Dr. Farooq is hands down one of the best doctors I have ever been to. He made me feel extremely comfortable and not at all embarrassed - as the area was quite personal and I am a young woman. 3 weeks ago I finally went to see him for a pain that I had been experiencing for months. 3 weeks after that initial appointment and I am recovering from my procedure that took care of everything! He was impressively efficient and very informative about everything, reassuring me he is going to take care of me and make me better. I most definitely recommend him and his amazing staff for any and all your ColoRectal concerns.

Just began treatment here a few weeks ago and this place is outstanding. Dr. Farooq is extremely knowledgeable in his practice and also has a very personable type of attitude towards people. From what I saw he also takes great care of his staff as well which is amazing. If you need your issue taken care of promptly come here. Had my second treatment session and Dr. Farooq and his staff are phenomenal. They care about their patients and the wait is extremely minimal. Dr. Farooq gets in and gets results.

My first treatment here. Staff late for uptake. I met first an intern, then a nurse. When I was bent over the exam table with a camera stuck inside me, the doctor entered, said hello to my backside and told the nurse that I needed a colonoscopy. He left. This was my "visit" with the doc. He was probably in the room under 20 seconds. I was prescribed a $55 cream which has to be ordered from a compound pharmacy and shoved into a colonoscopy. The entire experience had the feel of an operation run to extract maximum profit. Maximum. Profit.

I was nervous about starting treatment but I felt very supported by the staff and medical providers at ColoWell. They did a thorough assessment and ensured I was part of the decision making process when they presented the treatment plan. I feel much better and absolutely recommend!

The hallmark of a successful medical business! Bravo!! The security at the entrance is very tight, intercom, buzzer door release, camera, the works. Located in the seclusion of the semi industrial area, parking is a no hassle. Upon entering, this business begins to reveal the gem in store for the prospective patient. It is a Beautiful spacious environment, modern interior, functional design and clean inviting atmosphere. Where this establishment ultimately shines however, is with the warm genuine patient care. You get the feeling you’re with family, and you’ve known these people for a lifetime. I truly felt these people actually cared about me and I was not just another another data point or income ticket. The warm familiar treatment started with the phone conversation. I was instructed as to what was needed for the first visit and other basic instructions, notably their strict no-show policy. The receptionist were awesome and most friendly. All this warm friendly treatment culminated with nurse yang and Dr Farooq. Beautiful people! You are spoken to with deep abiding concerns. They took the time to explain and gave me space to digest and comprehend what was being said. Very beautiful indeed. If you have no medical reasons to visit this establishment, it is worth the visit if only for the sheer experience of how people ought to be treated, sick or not. A very good reminder that we are all in the ship of life together and not necessarily in a race for profit, wealth and gain. Thank you Dr Farooq and your support team for running a top notch operation. At least that’s how I experienced it.

Dr. Shiraz Farooq is very caring and professional!! I have been bounce in Spring Hill from doctors with no diagnosis or response to my questions! Then my daughter mentioned to me about dr Farooq , and I was able to schedule an appointment with him!! Him and his staff are very helpful!The office is very clean, they were able to get my medical records very fast! They called me and texted me about my appointment coming up!! I highly recommend dr Farooq!!

I have chosen not to give one star because the clinician seems helpful. We will see if the prescribed treatment works. The experience at any doctor's office begins with the staff. The rude woman who took my information said they had no record of my appointment, even though they had all of my information. After this, she insisted that my insurance was not current, and that their billing department is "never wrong." While she was supposedly looking for a solution, she was cursing in Spanish, which I am assuming she assumed I could not understand. After having to call my insurance company myself, who of course verified that I am current, I was checked in. Adding insult to injury, after having mispronounced my name several times, I finally corrected her. As I was being called by the practitioner, I could hear her mocking me, "My name is Joan, my name is Joan," to her colleagues. I suppose I should not be surprised that a woman who could not distinguish the words "effective" from "expiration" on my insurance card would have trouble with my name, but at the very least she could have apologized for both my inconvenience and the errors she made along the way. One benefit of good health is often overlooked - not having to deal with incompetent staff.

