This is a large facility located at the entrance of the regional landfill / recycling center. There are two large play areas. The small dog / puppy pen is about an acre in size. The large dog area is about five acres. The large dog area has multiple watering stations, trash cans, and picnic tables. There is rarely an aggressive dog, but the do attend. Get your dog off its leash as soon as possible. The entry / exit pens are the best place to do this. Owners are required to clean up after their animal, but it's obvious some simply don't care. It's OK to take shy, timid, and old dogs into the small dog pen. I've seen a surprising number of small children on the play field. I suggest caution as I've seen adults plowed over by oblivious playing ,/ running dogs. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up 👍

I love the wide open space this park has. My dogs have a great time every single time we go. The park is clean and kept in great shape. Bring your dogs here, they will love it.

Great park, but could be a little better. Pros: • Lots of room for dogs to run around. • Separate large and small dog areas. • Multiple water stations on each side. • View of Mount Rainier if it's nice out. • Double-gated entrance/exit. • Picnic tables for seating. • Porta potty available in the parking lot. • Poop bags provided. Cons: • Not much shade on those really hot days. • Could use some landscaping; the grass is looking pretty rough and there's a lot of dirt and dust. • The smell wafting down from the dump is not-so-pleasant. • DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES IN YOUR CAR. *I personally haven't had a problem with this, but I've seen cars in the parking lot with windows busted out quite often.

A great place with plenty of room for dogs to exercise, run and play. Water is provided for them and so is a large honeybucket for people including handicap accessibility. There's also a trailhead right there to view various types of plants. ☆ DO NOT LEAVE VALUABLES UNATTENDED IN YOUR VEHICLES!! I saw numerous places in the parking lot with piles of glass fragments from vehicles that had been broken into! Watch your backs!!

Very friendly people and their fogs. Definitely not a summer park when it's hot outside.

This is a fun dog park. The dogs are usually very well behaved. There is grass, sand, and some puddles this time of year which make for fun exploring for pups. There are trash cans and doggy bags available so the park stays clean. A Porta potty outside the park is available. There is a small/older dog side and a large dog side. There is plenty of space so you can keep to yourself or visit with others.

Very clean park love how they have it divided small medium large dogs..My handsome Mr.Charlie says thank you he loves this park and when we pull in he knows where he is at and can't get out of the car fast enough and to the gate we remove his leash and as soon as that gate opens he is off to the races...So he thanks you..

No shelter from the elements. Very few trees. Just big, open fields. Located by a dump. Has a garden nearby but it's not intended for dog walkers. I feel sadder after bringing my dog to this barren wasteland, but the dog likes it so we go once in a while.

This is our go-to dog park in the area! It's huge, has abundant poop bags and trash cans throughout the park, and has a great view of Rainier on a clear day. There is an area for both large and small dogs, and there are several water stations placed throughout the sections. In the large dog area, there are three double gated doors to enter/exit the park. We've never seen the park lacking dogs, it always seems like a revolving door. Most owners are very mindful of their dogs. We've only seen one instance where a dog got aggressive with another dog. Unfortunately the owners weren't very responsive to the situation so everyone left shortly after. Regulars frequent the park so you'll often see the same dogs which is nice. The only improves I'd give this park is that given how big the footprint is, there are times when the grass will grow tall, or it will be muddy with large puddles of standing water. Honestly not quite a drawback given where we are. Just keep an eye on your pups and you'll both have a great time. Additionally, there are no enrichment obstacles or toys so bring your own.

It's a nice facility other than the lack of shade on hot days. But as with any public dog park you are going to have issues with people who seem to think they can do anything they want such as not picking up poop, or allowing little kids to bring food in. Many owners are respectful and nice, but there are some that don't supervise their dogs properly. The last straw came when a pit bull mix (in the little dog yard) jumped on my senior beagle, tore her ear and almost put out her eye simply for walking in. After a $150 trip to the emergency vet, which the owner refused to take responsibility for, I stopped going. Some dog parks require a fee or membership from the users which pays for amenities and even supervision/someone to monitor that the rules are being followed, but this is a public facility which does not. Sad that people don't respect that rules are there for a reason and that dogs need to be supervised.

I'm rating one of my experiences, which was some weirdo letting their dog try to attack my dog. Me and my wife had to fight their dog off while they laughed and said their dog was just playing. Actually, there has been a bad incident every time I have been here. I have seen fights and morons for dog owners each time. So no, I'll be finding a new dog park that's safer.

Love this place! Had fun interacting with others and their dogs. Nice that it has separate areas for small and large dogs and its kept clean and has bags to pick up after your dog (and everyone was using them thankfully). A water station and a few picnic tables. I will visit again for sure.

The facility is satisfactory but the typical special humans frequent the area. My favorite being the “I don’t ever leash my dog” type. It’s an off leash dog park not an off leash parking lot. It’s off of a busy road and the adjacent to the transfer station. Nope.. I don’t care how good you think your recall is. Thankfully most of the 4 legged patrons are great.

Dogs continuously mounting our 13 year old female, owners do nothing. Dogs following us across the park and not leaving the 5 month old puppies alone. OWNERS DO NOTHING. Commonly see injured dogs or male dogs fighting. Not a safe park.

We visited the park a week ago and 2 days later all 3 of our little ones developed reverse sneezing episodes. 1 of our dogs sneezing has progressed into long bouts of snorting, gagging, worse sounding cough. His breathing is loud when asleep. We have all of them scheduled for the vet. Our neighbor took her dog to this park 2 days ago and she developed the same symptoms the same day

A nice stop on our way through the area to let our pup burn off some energy. Two large fenced areas, one for big dogs and one for little dogs. Standard double-gate entry, multiple entrances to the big dog area, multiple watering stations inside. The small-dog side had some trees, but the big-dog side was not so lucky. The only downside is that (at least in late August) the ground is very rocky and sandy, if your dog is a sprinter like mine they might hurt their toes or nails.

Very spacious. Beautiful scenery. Solid, standard height fencing so if you're dog is a jumper i would recommend proceeding on the side of caution. Located by rather high traffic vehicle area though for an "off-leash" dog park. Although maybe it was just busy that day. Had only a single gated in & out entrance instead of a "double gated" entrance. So once again stay aware of your animal's location at all times!

Major cons: Absolutely No Shade inside the dog park, and only a dirty porta-potty - which is more than most dog parks can say. Major Pros: Multiple water spigots with bowls, huge park for a furbaby (dog) to really run and stretch their legs, and a nice worn-down walking path for humans to walk around the perimeter.

Lots of room Looks like people are cleaning up after there dogs Wished we could get rid of puddles Can't keep my lab out of them They can't be very clean The drinking stations don't flush the bowl out well either

It had lots of fenced space to let my pup run and play fetch. Parking wasn't too bad even on a busier night, it also has a grass area alongside the fence and parking that's good for walking an anxious dog before entering the park.

This is a good-sized park for big dogs to stretch their legs. There are some strategic water pionts throughouy. The only issues are 1) There are still some ignorant and lazy owners who don't pick up after their dogs, and 2) there is no shade for the park. 3) There is no place to sit if you have cardiovascular issues.
