    Marilyn is so kind, caring, encouraging and great at what she does. I learn so much from her and having her challenge and encourage me is a positive investment in my health and ability to reach my fitness goals.

    Marilyn is excellent trainer, she listens to individual needs and work very closely with students. Her understanding of the human body is great and she is very observant. I have gained great results within last few months too.

    Since I started Yoga & Core exercise with the one & only Marilyn I have noticed a big difference in the way my muscles & joints feel. Not only is she very knowledgable but also very observant.     I’m new to this kind of exercise and Marilyn is so calm and helpful with posture positioning and encouragement. I just turned 60 and wanted to relieve some joint pain and increase flexibility as well as improve my balance. I’ve only been at it for 2 weeks and I see improvement in all of these areas as well as my energy has improved noticeably. I’m so glad I found Marilyn!

    Marilyn is THE BEST. She listens to all your health history and concerns and is constantly evaluating your body and what it needs during your sessions. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach: she’s iterating every session based on how your body is responding in any given situation. She pushes you, but kindly—and I am so motivated by her encouraging nature. I’m so glad I found her!

    Marilyn is an awesome trainer and fitness instructor. She makes exercising fun and she really takes the time to make sure your form is correct. My flexibility has increased dramatically! I thought I would always feel stiff but I am amazed that a few tips she gave me makes me feel SO MUCH BETTER!

    Marilyn Moss knows her stuff! Her understanding of the human body and how it works is more than impressive. Every session she amazes by finding muscles that are under used. Best of all, she’s a delight to work with: no nonsense, non-judgmental, very supportive, and very attentive to individual needs. I highly recommend Marilyn to anyone serious about getting into shape in a straightforward, positive process.

    Marilyn is a treasure in the world of fitness. I've been working out with her for the last 2 months and I have seen a noticeable amount of improvement in my balance and flexibility. She takes the time to ask if you have any limitations and will work within them. Her core workout is A+. I highly recommend her to anyone at any age. If I can do it, so can you. I'm 66 and walking taller and stronger.. Hats off to Marilyn!

    Marilyn is a phenomenal trainer. I never took fitness seriously until I turned 48 and realized my body was starting to struggle. Marilyn did a phenomenal job helping me learn to stretch, do calisthenics, and use weights to build my strength and flexibility. She is very thoughtful and considerate in her approach. Her workouts are challenging and effective. I have never felt like she pushed me too hard or belittled me. She is very positive and personable. Working out with her has changed my relationship with my body and greatly improved my life. I can’t recommend her highly enough.

    Marilyn is fantastic! In my first class, she noticed my bad posture from seating in front of a computer all day. She helped me correct it and showed me some easy exercises I could do at home. Since then, I’ve been attending her weekly classes since and overall I feel much better. My back pain disappeared and my balance is improving. Marilyn is wonderful and I highly recommend her classes!

    Excellent instructor! I've taken several classes with Marilyn, and she really pays attention to the individual needs of each participant. Her classes are a great combination of both flexibility and balance training. The moves can be modified for all skill levels. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about fitness and how your body moves and works. She also recommends stretches and form to work on your own. I would highly recommend her to people of all fitness levels.

    I had 15 minutes with her to evaluate my issue. I haven't been feeling well because of my back for 4 years now. Couldn't play tennis which is the sport that I love. In 15 minutes she helped release my muscles and I felt relieved. Can't wait to book more sessions! Definitely recommend it.

    Two months ago I was always in pain and my digestive system was always upset. I could barely go for walks because how bad the pain was. Marilyn has helped me completely change the way I eat and I haven’t been in any pain since. I feel healthier and have lost 15lbs! I am so grateful!

    I was fortunate to have Marilyn as a private Personal Trainer for 30 mins at a public event & was really impressed with her. She immediately noticed the weakness in my posture, walk, etc. throughout the time I was with her. She was there to correct & strengthen areas I needed to work on. She is intuitive, well educated in her field with many yrs of experience. Not to mention kind, respectful and fun to be around. If you are looking for a PT, give her a try!

