Needed this pick me up to start off the day!! I had the peanut butter and banana toast which was pretty good. I really loved the latte with oat milk instead. I always appreciate when I can customize my order since I’m vegan. I do think this place is a bit over priced but came through for me when I needed them most. They also took a very long time making my order, but the customer service was exceptional!

Clara, Felicia & Nicole really out did themselves with my coffee and sandwich! Literally the best coffee spot here in armature works! Amazing service and extremely friendly! Highly recommend this place! They are quick with it too! Definitely a returning customer!

My family and I stop by the Buddy Brew at Armature Works very frequently. As expected for a Buddy Brew location, the coffee is delicious and the service is fast, friendly, and accurate. I think that inside the Armature Works can be very loud, crowded, and hot in the summer, maybe not the easiest place to work, especially for people cooking food and making hot beverages. But the employees at Buddy Brew always do a really great job.

Delicious coffee and awesome spot. The vibe is just right and all the employees were very friendly. Got a cappuccino with oat milk and it was extremely good and quick. Highly recommended.

Even if I’m not getting coffee, I always make it a point to swing by this Buddy Brew when I’m at Armature Works because the staff is the absolute best! They always make me feel like their favorite person they’ve seen all day. The coffee is always spot on. The cookies are the best! Sunny and Clara keep the experience excellent and fun all the time always! 🙌 11/10 would recommend!

Best coffee and mango tea I've ever had. And the owner was hanging out just talking to people and more so she was on a personal level with everyone behind the counter ........but the best part was a lovely young woman named Felicia. She is the best of the best!

These guys are incredible. Every time I visit I’m greeted with a smile, and the best coffee! They love using their creative side to customize a different coffee for me each visit. Almond croissants, PB trail bars, and TBR sandwiches are a MUST HAVE. Also, if you don’t come for coffee just come for the conversation. They’re amazing.

Coffee! This is my coffee jam! I don’t need that “other” coffee place when I have Buddy Brew. I love all of their coffee and flavors. The Lavender is a must try. I also buy their beans and brew them at home. Stop going to the⭐️buck and get with the buddy brew!

The line here was long but it moved quickly the service was excellent and I loved the sandwich! I don't drink coffee but I liked the I've chai latte. There's plenty of seating area and the atmosphere is really nice

Nice little coffee bar located inside Armature Works. The coffee is very professionally made as one would expect from the Buddy Brew brand. The staff is friendly and there’s a variety of tasty pastries to choose from. Since it’s a small coffee bar it only has 6 seats at the bar and the wifi is a limited access public wifi that is free for only 2 hours a day or pay for the whole day so it’s a little difficult to work from. The good thing about this location is there are plenty of places to eat at and the nice views outside of the water and downtown Tampa. If you’re wanting a quality coffee fix then this is the place for you!

Incredible staff. Always very kind and professional. Great cold brew but more importantly smiling faces. Would trust them to babysit my child.

Black drip coffee was basically cold. Line short / non existent but server acted inconvenienced and rushed with ‘attitude’. No water. No wifi.

I was very disappointed visiting for the 1st time this business at the amateur works in Tampa. There you will find coffee and the very rudest employee they could have hired in all tampa, wow! Should have gotten her name but really I just wanted to get away from that establishment cause of that in employee. never going back there again or any of there establishments, very horrible 1st time experience. I went there 3/17/2022 around 1pm maybe 2pm She seemed latina descent. Short black hair very bad attitude for a customer to experience specially for a 1st time customer which I mentioned and she was aware. Wow!😲 never again. I should have looked up reviews 1st b4 spending my money there. All do to a $50.00 dollar bill she could not cash or a sign that was not up that business doesn't expect large bills.

Very slow service. I know it's popular coffee but people don't need to wait 30 minutes to get their coffee... After ordering! And then after waiting 30 minutes to just order!! 2 cups of coffee... Just 2 baristas! Y'all are making enough money to hire more people during prime time. Not cool.

They've got an Eagle One espresso machine! Absolutely the best espresso based drinks I've ever had. You need to stop by if you're in the area. The matcha was also fantastic

Buddy Brew cappuccino is so much better than anywhere else! Barista Damary is skilled with the latte art as well and makes it look so easy. Thanks so much - I’ll be back again and again.

Everything here is wonderful. There's a beautiful courtyard with a river and bridge. It's simply a slice of heaven. The coffee I got was superb, and the service was amazing. Staff are all friendly and effective. Can't wait to come back here!

I work at a coffee house so I was very curious to try their coffee. I tried my brother’s black cold brew, my mom’s pumpkin latte, and then I got a chai tea latte with a double shot of espresso. Honestly, it is very weak coffee. It tasted very much watered down and my chai didn’t even taste like it has my double shot it in. It is way overpriced for the coffee I got, would probably never go there again. I also have a slight dairy allergy so if I wanted oat milk it would’ve been an extra dollar. Very pricey. Nice staff though.

Two star review due to lack of management follow up. I went there a few weeks ago and noticed that the sales tax rate used in the system was 15% instead of the 7.5% it is supposed to be. Went back today, still 15%. This needs to be fixed.

Cute shop just up in Armature! Definite upgrade in taste from the Union, happy to have them in the Works.

I went to the car show on Saturday morning at Armature Works and after the show I decided to have a quick stop at Buddy Brew Coffee. It is a small coffee shop in armature works. It didn't took me long to order the cortado coffee, sandwich and plum cake. I got the cortado coffee and plum cake instantly and got the sandwich in 5 minutes. The coffee was freshly brewed and hot. The plum cake was also good. The sandwich was hot and loved it as it was a good food option with coffee.

After waiting for 10 mins without someone even mentioning that they would be right with me.. i ordered a Chai Latte HOT. As it was about to rain and my spouse and I love a good chai. This chai latte was the worst of the worst. Dunkin’ Donuts has a better chai latte then this. Unimpressed to say the least. The chai was LUKE WARM if that and had a terrible taste. As a barista myself it’s sad to see the lack of customer service and effort that went into the whole thing. I will never come back to buddy brew again even if it’s the only coffee shop open.

First of all armature Works is one of the best places in Tampa to eat and relax, and vibe. We went to armature Works in order to use the Wi-Fi and get some things done on our laptop and we’re blown away by the food options offered it really rivaled Chelsea market. Buddy brew coffee was a great pick me up. I got an iced vanilla cappuccino with almond milk and the best part about getting an iced drink is that they use a bar shaker to make sure that your drink is nice and cold.

Disappointed with this location today. Was not busy at armature(cold and drizzly outside), but still had a friend wait 15mins for a coffee drink. When I ordered a black tea, I also waited about 15mins and had 2 people who ordered coffee before me get their order. Unfortunately I had to leave and had to cancel my order but they said the manager had to come in order to get a refund, and I would get a call when she arrived. Never received a call, and 5mins later left without a refund. On their best days, they're a bit overpriced anyway ($5 for a plain black tea).

The atmosphere is very calm and kind. Clara and the staff provided excellent service. I enjoy spending time here and seeing these sweet/kind individuals. Thank you for a good coffee and atmosphere to be in.

I come here almost every morning for coffee before work. The baristas are top notch, friendly and always come up with cool, unique drink ideas for their specials. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Stopped by Buddy Brew Coffee today. It was my first visit to any of their locations. This location is inside Armature Works. It’s busy to say the least. I was surprised by the great taste of their coffee and the good service. I’ll definitely go back to Buddy Brew here and at other locations.
