Ridiculous wait times. Came in for an exemption form and waited almost THREE HOURS. For a form. At 11 they told us Told us we’d be seen at 1:15. Didn’t get called back until 2. Nurse took 60 seconds to print ONE FORM and we were done. Why they couldn’t do that at 11 or right there at the front is apparently beyond their thinking skills. When I called before hand they said the form I needed was not appointment based and we could only get it with walk in. We did not need a nurse to walk us through the form. Just give us the stupid form and let us leave. INSANE.

The only reason I'm giving it two stars because the vaccinations are free. But honestly coming from an actual patient, This place has lazy workers. I arrived an hour early before opening so I can at least be the first person to be seen. Turns out I was wrong. Some Immigrants who had arrived after me were seen first before me. All I needed was one vaccination (Hepatitis B) that only takes 30 seconds to be put in but instead I had to wait for 2 hours in the lobby. The whole time waiting, I've seen nurses walking back and forth through small hallways and talking to each other CONSTANTLY instead of calling patients back to be seen for 30 second procedures (vaccinations). They walk around inside the building even in the lobby with your personal information on clipboards being flashed for people to see. Like what the heck is wrong with these people? Not only that, the place wasn't even crowded on 9/7/17 and they still took hours to see a patient. Once they call you back, they keep forcing down this Polio vaccination on people. They would claim that you need it before you leave from there but all it is, is a money thing. NOBODY WANTS THE VIRUS IN THE VACCINATIONS PEOPLE!!! I had told them previously on the first visit ever that I didn't want Polio and they still put it in the system for me to take it. NOBODY WANTS THE VIRUS IN THE VACCINATIONS PEOPLE!!! But the only reason I had to get vaccinations was for school but Polio wasn't a requirement. I can honestly say, if you got a kid and need free vaccinations, then this is the place to go . But don't try to come early because even when you do, you'll still have to wait hours and days until getting seen. So grab you a blanket and some snacks before coming to this place.

This place is the worst!! What’s the point of giving an appointment if you are going to make people wait for hours. Employees are extremely slow. I saw a nurse finish up with a patent and 45 mins later call the next person. They are constantly crossing from one side to the other and chatting with coworkers. Ridiculous!! I finally ended up leaving without being seen.

So, you make an appointment for a vaccine form to be signed and wait 1.5hrs plus..... Horrible service for something very simple.

I had an appointment at 1:00 pm for the vaccination required to apply for the green card. As instructed, I got 15 minutes before my appointment at the office at 8605 N Mitchell Ave, Tampa, FL 33604. I went to the front window where a gentleman took my information and said I was good and should be called shortly. One hour later I went to ask him how much longer it would take for me to be seen since there was only another couple and me in the waiting room, he rudely responded that it would be another 30-45 minutes and that it did not matter for how long I have been waiting for. By 3:30 pm I was not been seen yet. There were not short-staffed since plenty of people were walking around and joking behind the glass. These people will treat you like garbage, they will not consider your time or the fact that you can be as nice as you can and still be treated like you don’t matter. I strongly advise getting the vaccines somewhere else, even if they are more expensive you will be saving money because you won’t be wasting hours of your time.

They didn't attend to me. I arrived at 3:58, they serve until 4:30 and their schedule says until 5:00 pm!!! We did not understood!

An exceptional place, the attention was excellent, the staff had human quality in customer service, and especially Dr. Tachelle and Mr. Antonio who helped us all the time with the process we were carrying out.

I was there before opening @ 7:30 and the fifth person in line (second person there for vaccines). They had many employees walking floor an going in and out of doors. However they did not call the fist person until 50 minutes later. How ridiculous is this? There was not a care, concern, or respect for people's time. Once seen by nurse she was extremely professional and informative. I believe her name is Lashawn.

My friends and I checked in first but the nurse never called until I asked them to. They served everyone else who checked in after we did. Is this not a first come first serve service? Very disorganized facility. Some staffs don’t even wear mask during Covid pandemic.

Was forced to come here for rabies vaccine. Came Friday at 1pm to be told only 1 person in the whole building can do the rabies shot and to go to TGH ER (cost me money). Was told to come back first thing Monday (today) and ask for Adrian. I did, and I've been waiting for 2 hours. Told me Friday they didn't see my appointment for Monday, when there is a strict time frame and protocol for rabies vaccines, and they're the ones who scheduled me? Didn't answer Friday when the ER called as per protocol to start my vaccines. This place is a joke and honestly I'd rather get rabies next time than deal with this incompetence.

A very good place, they serve you with great professionalism.

