I wish I could rate this place a zero or post pictures. The only thing nice about this place is the LED lighting on the car port. Upon entering this grand hotel. It reeks of mold. We get checked into our $102 room. No safety lock. My shoes were sticking to the tile as I walked across it. The comforter was delightfully spiked with blood. Lots of it. The walls next to the bed looked as if someone took and ran a marathon through the mud on them. The carpets had debris all over them. Cigarette burns in the comforters and the non smoking room smelled like an ashtray. The pot smell in the hallway was the least of my concerns We went down to front desk. He gave us another room right next door. The sticky floors greeted my shoes once again. First appearance looked better. I thought it could be manageable for a few hours sleep. The cigarette burns on the comforter wasn’t the most appealing. When peeling the comforter back the yellow stains on the sheets jumped at out right at me “surprise!”. The food all over the walls was something else. We went down stairs asked for a refund, front desk asked if we wanted to try another room. I’m not sure why I declined at this point….

This was the worst hotel experience we’ve had in a very long time. After driving 16 hours, we just wanted a place to comfortably sleep and shower before our cruise the next day. We arrived at 10pm. The check in seemed to go smooth even though the desk girl didn’t really know which way to direct us to our room. We found the room on the second floor back of the building. We unloaded the truck, hauled our stuff up the stairs, through a cloud of pot smoke coming from the room at the top, and proceeded to our room. UNBELIEVABLE… The room was already occupied! We quickly closed the door, loaded the truck and went back to the front desk. The girl apologized and gave us a different room card. Since my wife booked a smoking room, I verified that it was the same room type, and she said yes it was. After finding the new room and entering, this was not the case. It was a non-smoking room with 2 twin beds. We were too tired to complain. We just took off our shoes and did the nightly rituals to get ready for bed. That’s when we noticed that our socks were all black from walking around the tiled room. I don’t know what they use for mopping but it’s not clean water. The shower in the morning was the same. Soap residue and hair everywhere from the previous guests. This hotel also advertises a Continental Breakfast. When we checked out at 8am, there was nothing out there except burnt coffee and a small container of creamers. There was 3 sets of guests standing around waiting about 10 minutes for someone to come in and check us out. When the lady arrived, she offered no apologies and stated coffee is all they offer in the morning. We won’t be staying at this hotel ever again.

Super, super dirty!!! Absolutely disgusting rooms. We didn't realize how ran down it was until we pulled in. We immediately got a refund once we realized how dirty and roach infested the rooms were. Their reviews are not incorrect. This was the absolute dirtiest motel I have ever seen in my life!

Worst hotel ever. I found roaches inside my room. Never again on this hotel if I’m by this area. Breakfast was terrible. And please don’t step outside the hotel walking , is very dangerous area.

Got into Tampa late and needed a place to stay, I will say I did not look at all the bad reviews before booking. And my girlfriend realized as we were putting our stuff in the room. Realized the towels and bed sheets were completely stained. And the floor was sticky as hell from whatever cleaner they use? Not sure what was up with that. But the bright side is they got me in and I had a bed to sleep in. I saw a lot of reviews mentioning bugs but I can’t say we saw any bugs at all. Overall not great but got me a good 12 hours of sleep. Defiantly not worth the $232 they were asking. But in the moment you gotta do , what you gotta do.

This place is an absolute mess. The carpets are dirty and worn in the hallways and rooms. It smells awful and the rooms are dirty and they have a severe roach problem. They claim they have an exterminator but we had to go and buy our own and spray the room just so we could sleep. All the pictures they have on line our old and don’t tell the truth about this hotel. I would never ever stay in this dump again and if you do then I’d advise you to unpack your bags when you get home outside because the infestation there horrible. We had booked a non refundable booking and that was an absolute mistake because we were stuck there! Never ever again!!!!!

**Do not stay here**The manager did not tell me there was no elevator when asking if I wanted to stay on the first or second floor. My sister and I had to drag our heavy bags up the stairs. And when asked if we could switch to the first floor he gave me so much attitude. The room did not smell good. It was not clean. The drawers were dirty, cigarette burns on the beds. Mysterious red stains, bathroom sink dirty, shower curtain dirty. Hair in the bathroom and the floor was disgusting. I refused to walk with bear feet and even wore flip flops in the shower. Somehow the iron was burnt. I had to spray heavy layers of lysol just to feel slightly comfortable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. DO NOT STAY HERE

The rooms are disgusting. They are not cleaned. Above your head where you sleep. Sheets were torn or cigarette burns in blankets. The bathroom so gross toilets were not cleaned. The smell in the place is like mildew.