I called a few different places before calling Dr Farooq's office. My first interaction was with Sydney, his office manager and spouse. I don't feel I received the proper care over the years from previous doctors. When I mentioned that with her, she insured me this provider would be different. From there, she gave me an honest estimate of what my bill would be and from time I stepped into the building (which is really clean...bathrooms included-because I judge EVERY business by the cleanliness of the entry and their bathrooms) I felt comfortable and welcomed. I did have to redo the paperwork I had already done online, but they handed me an iPad and it was quick. The nurse (Stacey) was thorough (I ask the same question 3 different ways when I'm second guessing myself), Jennifer (no longer working there...but I wish her the best because she was also tolerant of my 21 questions) and the rest of the staff were very accommodating. I had two procedures with Dr Farooq and he was kind and compassionate every step of the way (just as Sydney promised). I had questions and was panicking last minute but he walked up me, looked me in my eyes while gently grabbing my arm then said. "Don't worry, you are in good hands." Once I heal up, I will update this review with the outcome. I'm private about my health concerns and do not usually do reviews on providers unless I really feel there can be someone out there that can benefit like I did. Even if one person sees this and gets the great care I did. I waited/was pushed to the side about this condition because other providers made it seem like nothing. Dr Farooq and his staff got me in and out from initial contact to final procedure yesterday within 2 months. I hope this review helps someone. Dr. Farooq is amazing. He helped me immediately for multiple issues and his fiber/probiotic gummies immediately changed my life. I trust him completely. Everyone is super nice in this place. I love Ana the most, she's beautiful and so nice. I first called on the day of Hurricane Idalia and Ana went far out of her way to get me in to see the Doctor the same day.

This place is designed to extract as much money as possible. Their front office staff are liars as well. Made and appointment for treatment. Was given no explanation until 24 hours the day before which also happens to be the cancellation fee policy that my copay would be 123.54 dollars. yeah, no. the copay was 45 and the rest was for treatment but the front office staff (miriam) could not articulate that and instead chose to say that they were not the one i had talked to before. Then she hung up the phone when i said i wanted to cancel. Thats fine if you want to be unprofessional and be in it purely for the money, which is clear no matter what scripted response from the office manager comes. But stop lying and hiding behind the excuse of language barriers. I'm bilingual as well. I dont play games with nonsense people. Go ahead and try to charge me a cancellation fee.

I was experiencing pain 10/10 for 5 days and referred to Dr.FAROOQ from multiply other Drs. I also read prob 50 reviews that were all very helpful. I was able to get in with in a few days of my first phone call. I called to see if they had any cancellations the next day because my pain was debilitating & they were able to squeeze me in that afternoon….Thanks Sydney! Once at the office WOW! Everyone was so nice, the building was nice, clean and welcoming. This for sure isn’t a easy appointment and my anxiety was at a level 10 along with my pain, but from the moment we checked and sat down with Dr Stacy my nervous (not my pain ) settled down. She explained everything in detail to us (my husband was there every step of the way) before and after the exam, and we were able to come up with a plan that hopefully will take care of my pain. I would recommend to anyone in the future. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was really scared to go to see Dr Farooq as I hadn’t been to this type of doctor in many years, but I must say he makes you comfortable and listens attentively, the staff are fabulous as well. You feel like you’re at home with friends. Colowell America deserves the five starts.

Oh my goodness I can NOT say enough about this amazing practice!! All of the staff are so kind. I've seen the nurse practitioner twice, Stacy!! She is beyond kind, helpful , patient, funny, & explains everything!!! I've had this same procedure done with another practice & was in INSANE pain for weeks!! Especially 1st couple days! When she did it, I was expecting the same pain......Nope! Uncomfortable yes, pain level, maybe 2ish off & on 1st day. Next day, nothing! I'm beyond grateful!!!!!! I have a few more procedures & not scared at all!!!! Thank you God for allowing me to find them 🙏 ❤ they are my forever booty docs 🤣🤣💩💪 Got to meet Dr. Farooq my last appt & he is SO awesome! So kind & personal. He helped me a lot & explained a better method for me to start doing to help my bowels more naturally. He talked with me, hugged me, & was so positive & supportive on my road to recovery!! He & Stacy are an amazing team! It feels amazing to know you are in great hands with both! What a huge blessing!!! Their staff is just the sweetest 💕 can't say enough about the environment! They are all so genuine ❤

