I was in Tanga City for nearly a week. Most of the days I visited Hashtag Cafe for lunch. The cafe is clean, hygienic, comfortable and has all the globally preferred cafe options for lunch - ranging from smoothies, frappes, paninis, wraps, burgers, sandwiches, salads and pizzas. There were plenty of options for vegetarians and I tried most of them. The taste and presentation was great! I wish all the best to this newly opened cafe and look forward to visiting more when I am next in Tanga City.

One of the more modern cafes of Tanga. Just what we needed - when we fancied a nice latte and dessert. Their sandwiches were excellent. Friendly staff and didnt wait too long for the food (which you generally do have to in Africa)

📍Great place to hang out with friends and family while you are in Tanga. Located in the city easy accessibility with plenty of space to sit inside and outside. Beautiful clean ambience with good decor. 🧋 We only had drinks and it was yummy. We had oreo and espresso milkshake. 💰 Prices are high compared to other cafes. 👩‍🍳 Service was slow if they have a crowd they need extra hands. The have AC. Good coffee as well. And free wifi for the first hour. I gave this pretentious place a one star because because the Indian owner only speaks and checks in on white customers. He ignored me and other local customers. If you are white this place is for you. Enjoy. I had a chicken panini it didn’t taste good at all. All I can say is the fries were better. Not coming back.

Very good cafe. Wonderful service, great food, lovely ambience. The ice teas and smoothies are just amazing and one should not leave without having waffles - will highly recommend

Great place, service was very good. Staff was super kind and helpful.i ordered the bean burger and it was really pleasing. It's nice to find places with real non fried vegan options. The wifi worked great and it is a great space to do a little work.

Convien I must commend the Hashtag Cafe franchise for being consistent in quality of service and maintaining good quality of products. The ambience is awesome; quiet to allow one to maybe read a book, catch up on some work or meet friends. This is definitely my choice of a coffee shop when I visit Tanga.

Had dinner and breakfast while on holiday with my family. We love their food. Everything is so delicious and the price is quite reasonable. Will absolutely come again when I am in Tanga.

The place to go if you are a western tourist in town. We ended up eating most our meals at this place. Good AC, Coffe, frappes, waffles, breakfast, lunch and more. Staff could be a bit more friendly and welcoming if I have to say something that could be improved.

Best coffee brew we managde to find in Tanga. Good and friendly service. Nice place to chill when it gets too hot in the sun.

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in Tanga City. The service is unmatched. Had dinner with my family last week. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing.. This was my second time in Hashtag, my first time was in 2021.

Loved it here. Service was fine af. Food was good as well. Though just the pesto pasta wasn't upto the mark. Otherwise other dishes we ordered were really good. The club sandwich, quesadilla, milkshake etc.