This hotel is gnarly. Lots of street people and questionable characters milling around the neighborhood. I saw some things that I can't unsee here and it doesn't feel very safe. Some friends in my group found a used crack pipe outside of the sliding door to their room. Very gross.

If I could give this place 0 I MOST DEFINITELY WOULD!!!! It smells so bad in the room it self. Not very clean AT ALL!! Asked for 2 extra towels she had an attitude and asked me what happened to the ones in the room. I'm like are you serious, they are still there but I need 2 more. She then only gave me one. Saying that's all the have clean. I will NEVER EVER book here again thank God we only wanted to get a shower and a few hours of rest before getting back on the road.

The absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed inn. Rooms are not clean, IV drug use is an issue as one guest found needles other room (she was in the lobby at the same as I was also requesting a different room) and despite there being a no smoking policy, the entire hallway was filled with cigarette smoke. The surrounding area in the parking lot is filled with what can only be described as sketchy characters. I didn't even feel safe staying the whole night and left after a few hours and went to another hotel.

They informed me they had additional cleaning procedures for covid....... they didn't even clean our bathroom. Hair on the floor, questionable substance smeared on the walls, and the previous guests soap bar was still in the shower. We had a non smoking room but the bathroom counter has cigarette burn marks. When you enter the hotel lobby it smells like they were hot boxing behind the counter with the slider window shut. Lets not talk about their light breakfast item and juice breakfast, I will include a picture

For the price I was charged per night for the room I was in, you'd think it would have looked/been better. Our room reeked of cigarettes (non smoking room), there were stains on both of the comforters on the beds and pillowcases, carpet very dirty. My daughter's feet were black from walking around on it even after her shower. The bath room was a mess. The door opened up and hit the toilet so it couldn't open all the way, also nails up and down the side of the door where it looks like it was coming apart and they gave it a quick fix. where the shower comes out it appears there is/was a leak in the room above and had left damage to the ceiling. Pieces of the ceiling flaking off into the shower. Absolutely zero water pressure. When running water in the sink to brush my teeth it wouldn't hardly drain. Large discolored spot on the wall where there used to be an iron, very up pealing. Went to try the pool out only to find it was closed, because it needed cleaning. Advertising breakfast from 6am to 9am. My daughter went up front to see what they had at 7:15am, they had absolutely nothing. Not even a granola bar or banana. I will never stay at this location again. Wyndham should definitely be ashamed to have their name associated with this Days Inn. Also while reading the reviews seems someone else stayed in the same room as I did. However their review was from 6 months ago. Days Inn, in 6 months y'all couldn't fix any of these issues in this room? I'd hate to see the rest of the rooms.

Ew, ew, ew, EWW! If you like bugs, this is for you! PLEASE READ!!! Disgusting, gross, roach/bug infestation, nasty stains on the bed, and service was absolutely horrific! My friend and I were originally in Residence Inn (Westshore), we wanted to extend our stay but they went from a reasonable price to $600, so we had to find a different hotel. Not sure what was going on in Tampa that day but all the hotels were $200+ (that’s including Super8 & etc). We knew it was only going to be one night so we found this Days Inn for ($121). Now I knew Days Inn wasn’t luxury or anything like Marriotts or Hilton but you do expect a hotel to be CLEAN & provide HOSPITALITY (that is the industry, right?). So we booked our room, the moment we got there the Indian man at the front desk immediately starts with “We will not have water until tomorrow evening around 5:00pm”. Unfortunately my friend had a zoom meeting and we were not able to get out of this fickle so we had to continue with the stay. As we’re finishing up at the front desk, the guy repeats it 3 times “ABSOLUTELY NO VISITORS” just over and over… we were highly confused as why he kept telling us because we’re not even from Tampa. At the end of the day, my friend and I SLEPT in our rental car as it was more accommodating than the room itself. The pictures online are a complete fabrication of what the place actually looks like!

