Wings were good. Staff was friendly. Local Bar with some weekly happenings. Will go back next time in town with friends.

I've been here many times with friends and have to say that they have the best chicken wings I've ever had. I don't know what's in their sauce but holy cow is it good! Staff is super friendly and karaoke on Friday nights is always a great time. Kitchen is open until 2 am! Come here and try the best wings in Tampa!

Mackenzies Sports Tavern in South Tampa touts they have the best wings on the planet. This hole in the wall bar was located behind a shell gas station. Here I order a round of chicken wings with a side of blue cheese. The wings were not half bad–not best on THIS planet, but still respectable. They came out piping hot and were just slightly overcooked to the point where the wing wasn’t so much crispy as it was crunchy. The meat fell right off the bone and the sauce–made in house–was incredible. It packed a punch. Where these fell short came in the realm of the blue cheese. It was very runny, vinegary, and honestly tasted as though it came out of a bottle at your local grocery store. For this, we rate these wings a respectable 7.9. Hockey game was on all the many tvs, so the bar was fairly crowded. Service was prompt and friendly, and the beer prices were comparable to other bars in the area. Their wings are their greatest asset, very large, delicious, and reasonably priced.

Best wings hands down! Service was spectacular. I had the empanadas, mini corn dogs, and pork egg rolls as an appetizer and was not disappointed. Repeat customer for life

Love Mackenzie's, Macy, the bartender is awesome. Friendly and very nice to look at. Food is on point. Can't stop there without getting some wings. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

Heard about their wings for years so gave it a try. Wings were among the best I've had. Big wings fried right and perfectly hot. Friendly server. Music was a tad loud but good songs. A nice neighborhood tavern.

Not a bad dive bar. Came here on a Wednesday night and they had karaoke. I also ordered some wings. They were huge and very tasty! The bartender, Hillary, was fantastic! If in the area, I would recommend it. I know that I'll be back!

This place is awesome, a true hidden gem of South Tampa. Their claim of having the best wings is so true. You don't find too many restaurants anymore that have wings like this...you know...with meat on the bone. You won't be disappointed, plus Lisa is awesome. This was my first time here, and I got their wings. They were some of the best wings I have ever had. Nice a crispy, and I got the garlic parmesan and hot. Delicious, and then I ordered their Philly cheesesteak to go. I would definitely come back. I love like hole in the wall places. They always have the best food. The bartender and the owner were great. We had a larger group of 20 bikers all at once. The owner did all of the cooking. He was outstanding, and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back

Definitely an interesting little dive bar. Wednesday nights wing night is a great time. Well-priced wings and karaoke. Crowd that shows up is very entertaining. Cheap drafts and plenty of TVs. No two nights are the same, so you never quite know what to expect!

I could eat there every day. Awesome wings and cheese steaks. I haven't found anything on the menu I don't like. All the bartenders are extremely nice and attentive. I love this place.

What can I say about Mackenzie that wasn't already postivily said. The atmosphere is very homey and pleasant. And the wings are just amazing. The bartenders are friendly and respectful. Don't just read this review, go experience it for yourself!

Nice quiet bar where you can chill with your people. Limited food choices, but try the Philly it's pretty tasty.

This is a diamond in the rough or absolutely perfect for what it's supposed to be! The cheese steak is ridiculously good but the hotwings? Shut the front door! They claim to be the best on the planet but I've never had better!

First time here. Worth the 40 mile drive. Hands down the BEST cheesesteak ever! Homemade spicy dill pickles sliced and fried -amazing! Veteran owned. Will find excuses to be in that area just to have lunch there again. Owners and staff are great! For a small sports bar the best menu around. Fresh food! Try it you will enjoy! Decent lil dive bar, never had any complaint about staff or food I've tried. It's kinda hidden behind a gas station but easy parking. It's also next to another bigger bar that gets so packed the people there often walk over to this place to relax which says alot about the laid back atmosphere.

The food was okay but the service was terrible the bar lady was so disrespectful and had a attitude… it took them one hour on 8 wings and a side of fries and there was only 3 people.

Wings and Philly Cheese steaks were surprisingly good. Definitely would go again for food and drinks

Came from Lakeland to eat the best wings on the planet and wasn't let down. Cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. I'll make this trip every chance I can!
