I'm writing this review to shed light on the appalling way my wife has been treated at this gynecology group. After raising concerns about unprofessional behavior from some of the doctors, rather than addressing the issue, she received a letter informing her that she was no longer welcome at their practice - simply for leaving a negative Google review. This is an unacceptable way to treat a woman who is six months pregnant and who has previously entrusted this practice with the delivery of her two other children. The sense I get is they only want a “low risk” pregnancies in their locations to minimize their responsibilities and legal risks. This incident reveals that the group prioritizes its public image and financial gains over the well-being and care of its patients.

This office discharged me because I was a week late on getting a lab test completed (even though there was no due date on the order form). No remorse at all from the manager, that I’m due to give birth in 3 months and now I have to find another physician. I never missed an appointment with there office, was never a hassle for there office and not only that I paid them over $1,000 to deliver my baby and now I am left in the dust with no doctor. I would not recommend this office to anyone who wants a reliable doctor to deliver there child.

Outside of a few good doctors + staff members, and I mean a few… this is the most poorly run office I’ve ever witnessed. You are certainly a transaction here, and unfortunately I felt that way every visit. No empathy. No communication. My husband dropped a RTW form off to be completed, and he was charged an additional $35 fee on top of the one I already paid. Now I have to call and demand a refund. But this place either has the worst system of record or just wants you for every penny you’re worth. Either way, not a pleasant experience. I would especially not recommend this place if you are a first time mom.

If you’re high risk especially do not come here! Reconsider another ob/gyn option! This is my 3rd baby at the women’s group. Initially with my first two I loved it, and the doctors that delivered them (Dr. Twitty and Dr. Greer), were the best and so kind, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Unfortunately, this is the extent of kindness I’ve experienced from this group of doctors at two different locations. Two appointments during this 20 week pregnancy so far, I have left the office crying because of the complete lack of empathy for me as a human. (Dr. G and Dr. H at North Tampa office) In fact, today I had to actively advocate for myself several times during one conversation with an OB. Her words “how are you doing?” Me “not good, I am really struggling with sleep and intense back pain from my recent spinal fusion” she replies “no no, you must’ve misunderstood me, I meant how are you taking your blood sugar?” And NOT ONCE, did she circle back and ask about my well being or how I feel or my symptoms. I had to actively bring up my discomfort several times and it led no where and was brushed under the rug. I am so disappointed and disgusted by the treatment I’ve received, I would never recommend them knowing how I’ve been treated, especially considering that my pregnancy being high risk has only been used against me. They are not concerned for ME or my baby, but for their numbers and how taking on a high risk pregnancy will impact THEM.

I decided to come to the woman's group because it was recommended to me by a friend. The google reviews made me a little hesitant so I felt I should come on here to give my experience. This was my first child and we loved all the Drs at this location. They all made us feel very comfortable and explained everything I had questions about. The billing also went very smoothly and I had no issues with them or my insurance. We had a few issues at the end of my pregnancy and all the Dr's made me feel calm and informed on what was going on. In the end we were sent to the hospital for induction and everything went very smoothly. I would 100 percent recommend this practice to a new mother and don't let other reviews affect your decision.

The office is nicely decorated, and that's about where my good feedback stops. Never had an issue with GYN care, but when it came to OB care, they really dropped the ball. There are a couple good doctors (Gorgue and Aladina) and a few nice staff members (ultrasound tech, RN Vanessa, and Jessica in labs), but overall a nightmare. The doctors don't even look at your chart before they speak to you, and you end up answering and clarifying the same things at each appointment. Staff argues with each other in front of you. I had to firmly request certain tests that they deemed 'unnecessary' that actually did end up being necessary. I was also given mixed directions and opinions at each appointment. I was put on a medication until 15wks that included two shots a day, just to be told I didn't need it, and that it was harmful to myself to have been taking it when I received a second opinion. When I arrived for my anatomy scan I was told I needed to go elsewhere for it, even though 4 weeks prior I was told by the doctor to schedule it on my way out. My bloodwork was sent to the wrong lab twice, causing me to have to come back in for retesting. I was labeled 'high risk' causing me to be a patient of two offices and doubling my appointments, and again, upon second opinion was told that I was indeed NOT high risk. I decided to leave the practice for a new one at 25wks due to the added stress of the office, and my husband and I leaving each appointment frustrated by the lack of communication and confusion. The communication between doctors, staff and patient are absolutely horrible and I wish I wouldn't have given the office so many chances, and had switched earlier in my pregnancy. The office only seemed to care when I was contemplating leaving, I'm assuming due to them having to refund me the money I had already paid for my delivery.