Absolute trash! The worst hotel we have ever stayed in! Absolutely filthy! There was trash all over the property and it sat for days before anyone cleaned it up, the pool was full of dirt and grime, was tinted green! We were given half used toilet paper 🤢 the carpet was sticky and hard in some spots, and the remote had some red sticky residue on it 😳 there was smoke entering through the cracks under our door due to others smoking inside the building all 4 nights we stayed there. We were charged 2 times for the one stay of 4 days, so 4 nights cost us almost 800$ !!! Save your self and go somewhere else!

If I could give this a negative 5 stars I would. Absolutely disgusting. The smell was God awful. There was pink maybe, hairdye?!-all over the headboards and the blanket. The shower curtain bar was broken so the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed. Bathroom was filthy....the other clientel was super sketch, one almost ran us over as we were walking into the hotel....the area is also very just creepy... literally run in the other direction...

I have seen better days inn locations across the states and I will say I was shocked at this one. Rooms smelt like stale cigarette atmosphere. Stuff looked old and patchy. The male attendant racially profiled me when I asked about the non-complimentary breakfast and massaged chair like, what room. Dude, will a homeless person walk in from the corridors to ask that? Never returning and do not recommend.

If I could give this a real rating it would be a negative -5 star review. The area itself is terrible but the staff that runs this place are far worse. They are rude, judgemental, and very selective over who they show courtesy too. They over charge for discussing rooms. The rooms are nasty and smelly. They have a roach and a bedbug problem the roof leaks. And do not be fooled by the picture of the pool, it is never clean and the location is just awkwardly placed in the back so whoever is pulling in they have access to it. If this is your only choice in hotels, Google one more time to find something better. Save your money

For the price of $170 on a Saturday I think is a bit much for the room we had. King bed yea but no door on the bathroom and it appears they spent more on the massage chairs in the front lobby than sprucing up the rooms. If you're going to charge those rates, fix up the rooms. Bed was decent tho. BTW what's the point of advertising a "Free Breakfast " if it's just some heated up sausage biscuits and granola bars??? Eh the room worked for what it was needed for. Definitely wouldn't book here for my extended vacation.

We got a room for quick convenience close to the airport, wanted to relax, shower and nap before our flight...first room we got there was cockroaches crawling on the hotel room door, we went straight to the front desk to ask for another room. We were given another room and at first it was fine, then we showered, when we were done, there were roaches crawling on the bathroom door. I'll never come here again even if it's the last resort. I'd rather sleep in the car or the airport.

I highly recommend seeking out other options. Place is filthy.. building is not secure at all. Grounds are covered in trash. Bed had springs poking through. Curtain was full of mouth holes. Bathroom door was disgusting. Standard safety latch on entry door was broken/missing. Hair dryer didn't work and almost caught on fire. They advertise breakfast and put out a basket of small gronola bars. Coffee machine is instant and tastes terrible. Unless you just got out of jail and have no other options do not stay here. Days inn needs to remove their affiliation as I have stayed in others that were actually quite nice.

Run! I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. My husband and I booked it for one night. The room was very poorly kept, my comforter was missing a piece of cloth and had multiple holes. The tile floor had something glittery shining and was sticky. The toilet was ok, but there was a hole in the ceiling near the shower and the blowdryer was dirty. They offer free breakfast with your stay but after the room experience didnt want to try.

This was the worst hotel we have stayed in on our week long trip. The pot smell in the halls was terrible, the non smoking room we got smelled so strongly of smoke that it gave us a headache, and the room itself was run down and uncared for. The sheets and comforter were badly stained and the mattresses were worn out and springs were squishing out the sides. The floor was so sticky there was no way we could walk barefoot. The exterior doors didn't even have locks on them, so the safety of the place was questionable at best. The other guests were loud and obnoxious, yelling and banging on doors at 4:30 am. And the free hot breakfast consisted of orange juice and coffee. This is last Days Inn we will ever stay in.

This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Dirt and what I assume are cockroach bits everywhere. Stains and cigarette burns on the bed. Stains and dirt all over the headboard. Towels were dirty. Microwave was dirty. Shower had a good amount of hair on the walls and the toilet wasn’t fully bolted down. To top it off, our power went out in the room. The uploaded photo shows the dirt in the bathroom, but it was that dirty along the baseboards throughout the room.

