Maintenance here are the absolute best in the business and I cannot speak highly enough about them. That being said, I wouldn't recommend this apartment complex to my enemies. The parking situation here is utterly disgusting. Leave a blanket and a pillow in your car because you'll have to sleep in it. Enjoy driving around for an hour and half looking for a spot while you look at a sea of non resident cars without parking decals. Nothing is done to fix this. You'll get the sporadic email regarding the situation but this place fills up with people going to bars so quickly they couldnt clear it out with 10 towing companies. Renters beware.

What's good - The location, the pools, the apartments themselves, and I had great experiences with Heather over leasing help. What's bad - THE PARKING. My car got towed last night/this morning. I work 2 jobs one during the day and part time at night. I got home at 3am and there wasn't a single parking spot. I had to leave in 4 hours for work so I parked in the back alongside a curb that didn't interfere with another individuals ability to come in/get out. I got a rude awakening to see my car was towed while ready to leave to work. Other residents were out that have said they've also gotten towed and of course when I went to the towing place to pick mine up another resident was there picking her vehicle up that also was towed. $150 and missing a half day at work because this complex DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH PARKING. Maybe if multiple resident's are getting towed per night, its not a resident not understanding where to park, it's that we have no where to park. $2400 a month for rent and with a parking sticker on the car they'd be more considerate and tell the towing company to relax. There are at least 10 spots around that are "Reserved" but I haven't seen anyone park in them for months on end. Cover those reserved signs while no one is paying for them. This problem alone is enough for me to not want to renew my lease come next year and it needs to be addressed.

Just a forewarning for anyone planning to live here, the complex has a terrible termite issue that has impacted at least* half of the tenants in our building and been ongoing for over a month yet they have no plans to treat the infestation effectively. They're aware that half of us have had couches ruined, can't sleep in our beds, etc.. So you can expect to have this same issue every spring/summer should you decide to live here.

Staci is a WONDERFUL manager! She is very caring and concerned about her tenants well being. She reacts promptly to tenant issues and concerns. She goes over and beyond to make sure the property continues to look amazing. Any property can only be better with her there to manage.

Apartment tours and move-in experience was very smooth. Jasmine was very helpful giving a late afternoon Friday walk-in tour for several apartments that met our criteria. Through the move in process Jasmine, David, and Kyle helped to answer all my questions and get everything quickly and easily processed.

Above and beyond doesn’t begin to describe level of service we received from Jasmine. She is compassionate, patient, kind, and thoughtful. Jasmine took care of every detail and anticipated our needs so that the process of finding a new home was so much less stressful than it usually would be. Knowing that people like her are at MAA gives us peace of mind for our loved one that will be living there. Thank you Jasmine!

DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT HERE/IN THE FIRST SECTION OF THE COMPLEX!! We have had a SIGNIFICANT termite issue that spot-treating with a pest guy (shoutout to Kenny for being the pest guy) cannot fix. The entire complex is swarmed from bottom to top floor with these termites, management simply believes a little treatment every now and then will just magically solve the problem. Of course our wooden furniture has termites now nesting in them and our move-out this weekend is going to consist of most likely throwing out all this money spent. They are within the walls and ceilings, nothing more to do than tent the place, yet the exorbitant price that people have to pay to rent here apparently cannot remedy the cost of displacing people into a hotel for however long is necessary. If you move here, please be wary of the integrity of the buildings, as these termites are chewing their way through the wooden foundations and nothing that management is doing currently will solve that problem. We had no issues with management or the maintenance of this place until now, and had been living here for almost two years if it weren't a necessity to leave our infested complex. Check the walls and ceilings for holes, ask management about their solutions, and please be an informed renter. As of right now, 6/29/2022, it is not a complex worth spending many thousands just to live in a place where any cloth and wooden structure will be chewed through.

Caitlin is the best! She helped us to move in with zero stress. Always willing to explain, help with anything with a smile. She would call to check if all we needed was taken care of. MAA very lucky to have her. Thank you 😊

My friends and I are in college and were looking for an apartment and loved MAA from the start. Through a lot of help and great responsive times from Kaitlin Proudfoot, a leasing consultant, we were able to secure an apartment. Kaitlin was very helpful throughout the whole process and was a HUGE reason why we were able to secure this apartment. She helped us through any troubles or confusion we had and was very understanding with the hiccups along the way. We are very grateful for her and wouldn't have been able to do it without her, we are very excited to live here!!!

I’ve lived in a few apartments in the past 10 years and this has been by far the best place I’ve lived yet. Not only are the apartments in a great location and extremely nice, the staff is incredible. I’ve ran into a few issues these past few months and Heather and Lance have been incredible. They always respond right away and do whatever they can to assist. Post Hyde park is lucky to have these two working for them.

I'm loving it here! The apartment complex is conveniently located within a reasonable distance from every destination of interest in Tampa and the Leasing Consultant Kaitlin is terrific! I just wish the pool was a little bit longer and deeper.