My doctor is Carolina Hernandez. She is an excellent gynecologist. Her assistant is great as well. The staff over there have excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend my family and friends there. I want to thank everyone for caring not only about me, but the people that they come across on a daily basis. Thanks for having a profession that goes beyond the call of duty.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Polander’s for almost 12 years and will NEVER leave her or this group. They are the BEST! First class professionalism from the front desk and support staff/nurses. Dr P has been with me through all the stages of my womanhood and has been nothing short of the most compassionate and kindest doctor. She’s always has time for questions and makes you feel like a real person and not just a patient. She’s very smart and considers many treatment options. I cannot recommend the womens group enough! ❤️

Very professional, intelligent, humane, calm, she explains all doubts very well. My English is not very good but she is patient in listening and try to understand. Anne Holloman you’re amazing! Dr.Gorgue has been my doctor for about 5 years and she is fantastic. She treats me like family and that is something very rare to find now a days. Example she will ask how my job is going, how is my family, etc. She is thorough and cares about her patients but prompt and informative. Office is beautiful, very clean and very nice staff. Lucky to have found her! Highly recommend

Annie was awesome from the beginning to the end. She was so knowledgeable and her bedside manners we exceptional. She went over and beyond to meet my expectations. She was caring, she explained everything to me without me even having to ask. She went over health records with me and explained them thoroughly. She took her time. The office staff were so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this office through and through!

The woman’s group in north Tampa is nothing but amazing. The office itself is clean and comfortable. All employees from start to finish were pleasant and accommodating. Dr. Alidina is a angel. She’s such a professional, compassionate doctor! She really cares about what you have to say or concerns you might have. I’m so happy I found this place!

I don't even know where to start. It has taken me months to heal both emotionally and physically from what Dr. Janeen Alidina did to me during my pregnancy. I told her my heart was racing at 3 months pregnant, she suggested Zoloft. I started having an intense pain in my rib cage and told her from 5-8 months pregnant and she reminded me I was obese, (I gained 9 lbs my entire pregnancy) and told me that all pregnant women had pain..suggested it was all in my head. I stopped taking pain medication 8 hours after both of my c sections...I have a high pain tolerance. My blood panels were consistently "off" and the day of my c section I was told it was no big deal. Post baby, I felt like I was dying. I lost 30lbs in a month. I was sent to triage where they didn't even take a urine sample and told that it was my body going back to normal. I was cleared at my 6 week appointment and scheduled my annual. At 7 weeks PP I collapsed at home with my new born and 3 year old and I was alone. My husband took me to the Advent where an MRI showed that my gallbladder needed to be removed, I was in the process of passing a kidney stone, I had a mass on my liver, bowel was partially strangulated and a few other things. None of these things happened over night. After speaking with the physicians at the hospital, they made it clear that both gall stones and kidney stones were common with the second + baby and a simple ultrasound would have caught it during pregnancy. While they may not have operated, they could have at least treated and acknowledged my symptoms instead of making me feel like I was losing my mind and it was all in my head. To make matters worse, I called and left a voicemail requesting that a managing partner contact me so that this didn't happen again. My annual was already schedule with Dr. Mondaca... who delivered my son and was absolutely amazing. I heard nothing for 3 weeks and then received a letter informing me they would no longer treat me. It was taken me months to be able to right this review. I am choosing to move forward with my life and not dwell on the past, but I do think that others have the right to know the lack of accountability they have taken for overlooking something so common... and making me feel like I was not of sound mind. I do recommend Dr. Mondaca and all of the nurses, but Dr. Alidina should be ashamed of herself.

If I could, I would give them 0/5. Idk the name of the lady at the front desk but shs is Latin, black straight hair needs to be fired and needs customer service classes. She is so rude and attacks you for no reason. But my issue with her is not even the tip of the iceberg. My wife and I were expecting our first child and the were coming to this facility every week. (They knew) but no one told us my daughter was breached. When my wife went in labor we were instructed to call and come to the office which we did my wife spoke to the obstetrics nurse (don't know here name but I know she wears glasses) told us just come to office we are ready to evaluate you. We got to the facility, we were taken to a room and were told obstetrics nurse is coming right now too see her. 20 min later she was a no show. I had to step out the room and ask for a doc for someone to come see her. The doc took her to ultrasound and told us baby is breached and if we knew about it. We said no. She said she has been for a while now. She told us to go to hospital right away and was confused why we didn't go to the hospital first. When we got to the hospital the surgeon said the same thing that the baby has been breached for a while. I felt cheated and felt like we meant nothing to them. No one in my family will be coming here again. P.s. If you happen to go here cuz it's close to you just ask for Dr Sasha Gourgue. She is the only one that cares.

This place is amazing. The staff is always so sweet. The atmosphere inside is comforting and beautiful. The Dr. Actually listens to you. My entire experience with The Womens Group North has been amazing. My surgery went perfectly and I can't thank Dr. Barrerio enough for the amazing care she provided. Definitely 10 out of 10. I recommend!

