Fast service, great quality and staff! The place was packed for obvious reasons. My first trip here, but I shall return. The portions were impressive and prices were very reasonable.

Great food and nice service. Expect a wait time, they are busy! Book a head if possible. FYI - The Dynamite Scallops are amazing!

Everything about this place was amazing! Valet, service, atmosphere, and the food is top notch. Went out for a date with my boyfriend and I, it was our first time and we will definitely be back! He’s not a big sushi fan but he absolutely loved the food here!

Impressed with very well prepared sushi! Drinks were just as amazing (even though it was happy hour during my visit). Reservations are usually something that's recommended (as per hostess check-in) during evenings and/or weekends, since there will be limited availability.

We came to this spot on a recommendation from a few people, looking to find a good sushi place. What we found was a good bao place. The pork belly bao were amazing, very tender and juicy, however this was the only positive taken from our dinner experience. The sushi rolls were no larger than the diameter of a hot dog and the rice on the outside was gummy and unpleasant. It took almost an hour to get our food at the sake bar; it seems the popularity has led to a decrease in quantity and quality of sushi.

Came here for lunch with friends. The soup and salad was good but the sushi was not great. The sashimi slices were fresh and tasty, however, the sushi rice seemed undercooked; dry and hard in the middle. Somehow the table only has low sodium soy sauce, so we asked for regular soy sauce. Our waitress was pretty good and attentive. One interesting thing that happened was that the menu stated $19.75 for my friend’s order but she was charged $20. I know it’s only 25 cents… but the prices didn’t match.

Really wonderful sushi restaurant in Tampa. All the food wet had was fantastic and the service was wonderful. Parking is not plentiful but there is a free valet. This place is very popular so I would recommend reservations at least on Friday nights and the weekend. The seaweed salad was very bright and fresh. The Florida and kamakaze rolls were fantastic. my favorite roll was the carnival crunch. Lots of flavors on that one, is nicely crunchy, and I am a big fan of jalapenos

Soho Sushi is the best place around for sushi! Their sushi is so fresh and they have some very inventive types of rolls. They always have great specials or something new to try! I love everything about this place. It's a cute little restaurant if you're dining in but the food tastes just as good if you're getting take-out.

The food here was okay I have eaten at way better Sushi places in the country. I picked Soho Sushi as it rated high however, I was not impressed. The service was okay nothing special the waitress seemed a bit stressed but was okay. If you do go to Soho Sushi the crispy rice dishes are amazing but the sushi was basic nothing unique or creative about it. This is a nice place to chill get a quick bit but nothing extra about it, I am from Miami so I have been to places that are out of this world, I would not say Soho Sushi is one of those places. Parking is crazy we parked across the street and walked as there is no parking just valet from what we saw.

Went there during lunch after running an errand, beautiful place inside! We were seated promptly even though they were pretty busy. Delicious sushi, very fresh! The Chicken Yakitori appetizer was so good!

We went to SoHo for an anniversary dinner without reservations. The hostess seated us the bar area, which was quiet and off in a corner. It was perfect. The sushi was amazing. We have had sushi many places, and this place is absolutely the best sushi we have had. All the staff were friendly and professional. The only downside is that the size lot has limited parking.

Best sushi place in Tampa for real! Everything here was amazing from the sushi to the drinks. The fish was fresh and had a nice bite to it. The quality was definitely worth the price. The service was great and the staff was friendly as we tried to decide what to order. The location was a little small and parking was horrible, but I would go through it all again just to have this sashimi. Instagram: @RosiesFoodTour TikTok: @RosiesFoodTour Yelp: @Rosie A

The restaurant is clean. The service is super friendly and attentive. The food is okay. The prices are high for the quality. We sat at the sushi bar and Gianna, Joe, and Anthony could not have been more friendly, personable, and attentive. The service was excellent. We tried several items from the menu, both from the sushi and hot food menus: Emilio-style spicy edamame, salmon carpaccio, tuna tataki, rainbow roll, red Devil roll, miso soup, ginger salad, and combination fried rice. The presentation on all of the items was very nice; the sushi presentation was excellent. The prices are a bit high for the quality of fish. Our bill was about $220 for two people for a big lunch (before tip). It seems like a cool place for a date night. We were told that they are very busy at dinner; lunch was not busy at all.

Have eaten there several times and took my wife there for lunch today. She's not a huge sushi person but I convinced her and talked the place up. They made me look like a fool! She had the Tampa roll, I think, the fish was dry and the roll was mostly dry crunchy overcooked batter. She didn't eat it. I had the Red Dragon with shrimp instead of tuna inside and it was really bad. The shrimp was cold and chewy and the pieces were small. I saw the people next to use and there rolls were twice the size of mine. I really wanted to complain but my wife was insistent I don't. The whole ride home all she did was rip on me for recommending this place. She liked Sushi Ninja better. It is just up the street. They really ripped me off today. Our lunch was, in my wife's words, a total disaster. This experience really pisses me off. Next time we go back to Sushi Ninja and I will never talk up a restaurant again. Made my complains to the manager and he was as unprofessional as they come. Wanted to argue instead of addressing the problems. This place has a really negative energy. Avoid !

