What
a
SHAME
call
that
place
a
"rehabilitation".
After
my
mom
had
a
stroke
was
transferred
from
the
St.
Joseph
Hospital
to
that
place,
my
first
visit
right
after
she
was
transferred,
was
not
pleasant
at
all,
the
entry
of
the
place
was
dirty,
nobody
was
on
the
reception,
heading
to
her
room,
she
was
with
her
head
hanging
out
of
the
bed,
secondo
visit
her
feeding
tube
was
licking
and
my
mom
Ensure
was
all
over
the
floor,
since
the
stroke
left
her
with
a
twisted
mouth
and
tongue,
unable
to
chew
or
swallow,
that
was
her
only
way
to
be
fed.
Short
time
after
they
called
me,
my
mom
was
unresponsive,
her
blood
pressure
and
sugar
levels,
over
the
roof.
As
soon
I
get
to
the
hospital,
the
doctor
asked
me
what
happened
to
my
mom,
she
was
fine
at
the
time
she
was
transferred
and
came
back
few
days
after
with
a
SEVERE
signs
of
dehydration,
serum
sodium
levels
very
elevated.
She
went
into
a
hypovolemic
shock,
this
is
one
of
the
most
serious,
and
sometimes
life-threatening,
complications
of
dehydration.
It
occurs
when
low
blood
volume
causes
a
drop
in
blood
pressure
and
a
drop
in
the
amount
of
oxygen
in
your
body.
Her
blood
oxygen
saturation
levels
went
down
around
88%,
which
is
considered
dangerous.
After
that,
her
body
did
not
respond
to
the
treatments
and
my
mom
passed
away
two
weeks
later.
Respectfully,
I
do
not
believe
that
the
staff
of
this
center
is
capable
of
providing
the
proper
medical
attention
to
patients
depending
on
their
physical,
mental
disabilities
or
medical
history.
Our
elderly
generation
deserves
dignified
and
responsible
treatment
from
our
doctors
and
nurses.
If
our
family
treated
my
mom
with
respect,
love,
dedication
and
devotion,
I
expect
no
less
from
others.
Terrible
experience
and
very
bad
memories
of
this
center.
One
star
because
I
can't
comment
without
first
rate
from
1
to
5,
but
this
place
doesn't
even
deserve
a
star,
in
my
opinion
and
personal
experience.
