We love this restaurant located in Midtown Tampa. This was our third time there. It is a beautiful restaurant with an open environment. It is on the pricey side, but for the quality of the food, it is worth it. The food was amazing, tasty, and fresh. The menu options were very creative and offered something for everyone. Their coffee was great, and the drinks were good. They offer seasonal options and all dishes were delicious. The staff was friendly but the service was just fine. We will be back to try different options on the menu.

What a great place in Midtown Tampa! It’s one of the newer restaurants in town, The food there is delicious!!!! Service is great, prices are not so high. It will definitely be my new favorite place. The Vegan burger was my favorite!

Pretty sweet experience! The same great consistency from True Food Kitchen as their other joints. I got the Teriyaki Tofu Bowl which was super tasty, good flavor and a well balanced dish. We also shared the Pear and Honey Flatbread which was the knockout and show stopper, delicious! My friend got the Parmesan Chicken which looked pretty dry and was therefore really bland unfortunately. The eatery joint itself is nice, modern, clean and a minimalist laid back vibe makes it a comfortable place to grub. Staff are super friendly, very approachable and helpful Their menu caters well for veggies as well meat eaters.

If you’re craving something healthy but super flavorful, True Food Kitchen in Midtown is a must try! Highly recommend the Good Earth Kale Cobb salad and the Charred Cauliflower! Also pictured: Ancient Grains bowl with Salmon and the Grilled Sustainable Salmon (less the quinoa and pesto). They make special effort to ensure anyone with dietary restrictions are well taken care of! Check it out and ask for Nate for extra great service! ✨

Go or don’t go: do go! The Midtown location is sort of in the middle of nowhere (the reason for my 4 star rating) but it is most definitely worth a car ride to go try out this beautiful, edgy restaurant. Hot tip 1: As with many restaurants in Tampa, weekend breakfast and lunches would benefit from a reservation as it gets quite crowded (not an obnoxiously loud place however which is a great plus and makes it a nice casual place to go where you can actually have a conversation). Hot tip 2: This is the kind of place you can come in a rush and get food quickly whether to go or dine in. There are plenty of seats at the bar which also features 2 tv’s with seasonal games on so game enthusiasts will not miss the game! My ancient grain bowl with shrimp was absolutely outstanding, I brought some home as the serving was generous. (I must say all the staff there certainly seem very concerned with us having a wonderful experience which we most definitely did. See you again soon True!

My real estate team has just moved to the Compass office in Midtown. We are trying to bring attention to the business in this community. True Food was excellent! The food is extremely healthy and from quality sources. Nicole was super nice. We’ll definitely be coming back on a regular basis! Recommendation: Ancient Grains Bowl :)

I've been waiting for this! Grand Opening Day! Glad to see another spot open up at Midtown! Good food (soup and pizza) and drinks! Environment was good too! Disappointed that they didn't provide a resident or military discount like the other restaurants at Midtown!

This place is amazing! The vibe is right, the location is good, the food is delicious. I had the vegan burger and it was one of the best ones I’ve ever had. There’s a nice beverage selection. I had the apple lemonade… so refreshing! Mid town is super cute, there’s a nice selection of things around this area.

Love the food, service, and vibe; everything is great about this place. You do pay a little extra for quality, but it's worth it! This is the second true food I've visited (the other was in Atlanta) and both consistently had great service. They were super attentive to our food sensitivity (AIP diet is _hard_ to accommodate), very knowledgeable, and patient. Their attitude was, "help us help you, and we'll learn in the process; it only makes us better at serving in the future," which is refreshing! The food really does appear to be good quality, and they cook everything fresh so they're able to make substitutions to accommodate. The attention to detail here is great also; even something as simple as the table edge being beveled (so that it's more comfortable to rest your arms on it while eating) was nice! Good lighting, atmosphere, and navigation. If you want an outdoor seat (covered), make a reservation. Highly suggested

This was our first time here. Love the outdoor sitting area and the ambiance was great. The food menu with brunch side was amazing. Staff was friendly and ton of options and all organic and fresh. Would love to come back for more.

The forbidden poke bowl paired with the imagery chardonnay and finished with blueberry crumble sundae were amazing! Hannah was an excellent server and I'm a huge fan of so many selective menu items such as GF and VEG options! Great for a casual girls night out or date night

Presenting a contemporary setting that places a strong emphasis on using fresh ingredients and offering a diverse array of vegetarian options and imaginative mocktails. In a world where finding vegetarian-friendly restaurants can be a challenge, this establishment stands out with its dedicated approach. The ambiance seamlessly blends natural elements with modern design, creating an inviting atmosphere. It's important to note that the dining experience is quite open and tables are closely arranged, making it less suitable for those seeking spacious and intimate settings. The interior is well-lit and appealing, although it's worth mentioning that restroom facilities are located outside the establishment. This setup becomes less than ideal during inclement weather. While the service is by no means poor, it does fall short in terms of attentiveness. The staff excels at providing menu suggestions, yet a more attentive wait staff would enhance the overall experience. The interior is kept clean and well-maintained. Nevertheless, True Food Kitchen remains a must-visit for those in search of a well-balanced and flavorsome dining outing.