There is led flashlights used as the lights in the room, immediately saw roaches. The bathroom wasn't clean there was hair everywhere and a thick layer of dust in the commode. When I lifted the sheets back and saw blood on the bed. I left the hotel 🤢🤮 if you can afford somewhere else please do it. Do not stay here.

Booked all my stays thru a third party site/App for pricing reasons. The hotel staff is super helpful and fair though. Hotel is really easy to access and parking is no problem at all. The pool area is clean and kid friendly, also with cool led lights lit up inside the pool at night. Lots of side/back door access for convenience. Room has wood floors and newer lamps/lampshades, so no funky odors in room. Room is spacious for a basic double-bed room, bathroom has a blocked off entrance so it's out of site. My favorite thing in the room would be the sliding glass doors though. Doors open allowing fresh air and sunlight in the room, making it feel more home-ish. Overall very satisfied and have booked more with this hotel currently.

NASTY AND FILTHY HAD OTHERS PEOPES SHOES CLOTHES ETC ALL UNDER THE BED AND DRESSER. THEY HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MAKING SURE TOWLES RAGS AND TOLIET PAPER IS PROVIDED. The floor is filled with trash dirt and tobacco. The restroom smells like someone pissed all over the shower curtains and the sheets were NOT WASHED! The floor was not mopped it was badly Sticky! Room service took 3 hours to bring me sheets and a towel! Worst Customer Service! Nasty nasty nasty! The don’t clean the fridge either. It had dead bugs, dust, food stains and crumbs. My 2 year old walked on the floor for less than 5 minutes and his feet were so BLACK the socks are no longer white! I let it slide for 48 hours but one day 3 it all got WORSE!

DO NOT STAY HERE. The couch in the front looks like it came from outside by the trash. I had to have the staff change all my bedding due to blood stains & other stains. JUST NASTY. The room had roaches & wasn’t clean. I needed the room for one night. It was inexpensive. Next time I will pay more money for better accommodation. This place is horrible. The only POSITIVE & I mean the ONLY. Our room had a sliding door that led out to a patio. You could sit outside & enjoy the weather. Pictures of the bathroom added. Days Inn do better!!!

The area is very sketchy There's trash everywhere The place it overall is old and run down There's lots of construction But it looks like the work that has been done is sub par At best

We needed a room for one night coming over going to hockey game. I used my Wyndham account and got a room. Extremely disappointed. Upon walking in it smells of pot and stale cigarettes. Already at the front desk are two young women wearing barely any clothes trying to get rooms. Then a guy appeared and cut in front of me his pants sagging way past his a$$ no shirt heavy smell again if pot. He wanted to tell the guy he had someone coming to give him money. So right away I figured this was a squatters motel. But I figured it’s one night and really long enough to sleep before heading back. The room is old and worn out. Smelled clean when you walked in but then the longer you are in there the more it really starts to smell. Shower is nasty, furniture chipped up and old, beds seemed clean. The beds were comfortable. But I Lysoled the whole room, everything we would touch and sprayed the beds and both sides of the pillows. Ice machine doesn’t work. We got up and left as soon as it got light. If you need a room just to sleep it serves it’s purpose but I wouldn’t recommend for a longer vacation.

Pretty dirty. Bugs, weird brown stains on lamps. One of the lamps didn't even work. Bathroom door didn't close. Toilet didn't work at first. The breakfast was just juice and coffee. The carpet was sticky for some reason. Staff was pretty friendly.

If I could give zero stars I would have. The pictures are so misleading. Do not be fooled. Came home smelling like I’ve been a chainsmoker since I was 13. The whole place reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. My three year old who has never been around cigarettes smelled so bad. The sheets were gross, towels stained, cigarette burns on the refrigerator and huge clumps of dust on the ac unit. The first night there we had no heat even after calling and reporting it. Our window was covered by a bed blanket not a curtain and the toilet barely flushed. The bathroom floors had a fun stick to them. Overall disgusting and felt very unsafe.

