I went to this salon and after agreeing on a price, was later told that my hair would now cost more as it was.. get this.. "soaking up more dye" ... after looking up the cost of professional dye-keeping the salon's heavy prices in mind and researching the fact that hair can only soak up to a certain amount in one dye job, I came to the realization I was totally lied to and scammed into paying more money by this salon. The way I was asked was very confronting and I felt pressured into paying more (the sweet friendly young hair dresser was coming backwards and forwards between an older lady whispering and it was seriously so awkward and she was watching and kind of glaring in the background) all I wanted to do was relax and have my hair done. I was taken in for the fool I unfortunately am and I agreed to pay the extra twice in one sitting because my hair was apparently soaking up their entire stock... The name "Illegal" certainly fits this greedy business and I will never be going back.

My stylist is Harriet. She's fabulous and very talented. Illegal Lengths provide a professional service in a relaxed, friendly environment. I constantly get compliments on the style & colour of my hair. Cant recommend these girls highly enough!

Harriet was wonderful. Clear about what she was doing, and what would and wouldn't work. Has my hair foiled, and styled for a wedding. Reasonably priced, and great service by all staff, as we as very friendly