SoHo Sushi is absolutely my favorite place for sushi in Tampa. I advise going on a weeknight because they are always packed, and weekends are crazy busy. The Mexican Roll was the favorite at my table.

Sushi rolls are very good, most of the time. Getting 4 stars because of inconsistency. Fish has always been fresh. Kiss of fire is our favorite roll. They have free valet parking but we prefer parking our own vehicle, parking lot is a bit precarious.

I am not a sushi lover but my daughter suggested we go here. They have a parking lot but it is small and shared with another restaurant, also there is valet parking. We had to wait about 10 minutes for our table. There is not much room actually you have to stand in-front if the door. My daughter got sushi, KAT roll. She said overall fresh but could be more flavorful. I got Katsu, is like chicken schnitzel. It was thin and crispy and I like it. There is moderate level of noise and tables and close to each other. They have an open kitchen style. For two we paid around 60$, one beer included.

Of all the times I go to Soho Sushi I finally sat at the bar. The atmosphere is always perfect, the wine was on point and the sushi was delicious as always. Service at the bar was extremely fast.

Place overall was good. very clean and a nice place to visit. For the SF, the parking is limited, so plan on street parking or utilizing the valets. Menu is huge, seemed to be mostly wine 🍷. Sushi 🍣 was enjoyable with no complaints.

Tampa Bay Restaurant Week. Soho Sushi. Located in a strip center on W. Kennedy, Soho does a very busy lunch business. Prix-Fixe Menu is $55 for 2 with 4 courses. The selection is huge, choose 1 of 7 starters, any 2 sushi rolls, any 2 specialty rolls and 1 of 3 desserts. The wife and I loved our selection and the Fried Oreo dessert was amazing. We had the Mexican, Spider, Volcano and Candy Cane rolls. All of them were very good. Having in my past, sat for 2 years across the counter from a 70 year old Japanese Sushi Master, there are things I notice. Soho is on the cusp of being 5 stars but the chefs I saw lack the experience and intense training that used to be the benchmark for sushi chefs. I opted for a nice variety of items. Kiss Me Roll, Hamachi Kama, 2 Steamed Buns (Katsu and Pork Belly) and a couple Salmon Skin Hand Rolls. Presentation was mostly good. Loved the Kiss Me roll with the citrus flavor and that kiss of heat. The Katsu bun was excellent but the Pork Belly missed the mark, did not care for the piece of pork belly inside. The hamachi was just ok to me. An intense fish flavor due to the soft skin and light cooking preparation. I prefer the skin to be more crispy while the fish remain juicy. The hand rolls tasted fantastic with perfectly crispy salmon skin but they were very loosely rolled. I myself, honestly, roll them tighter. Today the lack of experience showed on the sushi chefs. Not sure if they are the regulars or if they change on certain days or shifts. Also, I wanted to try some very high grade sashimi but they had none.

All around the best casual sushi place in tampa! It does not disappoint! I am planning to go back soon.

Wonderful food, servers & chefs! I started with an Appetizer then added a custom roll & finished with fried ice cream, it was a treat for sure.

Mid. I had high hopes due to the reviews, but it was mid. The drinks are horrible. The strawberry mojito was horrible and didn’t even up drinking it. I got the carnival role and it was not cohesive at all. We also had veggie rolls; the size of them were very tiny and rn avocado topped on the roll was already brown. Spring rolls were okay, but nothing to brag about. Ginger salad was typical. The burger appetizer things were okay. Idk I had really high hopes but wouldn’t go back. Still haven’t found a sushi spot in tampa :/

I’ve been eating sushi here for 15 years since they were on Howard avenue. Hands down the best sushi in Tampa and beyond. Fresh and prepared perfectly. The kitchen menu is also delicious and has frequent specials that are always unique. The staff here is wonderful and if you haven’t been here you’re missing out!

I wouldn't say this place is an actual three but more like a 2.7. The sangria was good. But the sushi was average sushi at best. The pork belly buns were okay The pork belly was more on the tougher side. Didn't really melt in your mouth like I'm used to.The sushi rolls could have been rolled a little bit better. Just overall quality wasn't what I'm used to from other sushi establishments I've been to. But if you want a cheap sushi dinner and some different takes on rolls come here.

Super popular place near Kennedy and Lincoln. Valet parking is required, due to the limited spaces on-site.. Sushi was excellent- try the Kiss of Fire roll, and Unagi Nigiri sushi. Good selection of sake. No fancy cocktails at this time as the bar is upgrading their setup to include a full line of liquors. A/C is on high so bring a sweatshirt..