By and large, it was fine. However, after two visits in which the ladies administered the procedures, I finally had a one-on-one meeting with the doctor, and he showed obvious annoyance with my questions. I'm not a longwinded person, so I would have kept the meeting fairly short. Perhaps he had a long hard day.

Dr Farooq and his whole staff is amazing. I phoned at 2:00 p.m. that I was having stomach distress and they got me in to see the doctor within the hour. It is great to see a doctor who cares when their patient is in pain and is willing to get them in immediately. I came in with a paper of all my symptoms and questions. Before he left the room, the doctor asked if he had answered all the questions on my sheet. I felt heard and cared for. Thank you

That's a win. 5/23/23 Had first RBL appt yesterday. Quicker and far less painful than expected. Love the cleanliness of this practice and moreover; the friendliness of the staff (nice, considering why I'm there) 🙂 After initial skepticism after phone conversations; I am pleasantly surprised by the reception I received on my first visit. This is an extremely friendly, efficient and clean office. I am completely at ease thus far; leading up to my next visit. More to come.

Dr. Farooq is amazing doctor and an amazing person! I am very grateful that the doctor was always in touch with me after the Surgery, helped and answered all my questions. I also had great Experience from visiting the clinic and communicating with all the staff. If You call you will always be answered within a maximum of 5 minutes or will be called back as soon as possible. The clinic itself is very clean, bright and comfortable.

I highly recommend Dr. Farooq and his team. I was lucky to find him after being misdiagnosed by another doctor which made my problem worse. He gave me great information to help me heal faster and without surgery. I was able to get in quickly and when I called I was able to speak to him directly!! Very professional and caring.

Over the past year Dr Farooq and his skilled team helped me through a year worth of surgeries and healing and I am finally cured. Fistulas are NO JOKE. Amazing staff & a wonderful doctor. From the moment you walk in facilities are meticulously kept & all,safety protocols are taken. I was helped by two really sweet assistants that made sure I understood the entire process,all my costs & planned medical care. I recently had a "new patient" appointment that could not have gone better. Let me start by saying that I was impressed with how clean the facility was! I wish that every medical establishment was this clean. Further, Dr. Farooq and his staff were very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. They took time to answer all of my questions and they alleviated any concerns that I may have had about my up coming procedures. I highly recommend them to anyone who is experiencing colo-rectal issues that need a physician's attention. Update: On 26 November 2022 Dr. Farooq performed the surgery (hemorrhoidectomy) that I needed. He visited me and my wife in the recovery room, gave us his personal number, told us to call him that evening, and he said, "I am here for my patients." I had my first follow-up appointment yesterday. Recovery takes time and it is painful, but I am grateful to be in the care of Dr. Farooq. Again, don't hesitate to make an appointment with ColoWell America should you need their expertise. I don't think that you will regret it.

The appointment process was very easy. I was able to get an appointment within a few days. The online health records system was convenient for checking in and completing information before the visit. The office called ahead of time to confirm my copay. The office staff were welcoming. The doctor and PA we're both very good. They explained everything before doing it and then walked through each step as they did it. I would recommend this practice.

Dr Farooq has saved me twice from disaster. He also helped me right away with very short notice, as in within 24 hours of asking for help. Both times he did an outstanding job and I’ve had tremendous success. The office is very clean and the staff is extremely professional. I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Poor communication on the Dr.s part and the staff. They have not responded to my refill requests. And asking him any questions about my health during in office procedures were strange because he would just continue walking out the door as i spoke to him. I felt very unimportant there and that i was a bother to staff! The hype of the videos is a big distraction.