    Marilyn is a great trainer. In just a few short weeks, I could already tell the difference her workouts made on my posture. Having a desk job naturally rolls my shoulders forward for that "iHunch" look. My goal was to correct that, and working with her made that so much easier. I'm really happy with my results! Not only can I see them, but more importantly, I can feel them.

    For the last couple of months, I have been participating in Marilyn's one hour fitness class "Flat Belly/Strong Core" and "Balanced Stretch". The class is currently offered on Saturday mornings at the Florida Blue Center on Westshore Blvd in Tampa. I am really enjoying working out with Marilyn. She has a passion for physical fitness and is extremely knowledgeable. My personal goal was/is to improve my posture and strengthen my upper back. The exercises and stretches we are doing during the class are making a big difference. Marilyn provided me, as well as other participants in the class, with targeted advice, adjusted to individual needs. I highly recommend working out with Marilyn.

    I have been working out with Marilyn for over 11 years. I am 74 years old and I’m indebted to Marilyn for having kept me in great shape. She’s a personable trainer with an excellent knowledge of the musculoskeletal system. Early on I was having knee pain and she felt it was coming from my back. Sure enough my knee pain resolved after we worked on the appropriate muscle groups. She is A+ all around!

    I initially reached out to Marilyn at functional fitness guru because of nagging back pain. I am pleased to say that our workouts alleviated my back pain very quickly. Once the back pain was gone, Maryland increased the intensity of our workouts to help me reach my new goals which included participating in adventurous Travel. Workouts are always tailored to meet my needs. They are hard work but a lot of fun! I actually look forward to working out now and feel a huge difference in my overall well-being! When I began working out with Marilyn, we did it locally and in person. I have since moved out of state and our workouts are now virtual.I was initially a little bit wary about virtual workouts, but they have been every bit as good. And, as an additional benefit, the virtual training has made it easy to fit in extra workouts that may only be 15 to 30 minutes. I get my best workouts with Marilyn! She is knowledgeable, professional and fun and I highly recommend her!

    Marilyn is my Functional Fitness Guru and I am seeing measurable improvement and progress each week. I am most impressed by her knowledge of the body’s muscles and how to soothe any tenderness I may feel any where. The continuous check on my body’s feedback makes me confident that I have Marilyn’s focused attention throughout our time together. This is the best exercise program that I have undertaken in years!

    Marilyn is truly my guru! I've been thru chiropractic, physical therapy, and orthopedics and occasionally using a cane, spending a great portion of my life in pain. But since I have been stretching with Marilyn, my back has never felt better and the cane went back into the closet. She knew how to design a program to fit my abilities and my limitations, as well as my schedule, and she is always available for questions and assistance. This is a great program!

    When I first started working out with Marilyn six months ago, I had severe back pain and poor balance. After one session my back felt much better and I canceled my orthopedic doctor appointment. She was also able to help me with a terrible knee problem. She decided it was coming from my balance issues and started exercises which gave me wonderful relief. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to get fit safely. She follows up with videos and complete instructions.The videos she gives me are not generic, she customized them for me ! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

    Marilyn is a pleasure to work with. She develops an exercise plan that is specific to your needs. She is great about checking in with me during the session to make sure that everything feels good. She has even reached out to my physical therapist to make sure that we are doing the best exercise program for me! In addition, she sends periodic texts with messages of inspiration - so appreciated. I am just starting my journey with her, but am already starting to feel stronger.

    Working with Marilyn has been wonderful. I have lost weight and inches, and gained flexibility and stamina. Her willingness to work around my crazy work schedule, which often means last minute changes to workouts, is very appreciated. I Recommend her to anyone who wants that personal touch. I am over sixty and have neglected my fitness for years so it is never too late to start.
