Had ordered masala Dosa, it was completely a flop. No taste at all. Food was terrible avoid this restaurant if you can. I am sure there are better places to eat. All the sauces were sweet. I just left as it came.

The food doesn’t taste authentic. I ordered chicken tikka masala and my friend ordered the fish curry. The portions were incredibly small compared to the prices. The butter non didn’t have any butter. Worst of all if your aren’t Indian then don’t expect the Indians in-charge to welcome you or show any warmth. The waitresses were phenomenal and kudos to them for working in such conditions and the drinks were not bad. However, I wont go back.

I also visited Kitchen Cafe frequently and sometimes ordered dinner from there. Being an Indian, I was delighted with the range of options and quality of food served. Although I found the food a bit spicy and oily. I would certainly visit again when next in Tanga City.

Possibly the best food outlet in Tanga apart from main hotels, pricing is good andcgreat value for money. Food for 5 all came together which is nigh on a miracle for most place.

This place was just what we needed for dinner in Tanga. We got some nice naan (great texture) and the butter chicken was good as well. The sauce was yummy. The tandoori chicken was seasoned well and the meat was tender. Service could have been a bit faster as there was only one other occupied table but the atmosphere was nice. Also, had their cafe latte which was just perfect.

I recently visited The Kitchen Spot in Tanga and was blown away by the quality of the food. The masala dosa, tangdi kabab and chicken haryali were all excellent. The restaurant offers Italian, Chinese, Indian and Cafe cuisine. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Tanga. So good I came back for a second evening. Really tasty food served quickly in a cool and comfortable atmosphere. This restaurant deserves to do well.

Came for a quick lunch. Tried the Chicken Fish Tikka Pizza. Was not sure about the chicken and fish together on a Pizza. Wow. Amazing. Loved the freshness of the ingredients ! Could taste the fresh green pepper, onion and tomatoes Loved it Thank you!

The kitchen cafe is one of the best indian restaurants in Tanga city. The food quality and taste are delicious. The price of food is a very good comparison to other restaurants. The location of the restaurant is a very good place inside the city. Lots of menus like Indian, Punjabi,gujrti,south indian also available here. Drinks bar also available here. You can enjoy it here very peacefully. If you are a food lover in Tanzania you can visit. I recommend it to all people.

If you are visiting tanga, then please visit this restaurant.. they have extreme well prepared menu with a well trained staff. Veg side Paneer dishes, chole Bhature and many others On non veg - their chicken biryani and tawa chicken are a must eat. Their tandoori chicken, har bhara kabab and some other varieties are also very delicious. Not so expensive. They can also serve you without onion / garlic food ( for jains & swami Narayan people's) Also, don't forget to ask their new chikki .. they are calling it alomond cookies .. it's mouth watering :) :)