Nurses are just hanging out with the receptionist and making people wait hours past their appointment time. They want to get paid to gossip and waste peoples time

The crew here really went above and beyond today. Some people go the extra mile and that was my experience today. My nurse, Tachelle was such a help to me and the gentleman, who’s name I did get, who assisted in getting everything done really saved me hours and hours of hassle by accommodating me in a difficult circumstance. Thank you so much.

Everyone I encountered here today was AMAZING! Willing to help, positive, reassuring! I spent 3 hours there since I wasn’t feeling the best after each shot. They even brought me food because I was getting sick from not eating before hand 🥺 couldn’t ask for a better staff! Great job!!!!

No sense in even having an appointment. My appointment was for 3pm it's now 4:10 and I'm still waiting.

Super slow, there are not even that many ppl here. My appt was for an hour ago....smh ....still waiting.. Updating my review because Cynthia was so nice. Once I got in, she had all forms ready.

Avoid this location at all costs. Had to wake up at 445am to get in line here by 6am from Wimauma just to be told at 8am they they are only taking 7 families today. With a line of 60 people here, why are they even open?? You have a better chance winning the lottery than getting your kid an immunization shot here. This is the 2nd day in a row we came and was told the same thing. Someone fix this system they have going on here or just close the place down seriously. A waste of people's time, and looking at the other reviews, many feel the same way over the last few years. My kid still can't get his shots and is now missing 3 days of school.

Made an appointment today to receive benefits for my twins who will be arriving soon. June was the representative that helped me and she was absolutely amazing. She gave me all of the information I needed plus more, and was such a joy to work with. I really appreciate her help and kindness

Excellent service and very attentive staff. They provide accurate information and help on vaccinations for children and immigration procedures. Cubans can approve vaccination cards made in Cuba.

So the staff seems nice enough however the process here is beyond pathetic! Here at 6am waiting to open, get registered by 7:30, one of the first. Told to be back at 10:15 and was back on site at 10. Here it is 1:47 and i am still yet to have my daughter seen...... HORRIBLE

Appointment at 830, two hours later we are still waiting. Everyone is waiting. Don’t come here if you have something to do other than wait. Bring something to distract your kids The men’s restroom is out of order The people are nice, they do their best. I think our nurse was La’Shawn(a?), very friendly with exhausted and emotional kids getting vaccines.

You don’t need an appointment because they don’t honor appointments. Only one staff member working for the whole office so you can just walk in and take a seat. Extremely behind, rude and the de excuse of short staffed is getting old. Don’t make appointments for clients/mothers if you have no one available to take them. We are asked to bring and provide so much, do our part for them to not do theirs. Unacceptable. I’ve been sitting here an hour after my appointment time watching the rep wait for a translator for a walk in while making the appointments wait. It’s pure madness.

I visited to update my vacancies information. I came at 11:10 am I ended up wait till 3:5 pm. I don't know why I have to wait that long to update my information. The ladies in the desk literally don't know what they are talking about. They want me to take the vaccine again even though I had it from another state.

September 6th, 2023 8:40am I made an appointment for my daughter to receive immunizations ahead of time. The appointment was set to be at 7:50am. Arrived at 7:30. After waiting in line, I checked in at 7:40. By 8:30 she’d yet to be called. I checked with the receptionist as to how much longer since she wasn’t called. After discussing with her colleague, she inform me that my daughter wouldn’t be called for another hour!!!! No explanation given as to why it would take so long. What is the point of a doctor’s appointment if they will not honor the appointment? After half hour later she was called to inform me they couldn’t do the immunizations.

People are friendly and helpful but appointments are ignored and you will wait hours for a simple thing. I wish the manager at this place can get a grip on scheduling

A lot of these Nurse Practitioners should not work here especially Jonathan for denying me medical treatment because of my mental health issues. Totally unprofessional. Knowing that I could be saved within a 72 hour marker and allowing me to purchase my medicine at cost. He turned me away where I will be passed my 72 hours because I had to drive to an ER and I have to wait now and it could take hours before I get this medicine thar would save my life from changing to the worst. Even though there is no guarantee ever in life. The fact that they are denying poor people like me medically necessary supplies that is sitting in a building somewhere is unbelievable. I couldn't believe that I was treated this way and I have had several terrible experiences at different Health Departments. I am truly sorry for anyone who has experienced this same kind of behavior and have something like this or similar.I don't think it has to do with it but I also was let go from my job 5 days ago and I was only making 12.50 an hour working 28 hours a week. I was cut back my hours a few weeks before and I have been trying to make things work. Please be well everyone. Take care.
