Every single person from the greeter to the receptionists to the vet tech to the vet to the billing person, were kind and patient. They got me in last minute and were gentle and loving with the scared little stray kittens Iā€™m fostering.

First time visiting the new facility and I was thoroughly impressed with the design, staff and cleanliness of the entire facility! The reception area is welcoming and easy to locate. I was especially impressed with the cat viewing/petting areas. It allows you to get up close and personal with prospective felines. The staff were friendly and helpful. This facility really beats animal services of Hillsborough County and is a great charity to give to if you are so inclined, money well spent!

Very unprofessional. When I first walked in to surrender my rabbit I was getting looks and stared at by staff. The second time I came in the same thing happened and I got attitude from staff. I had an appointment and I waited 45 minutes to ask what was taking so long and they already forgot I was there and the reason I was there. It was like I walked in the door again. I got attitude from the staff once more and they were rude about their answers and didnā€™t tell patients that they were short staffed. If they wouldā€™ve told me that when I first got there, I wouldā€™ve been understanding. They also wasted my time for almost 2 hours.

Worked here at the humane society of Tampa bay animal shelter for two years Iā€™d give it a zero star they only care about money an politics full of drama and miscommunication lots of criminals work there and some had said very uncomfortable things to me or other volunteers. Maybe like three people in that entire building really care about the animals. This is all about power money politics and drama. The manager for my department Tony Shared all my information that I shared with ceo with people I spoke about as well as CEO sharing my confidential email to people I spoke about(Putting my life at risk and sons life) How professional. If you bring your animal here there is a high chance it will not make it out alive. Iā€™ve witnessed horrible things do not come here.If your animals is scared has anxiety or is a pit bull they will put your dog down without giving it time or proper ā€œbehavior assessmentsā€. If you have a Guinea pig they leave em outside in a new ā€œpig penā€ but the heat is killing them so Iā€™m not sure if they have the Guinea pigs outside after most of them being found dead or pregnant from them misgendering Guinea pigs.Adoption floor is never cleaned properly so animals constantly getting sick. So be mindful of the animal you take home make sure they are dewormed up to date on there shots and prevention or even make sure itā€™s the right gender because they miss those things a-lot.

Had to have out senior kitty put to sleep today. These people do God's work, caring compassionate and kind. Very respectful. If your looking for a place for your furbaby to move on, this is the place. Reasonably priced also. We get to pick up our cats ashes in a few days and they made a plastercast of her paw.