I had the pleasure of touring the MAA Hyde Park property with Lance. He presented himself professionally in tone & appearance, & had a friendly personality. He was very thorough in showcasing the beautiful property & answered all my questions with a smile. I had a very positive experience with Lance & would like to give him much-deserved kudos!

Leaving this review not just for MAA but for Luis who works in maintenance here! He is absolutely phenomenal. We have lived at MAA for 4 years and throughout those years, Luis has been such an amazing worker and made our experience living here that much better. Whether it is an emergency maintenance call at 8pm or a standard work order, he is always there within minutes and always a smile on his face! Thank you for all you do, Luis!

We just toured here and although we don't yet live here, we really loved the units. Their size is much bigger than any others in the area and for a lower price, while also being walking distance to Hyde Park. Lance was extremely attentive and asked detailed questions about our needs, pets, and lifestyle to ensure we got the best fit for us. Looking forward to living here.

Kaitlin in the leasing office is amazing!!! She walked me through the leasing process step by step. She is detail oriented and was always available to answer any of my questions along the way. Thank you Kaitlin for being so wonderful and making the moving process such a breeze!!

Have lived here for almost three years, Louis has been a huge help and extremely knowledgeable over that span. Not only does he fix any and all problems that may arise, he also provides an educational lesson with each fix making us more prepared for the future. A+.

The leasing process was extremely easy. Lance (Leasing Consultant) moved quickly, and was extremely accommodating during the entire process. He went above and beyond to make sure that we got the unit layout we needed, because I work from home and need the space. Thanks for making this a very smooth transition!

The property is so conveniently located for all the fun Hyde Park activities. But, the best part of the community is the office team. Heather is so helpful! You can tell she really cares about the place and the people.

I just moved into Post Hyde Park and I have had the BEST experience and service from the entire staff. In particular, Kaitlyn and Lance have been extraordinary. They continually go above and beyond and help me in any way that they can. Both of them, along with the manager and staff, have been extremely friendly, helpful and always have a smile on their face...especially Lance. His smile and friendliness is infectious. The maintenance team has been fantastic, too! Thank you to a dynamic team for making me feel right at home. Job well done, guys! I genuinely appreciate your kindness. I wholeheartedly recommend your services and encourage anyone looking for a new home to choose Post Hyde Park!

This is a great property! The management, leasing, and maintenance staff are all very kind, personable, and professional as well as reliable when I need any kind of assistance. Lance was extremely nice and helpful in accommodating all of my needs and answering any questions I had. The gym is also nice for anyone looking to get a quick work out in. Location is also fantastic! It’s down the street from downtown including local activities, restaurants, shopping centers, and more. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who’s looking for a place in the Tampa area.

Our tour guide Lisa Grenty was very helpful and answered every question we had. The complex and community was amazing. The apartments are very spacious and Lisa even told us about all the new and exciting options that are being built for the up coming summer. The new gym, club house and many more are just the tip of the ice berg. Being a college student and living in a dorm, this place was just everything and more. I highly recommend Lisa Grenty to be your tour guide if you ever get the chance to visit the Post Hyde Park Apartments..

Luis helps with maintenance requests in our apartment occasionally and he does a great job. He is friendly, courteous, and willing to patiently answer any questions I have. On his last visit he provided some tips so that I can handle a super simple issue on my own instead of reaching out and waiting on the team.

This is a great property! The leasing staff, especially Lisa, has been extremely helpful when my friend and I came to tour different floor plans. She answered all of our questions promptly and professionally and has continually worked hard to ensure that the application process has been smooth. I can't wait to hopefully call Post Hyde Park home!

Lance was amazing at explaining the process and helped walk us through starting from our application to our move in smoothly from start to finish. Also was always available to answer any questions we had. Thank you Lance for your positive personality you made this a quick and easy process 😊

First off, the maintenance staff is awesome. Kaitlyn and Lance in the office are great too. The pools are nice, when they’re open. The new bark park is small but pretty good. The gym was dated but decent, until it got closed for a reno in January. They announced it’d re-open in early spring. It’s June and still closed so…idk. Needless to say, going 1/3 of your lease without the gym is not ideal. Like a few others said…parking is a complete joke. Come home after 8pm and you’ll circle and circle and maybe get lucky and find a spot after 30 minutes…on the other side of the complex or outside of the gates completely. Every other car you pass is missing the resident decal but there’s rarely a tow truck to be seen. Not sure how they can address it but assigning everyone a spot might be a super quick way to fix it. Seems like they know this would work because they’ll assign you a spot if you pay extra for it. It’s like they’re using this inconvenience as a way for them to make even more money off their residents. What does management care if you can’t park? Pay extra and they’ll help you. You’d think the 20-30% rent increase would let them cover those costs but what do I know. Lastly, DO NOT rent a unit that has windows facing the expressway. It is LOUD. The traffic noise is CONSTANT. You will not be able to ignore it or sleep in on a Saturday. The windows seem cheap, or aren’t installed correctly. Management is aware of the issue. My windows were replaced and they’re still useless. They don’t negate or dampen the traffic noise in any noticeable way. I work from home and have to mute myself when a truck drives by. It might just be my unit, but make sure you check this before signing your lease… unless you like the Indy 500 soundtrack playing all day, everyday. If my rent went down I wouldn’t re-sign if it meant staying in this unit. Hope this was helpful. Good luck.

