    Impossible to get an appointment - constantly re dialling to try and get through, managed to finally get through after a week of trying only to be told within 20minutes of surgery being open all appointments were gone and I would have to ring back the following day. Hubby rang up 163 times!!! Told the same thing- since Doctor Standen has retired & Dr Benkert semi retired this practice has dived down hill.

    This practice has really gone downhill in the last 12 months, no duty of care to patients. Been trying to get an appointment for the past week, told to phone up on the day. Waiting over an hour to even have the phone answered to then be told there are no appointments. Which leaves me sometimes no other options than to go to A&E which wastes their time. I have been a patient for over 25 years at this practice, and safe to say I will be looking for a practise that is more professional and reliable.

    Recently saw Kathy Parker the Menopause Nurse . What a wonderful service she has given me . A very warm welcome and listened to what I talked about . She was very professional and listened with empathy . Made sure I was understood and gave great advice. I can’t Thank You enough Kathy , it’s so lovely to talk to someone that knew what I was on about and what my body is going through ! Didn’t feel rushed and she took the time to make sure I was fully aware of my problems. 2nd visit today for an update on my health & medication . Yet again a very warm welcome, and genuinely happy to see me and to hear my progress . What a wonderful nurse ! I can’t thank you enough for your kindness and time . And for being a wonderful nurse. Who understands . Thank you 🙏🏼

    Catherine Parker. Nurse here. Very rude and judgemental nurse! Doesn't listen to the problems and rushed through doing what she wanted not what I wanted at the appointment. AVOID HER IF POSSIBLE!!

    What a waste of time. Tried calling from 8am on 3 different phones to ensure we got through. Ive recently had an operation one of the stitches sites has quadrapled in size gone rock hard & has smelly discharge. Finally got through to reception who told me i would get a call first from a nurse who would then decide if i got to see a dr!!!!! What is this madness. Who are seeing the gp this morning for 9am appointments obviously no one. Diabocol

    I’d like to think I’m not being dramatic but someone of authority needs to look into this practice, this is clear negligence and someone needs to be held responsible for the level of service being carried within this practice. Ive been a member for nearly 30 years, their phoning system has declined dramatically, there is no online booking system that is working effectively and in general overall the whole practice is in decline. I understand the whole first come first served at 8am, that’s always been the case here. No exaggeration but for the past 4 days in a row I have rang between 8-8:30, I ring over 200+ times each time, when I get through eventually at about half past, all appointments are completely taken for all doctors available, this is not acceptable, this is disgusting and deeply worrying. I understand this is not the receptionists fault, she must be repeating herself for her whole shift, but there needs to be something more adequately setup in place. The local council need to get their priorities in check, stop investing in silly projects and get the basics done correctly first. Absolute circus

    Needed to make an appointment to see my GP, couldn't get through at 8.30am which is to be expected as everyone is calling so left it for 20 mins or so and got through fine (Number 2 in the queue). Receptionist was polite, explained that all today's appointments at the Crown had gone but she said she could check future availability (including any on-line bookings) at the Crown & Stonydelph practices. She offered me next Monday at Stonydelph which was fine. I appreciate that the NHS has issues and there are problems getting to see a GP but this lady was very helpful and sorted me out. Kevin B

    This Practice (roughly 20 years ago)was the 'go to' Practice in Tamworth, now unfortunately it has completely gone downhill! Physiotherapy can't help me no more with a medical problem that I have so have told me to refer back to my doctor which is where the problem lies; with me making loads of attempted phone calls at 07:58hrs only to be told after half an hour of waiting that there's no appointments available for that day! I'm now in the process of looking for another GP Practice that will (hopefully) see me when I call for an appointment!!

    Appalling patient care. Told to call GP so waited all day for call back and not added to call list. Numerous times have to wait 3 weeks for prescription as lost, not received and continuous lies! Wish I could move but no where to go in Tamworth as area based.

    Since the beginning of this year I have been quite poorly and Kathy Parker has been marvelous both with telephone consultations and in person. She is lovely and really listens. I think she is a valuable addition to the surgery
