Drop by because it's known as 1 of the well known foodies spot. Taste at PAR but not kind of delicious food which tempting me go back n taste again. I order deep fried "Wang Jiu Ji i.e chicken rice wine". Drinks not at PAR Kopi taste very thin. Price wise is slightly higher then usual Bao selling at most of the coffee shop. Services still have plenty room of improvement.. I guess da middle age uncle are the boss n the boy who sitting at counter are the business owner.. their face is like boss acting face.. when taking the menu from my table without notified us or say a single word like u still need it or can I take it? lack of basic manners.

Need a place to tea time? This place is for you! Soft and flavourful handmade pau is a most recommended to try! Price is so far affordable.

[Non halal] the paus are yummy and the siew mai is quite delicious too. You can also see the kitchen where the chefs are chunking out the paus. There is an option to buy frozen pau. Ample parking

The black soya milk is tasty, the herbal tea wasn't great. The glutenous chicken rice (lor mai kai) was a total let down, not tasty at all.

The bun itself not the best and fluffy i had The content inside is where this shop good at Generally meat is chunky and flavourful and unique, but all bun i had the content bit too dry Wine chicken is heavy in ginger flavour wih hint of wine, bit dry Red bun somehow feel mix with black sesame, not sweet feel like slight burned Char siew chunky meat, good flavour, bit dry Dim sum is flavourful and tasty, can be too much seasoning to some. no luck on another signature which is fried salted fish bun… !*The steamer rack is on top of the sewerage, sometimes it can smell bad in the restaurant…

Place is abit hot and stuffy, probably due to the fact that the bao manufacturing line is part of the store. Tried the fried bao (黄酒鸡), was actually impressed by another form of bao eating since normally we only eat steamed bao. Taste was mediocre, nothing to shout about. Price wise, slightly expensive.

Staff were not friendly. The shop was warm and stuffy and there were fly everywhere. Food was okay thus a 3 star.

The taste of the bao is average, especially their recommended dish, the Huang Jiu Ji Bao. It's not worth driving there if you're traveling from far away.

Mr. Black Bao is definitely a better Bao than the other one in the village. More choices and prices are reasonable. You can have a nice cup of coffee to savour the Baos at leisure. A must try.

Sell frozen bao too. 5 pieces in one packet. I like the fried bao which is something special.

We were here after lunch to taste their baos. Bao taste okay. Not as fantastic for me to revisit. Servers were quite unfriendly and impatient when we tried to place order for dine in and to takeaway some home. They sell frozen baos in pre-packed with minimum unit per pack, they were reluctant to give us 1 extra plastic bag when we requested for it, because we wanted to split 1 pack into 2 (as gift for family).

Their pau's are very fresh and nice. Love the amount of fillings they used, very generous actually. Drinks also not bad

This is a BAO shop with many varieties. Said was hand made by themselves. On average the BAO taste, texture and content can be rated 4 out of 5. Do supplying frozen BAO for your take away. Slightly higher on price - *a Tanjong Sepat (TS) Tourist pricing, but still consider low price if compare to another take away famous BAO shop in TS. However, the coffee is below average. Go for the BAO only. Don't expect a friendly welcome from the shop owner. Can considered the service from the shop assistants is much better and friendly compare to shop owner. Can have a visit if not been there before.

Over rated and way too over priced. The prices was even higher than PJ. Went there once and would never go back. The young boss uses bare hand to pick up the bun from the steamer and this is during Covid. Totally unhygenic.

I don't know about others. A bit warm and stuffy to dine in. Price not so cheap for a bun. Don't really like the taste because one of the ingredient for the buns used to make moon cake. The drinks are too sweet and worst is a lot of flies trying to land on the food. My second time visited the place since 4 years ago.

Tried a few type of pao or buns. They have the option of steam or fried and with varities ingredients. The yellow wine pork bun is nice.

20221018 The pao skin is abundant but taste nice. The content is upset. Price is not economy.