Ladislao came to fix our AC unit and changed out the filter, and explained to me what needed to be done to prevent any issues in the future. Additionally, he offered to fix the lightbulbs in both our bathrooms! He was very nice the entire time and super quick! I would recommend him to anyone!

Packages are stolen here often. I’ve had 5 items already swiped off my front door. I’ve complained multiple times and the office will not put in parcel lockers / club house package area. With the rent prices you’d think they’d listen to the voice of the customer….

I always have such a great experience with our maintenance team here at Post Hyde Park Tampa. Every time I put in a request it’s handled promptly, whether the task is big or small. Ladisiao has helped me with a handful of projects around my apartment and it is always such a positive experience! They are the best.

I am a recent Tampa transplant and am delighted with the decision to live at Post Hyde Park. I I spoke with the Regional Leasing Consultant Joslynn Araujo and she was able to help me find an apartment that meet my needs. The entire office staff and maintenance crew is friendly, professional and responsive. An update, after a 15 month stay; Unfortunately after living here I decided this has to be the worst apartment in the area. The front office has a rotating cast of characters, so the delightful people who helped me move in were gone within 6 months. Since this is close to the college a lot of college students leave furniture in the parking lot upon moving out. Upon renewing my lease (which I refused) they wanted to increase the rent approximately 700.00 dollars. I ended up moving to another apartment in the MAA family however, the front office at Hyde Park was unprofessional. Consistency provided me with incorrect information and inaccurate information. They even refused to perform a walk though upon my move out. About the only saving grace was the quality service of the maintenance team. If you want to live in this area of tampa, avoid the MAA Hyde Park apartments.

Great location, helpful staff any maintenance issues are addressed promptly and properly. Having a daughter living 1200 miles away this gives you some peace of mind. Kaitlin Proudfoot in the leasing office was wonderful on our search for this apartment. She always went above and beyond, answering questions providing photos and videos of potential apartments. She always made herself available even on her days off.

MAA HYDE PARK This is a beautiful, gated community in the finest neighborhood of Tampa. The location is ideal, but you’ll need a car if your destination is more than 5 or 10 minutes away. The leasing staff here is top-notch: Heather is the Gen. Mgr.; Yukika is the Asst Mgr; and Caitlin is one of the leasing agents. I worked with Caitlin during the application process and she turned an otherwise tedious, even maddening procedure, into a pleasant one, even though I handled it over the phone from a city more than 1,000 miles away. You’ll love the manicured gardens, mature palm trees, the two swimming pools, a nice gym, and all the other amenities here. Everyone is friendly, including the extremely fine Luis, who handles repairs as if he was born knowing what to do. If asked if there are any negatives you should know about, I’d say: (1) There is no trash pickup at your door, so you have to carry all your trash to a compactor that’s nearby for some tenants but far away if you have no car (like me ). Just wait till you have dozens of cartons & heavy trash bags to throw out after move-in day and see how you like it. (2) They increase rents dramatically at the end of your lease and won’t tell you how much the new rent will be. I’ve heard many people grumble about this as their moving vans pull up to take them to an apartment elsewhere in Tampa, with a more reasonable rent. This is not the fault of the on-site staff, but is controlled by the main office of MAA. That said, I’m loving my first few months here and I hope you’ll decide to make MAA HYDE PARK your new home, too.

I had an excellent experience with MAA Hyde Park and I can't praise the team, particularly David, Kyle, and Jasmine, enough for their exceptional assistance. I encountered unexpected hurdles with my out-of-state background check, which was quite frustrating, but this team was quick to step in and find a solution. Their ability to problem-solve and their deep knowledge of the process were truly impressive. They made what could have been a stressful experience remarkably smooth and efficient. David, Kyle, and Jasmine are not only great at what they do but also incredibly personable and professional. They patiently addressed my questions and concerns, ensuring that I felt comfortable throughout the application process. Their dedication and expertise were pivotal in making my transition to the apartment complex a positive one. I wholeheartedly recommend MAA Hyde Park for their exceptional team and service – they truly go above and beyond to ensure their residents are well taken care of.

Our son just graduated college and is moving to the Tampa area. From the very first contact I had with Kyle, I felt confident and at ease with the entire process of apartment hunting in a city over 1000 miles away from our home. Between phone calls, emails and the tour of the complex itself, Kyle was there every step of the way to guide and accommodate us in a calm yet delightful manner. Upon signing the lease, Kyle has walked our son through the next steps with clear and consistent communication so that his first apartment experience is a positive one. Thank you, Kyle!