Enjoyed the location it was really close to Ybor and so many attractions and restaurants. Room was big and comfortable. Inside all was very clean and smelled clean all the time. Needs some upgrading but had all you need. The entrance to the hotel was a little shabby. It had trash and spilled liquids I think could have been kept better. Staff was great! No breakfast even though stay provides breakfast not even coffee when I went down at 7:30 am. I think it would be good to provide those items in the room. Overall I would stay again because of location and parking.

Rooms: Strong smell of chemical cleaners. Not good for health. I received various bed bug bites all over my body. Service: As anyone knows, bed bug bites can resemble mosquito bites at first, but do not resolve quickly. After identifying the issue, including eye witness account, I alerted the hotel of the issue. Manager never responded. Our attorneys are working on the case to commence litigation. Location: Close to downtown but very undesirable area. Never again.

Please don’t stay here! Everything was dirty, unclean, and sketchy. To start off the hotel and our room smelled horrible. First thing I noticed was that there was hardly any lighting at all. None of the appliances or furniture in the room matched, it looked like half the stuff got picked up from a junk yard and the other half from someone’s house. I’m not joking the two lamps we had in the room both had hole and water damage on them, one of them didn’t even work and the one that did work was leaning so badly the wall needed to hold it up at a certain angle or else it would fall. The fridge had mold in it and was so unclean. There were dirt streaks on the walls along with blood spots. Saw some bugs, some alive some dead. The patio situation on the first floor rooms seemed very unsafe, anyone could walk up and open it if they wanted to basically. The comforter and bed had cigarette burns on them and there was not one spot in that room that was clean. The toilet seat wasn’t clean, the floors sticky, and there was a big hole right above the shower. My bf had to put multiple napkins in the hole to cover it, also noticed they didn’t take the time to take out the USED soap from the guest before us. Oh and we spotted black mold above our room door on the inside. There was more but the point is PLEASE DO NOT ATAY HERE, sleeping in our van would’ve felt more safe honestly.

First thing you notice is the area. Terrible. We saw a roach in the vending machines downstairs. Terrible. Front desk guy had the worst attitude , once again terrible. Cleanliness of hotel absolutely not. It was disgusting throughout. It’s like slums. I booked this hotel for my fiancé who came in from Nigeria and I was disgusted. I told him if I had known it was this bad I would’ve never allowed him here but his flight landed at midnight so we had no other choice at that hour. His room was disgusting also. I hate he even has to stay a couple hours due to them having check out at 9am???? I stay at 3-4star hotels and all my life never heard of checking out at 9am. Please if you’re in town run!!! Don’t go to this roach infested slums of a hotel in the hood crackheads everywhere smh

THIS WAS SO AWFUL!!!! DIRTY rooms, used q-tips, so much dust, a dirty bathtub, nasty carpets, just gross. We had to ask 5 times for them to open the pool, AFTER we were in pool hours for 3 hours. Breakfast was the worst- had to ASK for a granola bar, because that’s all they had to eat. My coffee also had a fly in it. We stayed for 3 days and got no house keeping, didn’t see a house keeper once in our stay. The workers didn’t wear shoes, and could hardly could speak English. I would give it a 0 if I could.. Super sketchy, definitely not a place for a family.

Cockroaches. Absolutely gross. Pool is supposedly closed. Laundry room doesn’t work. Smells like pot through the entire thing. Beds are gross bought our own pillows because they provided us with pillows that no one could comfortable sleep on! No house keeping came through our entire stay of 5 nights! Absolutely horrible. Do not recommend

Made reservations here and drove 8 hours from home arrived at 1 am and I had confirmation number and everything they told me I had no reservations and no rooms available for me and my children. It was the middle of the night far from home. Two days later they charged my card $250. So I called them, A manager was suppose to call me back. Never did. I had to contact my bank for assistance.

Such a bad experience I had there, extremely unhygienic 🤮 bad stinky smell all over the place 🤢 room cleanings service was pathetic, cigarettes buds all over the place, $2 for a small bottle of water, breakfast was a protein bar, I got seriously ill just after 2 days of living there, bathroom was soooo bad 🤢 oh my god and most annoying part was people (from hotel management) having s€x just above my room and I could hear screaming n all. Plz plz my humble request to all who are coming to Tampa chose any place but not this dirty filthy hotel.

