and easy to get to. However, if you are going to make everyone sign a waiver that they have to wear their masks inside and then allow 3/4 of the people to not wear their masks and only complain to a handful of them, you need to decide what you actually want. People who are visiting to do. Do. We understand that you all can't police it, but when we came in you were extremely strict and went over the mask policy several times and people would walk mere steps away and take their masks off for the majority of the night.

Historical theater with small seats but great ambiance! Walton Academy for the Preforming Arts used it for the Play Lion King Jr.
