๐Ÿ˜  This was the worst center I've ever been to. The staff was so rude and just there for a paycheck. They'd drag their feet any time you ask them for something or just straight up not do it. I asked the techs 4 different times if I could have clothes out of the donation bin and finally one of them goes... People often mention people, staff, family,

This was the worst center I've ever been to. The staff was so rude and just there for a paycheck. They'd drag their feet any time you ask them for something or just straight up not do it. I asked the techs 4 different times if I could have clothes out of the donation bin and finally one of them goes "YOU GUYS OWE ME" to the other techs and goes to get some clothes. I heard another tech say "I CAN'T WAIT TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!" Seriously? If you don't care about people why are you working there? Pleaseeeeee go work somewhere else. Another thing.. the doors are supposed to be unlocked until 9am. They locked them at 7AM when we went to breakfast and didn't unlock them until 2PM. Are you kidding me? No one could take a shower or brush their teeth or anything until 2PM. Their reason was "oh well they'll just stay in their rooms all day if we don't lock them." Okay. A lot of people there are on medications that make them very sleepy and an extra hour of sleep after breakfast would have helped them a lot. Instead of sleeping in beds, a lot of people were just sleeping in the hallway. Maybe 10 out of the 30 of us were. They have a schedule posted of daily activities for the day. We RARELY had the group therapies that were posted. I was there for 3 days and there was maybe.. 2 group meetings that they held? The bathrooms were absolutely disgusting. The soap dispenser in the main bathroom was empty the entire time I was there. They didn't have anywhere to put trash so one of the ladies that wore adult diapers would just leave it on the floor. I mean what else is she going to do with it I guess???? All in all, this place was a total hell hole. Abusive staff and disgusting bathrooms. Not ALL of the staff was awful maybe 1 or 2 people that helped me were nice. When you get discharged they have you fill out a survey and they were offended when I put that I would not recommend their facility to anyone. Hahahaha ok.

Staff were great at communication, friendly, and very concise in explaining things. They were really short staffed and wait times are ridiculous. Some patients waited four days for a place on the ward. There were no beds or pillows and the facility was always out of basic hygiene products. Nothing to do other than sit in fancy recliners and try to sleep, or sit in the rec-room and watch TV with a vchip, and color. The food was bland though there was always plenty. All around the facility was in shambles and looked dilapidated. Not a great experience, take your loved ones elsewhere. Needs new management, better funding, and a renovation.

They sent my 10 yo daughter to a hospital for treatment. (She fell & hurt her arm) They did not tell me where they sent her nor did they provide discharge instructions from the hospital. I had to call around before getting some one at Gracepoint to tell me which ER they sent her to. If you can avoid sending your child's here;please do so. They don't care about the children. It's a paycheck for some of the staff

The treatment of family members is important when in crisis! I would have left 5 negative stars but was unable to do so here. The staff were not honest, or transparent and treated my family member without respect or human. Even when someone is in crisis, a facility such as this should respect both those inside and out, providing internal and external customer service that is above reproach. HIPPA violations occurred where this organization reached out to people that were not family members about the patient and violated the trust of both the client and family. They lied on several different occasions to cover the previous lies. Staff provided bogus number (goggle) numbers when trying to call them. The place had roaches, was not clean, the phone lines never worked. The organization claims to provide group and therapy sessions, which is a total and complete lie! I complained to the case manager the concerns that were brought to my attention by my family member and she claimed she would "look" into them. She didn't. (Laura). My family member was man handled by one of the staff, and the nurse called me and told me that one medication was being provided only to find out that was not the case and the medication was changed without me knowing. My family member was forced to take a medication that she did not agree with due to the side effects and the reason for the institution providing this medication and was "blackmailed" into taking the medication in order to be released & sent home after being there for 12 days. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a family member dealing with mental crisis or issues. ALL people should be treated with decency & respect no matter what! The funding that this organization is receiving should be pulled immediately! The level of trauma sustained by my loved one further exacerbated her emotions. "Help is here." "Hope is here." Is a bunch of crock!

I voluntarily checked myself in to this facility twice. My biggest complaint is no one cares about bathrooms hardly at all. Any time i went to go wash my hands i never had any soap. I mostly resorted to using hand sanitizer. But this place is kinda underrated. Its got its faults but when your in crisis this place is a lifesaver.

Keeping the issue simple, this center can not handle Autism or any child that is autistic in any way, this isnโ€™t a location for help for them, this will only hurt the child.

I am writing this review to give praise to a shining star among the staff - Will Schmidt- and praise to the Care Coordination Team. I was in a bad place with my mental health, and after repeated trips here I was getting nowhere. That is, until CCT was introduced to me. The stabilization/crises unit needs more funding, and more beds. It needs work. But Will, along with other members of CCT, really stepped in and saved me. Helped me get back on my feet, helped me get the medications I needed, really saved my life. I will always be grateful to Will and CCT. The gracepoint crisis unit may have its faults, but I was able to do a complete 180 and turn my life around because of the help of these people.

I know I already left a review, but I remember this place fondly, and can't stress enough how much I felt better just being away from society for awhile, and the staff here actually were concerned about me. It's not the fanciest place, but no matter what this place is still great when you have nowhere else to turn.

Just read that in the news "More people died from suicide in the United States last year than any other year on record, according to provisionalย dataย from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At least 49,449 lives were lost due to intentional self-harm in 2022 โ€” nearly 15 deaths for every 100,000 people." Seems thoose stupid place at just to make money like any business. Thoose baker act are just joke, if people want to Killing themselves they do it and don't bother to tell anyone. If they tell it they won't do it they just trying to provoque. That really the best way for teenager to bother they parents saying stupid self arm stuff be baker act and having they parents wasted money. ๐Ÿ™„ and they miss school why there.