Stupid rules here... No visitors allowed? I'm not a child or a prisoner. Had to reschedule a work meet because visitors couldn't come. Ridiculous!! Whatever they use to clean floors in the rooms, they're using too much as it leaves a sticky and slippery residue.

I wish I could give this zero stars! This place was the dirtiest place ever. The first room looked as though a horror movie took place. The filth is crazy. From the blood on the ceiling, to the dirt in the doors of the room. Shaving of hair all over, the sheets hadn't been changed. Just a mess!!!! Thank God we only had to endure 1 night. If I had a car there I would have slept in it

The best thing about this place was the location but many homeless people in the area. The room was clean enough. The fridge froze all our drinks even on a low setting. The microwave worked only in 30 second intervals. The cost (250) for 2 nights was not worth it. The staff was very nice though.

Friendly service at the front desk, not the best looking area but wasn’t bad for one night. Pretty fair pricing as well. I read a lot of bad reviews about this place but in my opinion, it really isn’t that bad at all. Lots of good restaurants nearby as well. Overall, not a bad place to stay for one or two nights.

Worst hotel in Tampa period.. They are racist, nasty owners. The old man ( the owners dad) is racist and tried walking in our room after my daughter. I dont know what he thought she was alone or something idk but he definitely is some one youd have to watch extra close if you have kids and is thinking of coming here. Not kid friendly. . The 2 front desk employees are rude and very judgemental against people. They are over prices dirty rooms.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is disgusting. There was something that looked suspiciously like blood all over the carpet in our room. It is also in a very sketchy part of town. The property is covered in trash. A lot of the people staying there are rough around the edges. It does NOT seem like the kind of place a girl should stay at by herself. It might be cheap but that is for a reason!!!!!!!???

  • 1/5 Kat C. 2 years ago on Google
Room assigned at check looked like someone was still in there. Beds were unmade, dirty linens were still on the floor. Second room provided was clean but everyone smoked in the surrounding rooms so my room was full of smoke. I didn't even bother asking for a third room since from what I gathered from other guests who also had complaints about their rooms, they were just as bad if not worse. I simply cut my losses and went somewhere else for the night, something I recommend you do before checking into this hotel.

  • 1/5 Tim J. 1 year ago on Google
Dirty clothes including underwear found under the bed and in drawers. Wifi didn't work and management wanted me to call the internet provider. Molded food in the refrigerator. We booked three rooms and all smelled awfully of smoke. Had to place an air freshener on the ac to combat the smell. Avoid this place if you have any other option!

There was a roach crawling on my bed I was nervous that one would go in my ear. They also didn't want to give more towels and it was three of us in a room like we want to still their flat towels like our luggage weren't heavy enough we came from out of state.

This hotel is conveniently located, directly off the I4 exit. They are undergoing remodeling, so the rooms are clean, but the hotel and grounds, are not. Cigarette butts by the thousands are piled on the grounds, the outdoors does not ever feel safe, the rooms are unfinished. No drapes in my room, just pinned up sheets on sliding glass doors. I really liked that the doors open into a fenced in area, but the fencing is bent, open and accessable, leaving it to feel unsafe. There is no breakfast served, no computer/business services offered, the hallways are filthy, the trash gathers at the back entrance daily and it appears that the entire ownership/family lives on site, which at times, feels rather uncomfortable. The staff is always friendly, but never at the front desk and never available for immediate service. I reserved an 8 night stay and had to have my keys updated daily, until I complained. The outside doors are open 24/7, leaving the hotel open to anyone walking into the hallways and although I'm told there is Security, I've NEVER seen the exterior walked and protected. The bathroom sink has no stopper, so I bought one to assure my jewelry nor anything personal drop into the pipes and the tub is stained dirty. The showerhead is SUPER and water pressure is great! This is actually a great location for convenience, but with zero amenities, unsafe feel and dirty grounds, halls and general feel of things, I'm pretty sure that I'll not be staying here again.

Very reasonable price. The environment was a little sketchy. People hanging out in the parking lot. The rooms were clean, but not too great decor.

Roaches in the room. Service people are very rude. Bums and drugs around the area and even inside the hotel u can get high the moment you walk in with the smell of crack and weed. They say they offer breakfast and they do not the juice is watered down and coffee is week it tastes like decaf cuz its cheaper I believe