Incredible flavor and great service. Highly recommend for all types of eaters. Great vegan options with tons of flavor. The spinach and mushroom pizza was some of the best vegan pizza I’ve ever had.

Inviting atmosphere that blends open seating style with a green themed decor. The natural light adds to the open concept with the place looking bright and inviting. Many options for everybody vegetarians and vegans included. Fresh food done right.

Such a nice place! I enjoyed the food. The hummus starter was perfect. I could have just had that for lunch! Our server was very nice. The restaurant was extremely clean and a pretty atmosphere. Will be back!

Visited the nearby REI and this place was recommended for lunch. I'm always game to try something new, my wife not so much but she put a brave face on. Our server was great, I thought the menu and prices were good. Yes, it was expensive but for us who were just passing through, it was enjoyable.

I’ve been here both times I was in town and will likely make this a tradition! The food here is so freaking fresh and delicious! There is no concern with being hungry after your meal, I’ve left here feeling stuffed! They will accommodate your food additions or deletions with no issues too. The mocktail menu is diverse too. I loved my bowl! It had the perfect amount of spice and flavor! The addition of the charred cauliflower was a recommendation from my server and boy, was she right on the money! My friend enjoyed her salad too! And we were both so full! We sat outside on the expansive patio on a perfect fall day! Don’t wait! Get here asap!

Our server was Jacob, who was great. This was out 1st time visiting. He explained what the restaurant was about and answered all our questions about the menu items. The location and view was really nice, we opted to sit outside where we could see the open court yard like are where they're different events. Bingo was moved to the hotel for some reason. Weather was a little warm, but nothing to complain about. The meals we got were appetizer cornbread flatbread, which was really tasty. The Chicken Parm Panini: We expected this to be 2 thick slices of bread like a panini, but it was just like a quesadilla that came with sweet potato squares, the potatoes were really good, the panini was just like a quesadilla, nothing spectacular about it. We also got the Idaho Rainbow Trout that sat on a small bed of red quinoa: this wasn't my favorite, a very thin slice of fish, that could have used a bit more flavor. I squeezed the lime wedge on it that came on the side, but I felt like I forced myself to eat it, not to waste $27. The salad topping that was on top with a slight drizzle of dressing was the best part. Overall a different experience, but been there done that feeling.

Outstanding food with super fresh, gourmet ingredients in a fun mid-town Tampa setting (shops, restaurants, living). Located off of Dale Mabry, it’s worth the effort to come here.

First time that I ate here. Service was slow and it wasn't terribly busy. Waiter was not as aware as he should've been. Outside of slight delays with drinks, food, and check... food was DELICIOUS. I'd never had Bison before. I'll definitely have it again. We had the Breakfast Bison Sausage Pizza and the Turkey Burger with Kale salad. Both were OUTSTANDING.

The food was okay. The drinks were good but small. Location is great and the staff is friendly

Food was great. Wish the apple lemonade was a little more Apple flavored it tasted like regular lemonade but other than that food was great. Service was kind of slow but that’s okay we’re in the industry so we get it. Fresh food fair prices.

Lovely outdoors set up and ambiance. Knowledgeable and courteous hospitality. We tried Roasted Brussels Sprouts (miso sesame vinaigrette, toasted sesame seed, chili thread), amazingggg. The Edamame Dumplings with white truffle oil is HEAVENLY (reason why there is only one in the pic haha). The Pan Seared Sea Bass* sustainable sea bass, charred scallion salsa verde, almond, cauliflower rice, snap pea, charred onion, roasted portobello was very unique and flavorful. Although the portions are small, it’s valuable the taste. For desert we had Flourless Chocolate Cake, caramel, almond, vanilla ice cream, cacao nib.

Great healthy food and service! A little on the pricey side for a lunch but the plates were creative. Very clean and great ambiance. Our waiter was very attentive and right on point with his recommendations. He recommended the cauliflower appetizer and it was delicious. The horchata matcha latte and vegan cheesecake was amazing.

Enjoyable healthy dinning in Midtown. It was a fair experience, though the service was good. The best dish we had were the dumplings.
