New owners are a tremendous improvement, quality of service, food, and smoothies have gone up. I can't wait until my next chance to visit.

The smoothies are always delicious, the owners are friendly and the best part is they always make your order quickly. While other locations may have waits of 15 minutes or more, this location seems to have my smoothie made almost as soon as I finish ordering. Great place for a quick stop for something refreshing and healthy!

The first time I went it was awesome a bit pricey but worth it, you know, going to pay for quality im fine w that. Now with that being said , the second time I went got one smoothie comes up to $7.40 after tax ( I SHOWED THEM ON MY PHONE AS WELL) their system isn't reading that they already took my money so because their machine doesn't print a receipt these nitwits decided that I can't get my smoothie and that I should pay more money for another one.. After waiting patiently about 5min the guy says well "or just wait because it's not coming out of my paycheck "

The Best smoothies & food around!!! I was traveling to visit tampa from Naples & by far they beat all the naples and Bonita stores!!! If your trying to decide between this store and another one nearby just go to this one!! They not only will get your order correct but it will be served fresh and with a side of “Smiles”!! Thank you!! ( we had Quesadillas, flatbreads and several smoothies my kids were happy)

Cute smoothie place with good options. They have plenty of fun, fresh options and the smoothies are large. I’ve liked all the smoothies I’ve tried so far. I really like the Bahama Mama smoothie, I get it all the time! They have some other great options too. I like to switch it up with food and try new things every time. So far, I have never been disappointed with anything I’ve tried. Employees are fast and friendly. Will definitely continue coming back!

So tropical smoothie food is going to be good it is what it is but the service at the restaurant is something different. There was an Employee, I guess they said his name was Jameson in eyes view in the back hunched over sleeping or something. I had to ask if he was ok. The restaurant was dirty. There was not an open table to sit at that was clean. Clean up the tables after people eat please. The food is great here! Edit: Then I believe A woman named Gabby entered while we were waiting for our order and she said "what happened to our lobby"? Then cleaned up the straw wrappers before walking to the back. She was amazed to see the restaurant like this. The tables were not wiped down but it was a start.

I came in here with a coupon I had gotten at another store that expressly said good at any tropical smoothie cafe location but it had the address of the location I had gotten it from. There was a tall indian gentleman at the counter taking orders who was very rude about it and didn't even read the small print. I tried to explain to him but he just kept trying to hand it back to me . I ended up leaving without getting anything and was very disappointed by the awful customer service

I came in to get a smoothie and was given the wrong change back. I don’t make a fuss about a dollar but the employee did not mention that I was shorted a dollar until after I looked at the receipt and said something. She proceeded to then say she did know that it wasn’t the right change because they ran out of 1 dollars bills. Really??? You couldn’t have just said something when you gave me the change in the first place? It would have been no big deal. Then she wouldn’t give me the change that she owed me at all. Terrible service, make sure you count your change people, they will short you and not even say a word about it!

I was hoping to come in today to get my birthday reward of a free smoothie. I walked into the restaurant at 8:30 (they close at 9:00) and was told quite rudely and without reason that the store was closed. Why is the door unlocked if you’re closed and you don’t have a sign up or anything? I was really looking forward to my smoothie all day. Happy Birthday to me I guess :( Sincerely, Disappointed.

Hey so the Sun City Center location is the Best! The Manager there, what can I say about her she's great! She knows her customers. Everyone is so friendly that work there. I love the atmosphere. The store is clean, modern and chic. The Smoothies rock! You need one in your life Lol .. I love Detox Smoothie, The Avocolona, The Bahama Smoothie, Sunrise Sunset ect.. What I love is you can always add any extra fruit or probiotics ect... to give extra something something. They have healthy food too! Oh! and download the app to rack up points to get free smoothies!

Used to come here all the time. Tonight we came and they put no rice or meat on our wrap, and I got 2 ksle apple slaws that were inedible because they were so old. I'm very disappointed.

I came here to do an Uber eats order I threw a can in the garbage before confirming the order I was picking up and the man working told me I wasn’t allowed to throw any trash in his bin then assumed I was there to steal food even after I showed him my phone and confirmed the order in front of him.

Staff never say hello. Welcome. Nothing. And the front door has fingerprints all over! Tells me is it clean? Only one girl say hank you. I know they are busy although waited 5 min before they took order

This may be too generous of a rating. I ordered online for my daughters birthday a wrap platter and smoothies. When my husband went to pick up they said they saw the order but didn’t know what it was so they didn’t make it. Really? So my husband had to pull up THEIR menu to show them what came with each and had to be late to the party. In the end the order was wrong but whatever. I understand that restaurants are under stress right now with the pandemic but they could have called, anything except ignore the pre paid order. Would not take the chance again.

I love this place! I come here often before work to get a smoothie or a quick breakfast bite. The owner will remember your order and I love that! It gives you the sense that they actually take the time to care about their customers. The smoothies are always tasty and the food is good. I have yet to try some other items. They could have a larger selection of smoothies but I'm sure corporate controls all of that. Smoothies come out quick, food takes a little more time. But overall, I am please with this location as well as the location up on North Dale Mabry. Thanks guys!!

Donald and Craig (the business owner) gave an outstanding service right at the end of the day when I know it isn’t very convenient to serve any customers! I always appreciate business’ that go the extra mile! Keep up the great customer service and high quality smoothies!

Ran by a bunch of kids. No one knew what they were doing, all fumbled out the back. I got two smoothies and had to get them both remade and the remakes were horrible. They were all watery nothing like any other tropical cafe. Very disappointed. Also seen other turn around and say the same.