I’m giving 3 stars even though I love the office & staff but I had a horrible experience with the on call nurse Donna. I suffer with anxiety and depression. I’ve been anxious and upset for over a week because I found out I was pregnant then the next day I started bleeding so I’m very blessed that they were able to squeeze me in for a Dr. appointment. I had to get blood work on Tuesday and they requested another blood test 72 hours later which was a Saturday I was told that a on call Dr. would go over my results but i received my results on MyQuest app but no Dr. has called someone who suffers from anxiety I decided to call the nurse line because I was told to do so. They gave me the run around and once a nurse did call instead of asking me what was going on she immediately said “so you think you’re experiencing a miscarriage” I never said that and I’m already upset with the fact idk if I’m pregnant or not also they said it could be a ectopic pregnancy so for her to just assume was a trigger for me because she should never said miscarriage if I didn’t mention it first. Then she hung up on me and she called me back 40 mins later and as I was crying and apologizing for being upset she said I accept your apology in the fakest, coldest voice I ever heard. I’d recommend the office but I hope you never have to speak to the on call nurse Donna, she was awful.

This North Tampa Practice is wonderful! My GYN doctor is the best! She is most professional, listens to you, explains everything so thoroughly as well as an amazing surgeon. I had the bladder lift done. There is no regrets! She gave me time to think about and after giving me good advice and a follow up, I am so happy I got it done. The whole staff at the North Tampa Team are all professional and patient-centered. If you don't have an OB-GYN practice to go to, definitely contact Dr .Judith Barreiro. Also another doctor who I have had the pleasure to meet is Dr. Allison Polender. Kudos to this practice!! Thank you for serving your North Tampa community! I can’t express my gratitude for everyone there. The ultrasound tech in the front room is an angel sent from heaven! Such a sweet soul!! The other ultra sound techs are amazing as well! Dr. Sasha Gorgue is so amazing. Since losing my last pregnancy I am sure I am more anxious and stressed but she puts me at ease everytime telling me no concern is too little of a concern. Just making me feel heard and caring, her bedside manner means so much in these times of uncertainty. I am 20 weeks pregnant and look forward to the care I will be receiving the rest of the pregnancy!

My favorite doctor of all time. Dr. Polender is so amazing. She always takes the time to address my questions and discuss recommendations based on both the current medical evidence and my overall health concerns. I have been going to her since 2014 and I cannot count the number of people I've referred to her.

I’m a new patient to the group and they were all amazing. From the front office staff to the nurses and Dr Polender. They don’t keep you waiting but also I didn’t feel rushed at all. It was a great first visit overall and I’m glad this group was recommended to me.

I love this practice. They can always get you in when needed, answer your calls and are so kind. Midwife Anne is the best. I cannot say about good things about her. From office to hospital everyone here is great and makes you feel so comforted at all times.

Office is pretty and clean. - Ultrasound tech very nice. -Dr. Gourgue is nice. -Dr. Alidina doesn't listen to the patient. Had an appointment with Dr. Alidina I was recommended by my PCP to have an ablation due to severe anemia she talked me out it ( said I was too young I was 40 at the time)put me on the mini pill had horrible reaction to minipill. She should have listened to what me and PCP wanted. -Dr. Hernandez is condescending, talks down to patient. Not good bedside manners at all.

I have been at patient at the Women's Group in North Tampa for a few years, and my primary physician, Dr. Hernandez, has been exceptional with my care. I recently gave birth to my first baby, and could not be anymore pleased with the care I received from Dr. Mondaca during my labor and delivery. She was incredibly encouraging, patient, and compassionate throughout the entirely of the process for me, my baby girl, as well as my husband. We are forever thankful for the experience we shared as we brought our first child into this world!

People at the claim dept never submit your claim to your insurance.instead they wait until you show up to your appointment to ask for a full amount of the service and your insurance company advised no pre-authorization was submitted. And no claim has been presented for payment. They will not present your insurance as describe on their paperwork.

The entire team at The Woman's Group North Tampa are simply amazing. I am so glad I found them before becoming pregnant, I don't know how I would of done it all without them. Each physician is very personable and attentive to your needs and concern. Communication is excellent, someone always gets back to you in a timely fashion and reaches out to you with updates and answers to all your inquiries. I would 1000% recommend any woman to seek care at The Woman's Group North Tampa.

Despite being busy the Dr. Was ll extremely pleasant. She portioned ample opportunity to ask questions and showed interest in my health. I was impressed how quickly she made it into the room. Normally at another office the wait time is always an hour or more for the visit. Despite this location being much further I will likely book my annual visits at this location. Highly recommend.
