Dropped by for dinner on a Friday night so there was a queue. However, it did move very quickly so there was hardly a wait. First impressions are great as the Tom Yum broth was very flavourful and thick. It had the right balance of sourness, spices and ingredients. Pandan chicken was juicy and marinated well so it's a plus. Fried rice was okay and not in anyway bad but the Tom Yum did steal the show. Prices are pretty high but the portions were justifiable in a way. You can definitely order a few dishes to share in bigger groups.

Taste of the food is good if a little bit expensive. Service is efficient but could be friendlier. The one reason I won't go again is because there were so many flies about. Definitely not a pleasant dining experience when you have to swat at flies as you eat.

Busy busy ! Means good food at good value. Most dishes served were tasty except the steamed fish (overcooked) and the Thai style omelette. The crab was exceptional - fresh, meaty and tasty although preorder is required. No wine service but ice bucket available. Bring your own wine glasses.

Grilled pork shoulder is delicious and the clear Tomyam soup is nice. All the ingredients are quite fresh. It's quite packed even during weekdays, better to call for reservations before you come. Will come back again.

Located at the quiet rows of shops within Ara Damansara, Jatujak is a local favourite for sure. Prepare at minimum a 15 minutes of wait should you not have made any booking in advance. However, the food is worth it though price-wise it's on the high side. You will notice that many of the patrons would order the Siakap steamed with lime and Garlic, so that's a must to order for the first timers. Rest of the dishes are pretty good by KL's standards. Don't forget to order the desserts such as red ruby and mango sticky rice which to me is the highlight!

Authentic Thai food! Super popular Thai restaurant! For walk ins, go up to the counter to place your name, don’t wait in the queue! There was a long queue when we were there but the queue’s turnaround was rather quick, we were there around 8pm. Seated, ordered and served at 8:20pm Must Order: 1. Clear Tomyam seafood soup - the perfect balance of sour, spicy and sweetness! One of the best that I have tasted! 2. Grilled pork shoulder - taste almost like Char Siew! Fantastic! 3. Lime steamed fish

Good Thai foods near Ara Damansra. Easy parking and available seat outside and indoor. Foods are good taste and portions are enough for 5 people. The dessert is not bad. You can try on it.

A great place for authentic, delicious Thai street food in KL. Almost all 6 dishes were delish... My fav? The crab fried rice and deep fried pork knuckle. Both were well executed. The fried rice is simply oohlala... The umami taste and the fragrance of the egg mixed with Thai rice is so well balanced making it simple yet so satisfying. The pork knuckle is crispy, and tasty without being overly dry or salty. The others were also delish, the green curry, fried kangkong and mushroom, salted egg mushroom, and the pad Thai. Only the mango sticky rice is just par. Will definitely be back to try the others.

Love the siakap garlic fried fish. It was the best of the lot. Portion is big, for RM73. Their signature spicy pork rib came in such a big portion at RM72. I feel it's quite worth the price for their portion. The salad with cockles not very good as the blood from the cockles spoiled the taste of salad. Clear tomyam soup is too spicy for my friends but just nice for me. The boss (I think) was there, he was so kind to help us in getting a cake for our celebration. Service is fantastic from the boss. Although his team members might find our requests a bit much. 😅 Parking is easily available right outside of the restaurant.

Found this Thai food restaurant when we were starving for Thai food. The foods were quite authentic and the service was speedy too. We didn't manage to order steam fish but ordered grilled pork stick, fried squid with salted egg york, papaya kerabu, seafood are very fresh. Will definitely return for other dishes.

Red Tomyam is more towards sweet taste, but the soup was thick, with generous amount of ingredients. Seafood was fresh and clean, and well cooked. bbq pork stick quite nice as people’s recommended. Food quality is tip top. Still worth the try but if price could be cheaper, might go for second time.

Great place for Thai food. On the surface the deco and ambience seem unassuming and not classy. But when you settle in and experience the service and taste the food…. It all fits in. This is Bangkok street food. Nice simple tasty! Not Pretentious and imposing. The food was tasty all around and they got that right. The price is matching as well and affordable and just right for everyone’s budget. If you like Thai food. This a must try. Worth traveling the distance to dine here!

Love it, love it, love it. The Red Tom Yam(Seafood was awesome. Ordered the large one for 5 pax and we still have extras. Mango salad was a bomb. Grilled Pork Stick (Moo Ping) come with generous amount of pork meat(not fats). Lime Steam Siakap was good too. Grilled Pork shoulder and squid was really good too. We made as mistake or ordering Tom yam and the steam fish, should have order either one only as we ended up with too much awesome soup and no space in out stomach to store. 🤣 Will definetely visit this place again, soon.

“Probably The Best Thai Food In Town” Overall: Having spent a year in Thailand, we grew to love both the Thai culture & the delicious food. Whilst we were in Malaysia, we have been on a hunt for delicious and authentic Thai food but have yet to find one. With their bold promise of “probably being the best thai food in town”, we transport you back to the days where we could still dine-in to discover if this Thai Restaurant is able to deliver. Phad Thai RM (14.90) Ask any Thai. Phad Thai is never complete without supplementary fish sauce & additional sugar readily available. Today, despite not being provided, the dish in itself was delicious enough. It was not too dry, slightly moist with a hint of sweet. Just the way it is usually cooked in Thailand & absolutely delicious! Therefore even if they did provide fish sauce & sugar, we probably won’t have used it anyway. Seafood Curry Powder (RM 45) Taste: A perfect melody of fresh seafood fried to perfection in an extremely flavourful curry. We could smell the dish even before it arrived at our table which made our mouths water. Mince Pork Omelette (RM 19) What sets Thai omelette apart from others is the fluffiness & crispiness of it resulting from running it through a strainer & into boiling hot oil. Though the omelette was flavourful & crispy, it wasn’t as fluffy as we would have liked it to be. All in all, despite its shortfalls, it was still delicious but could have been slightly better. It is not probably the best. It is, THE BEST we have had thus far. Judging from the quality of the food, we are willing to bet that the chefs that made the magic happen are actually Thai. Their food there is very scrumptious although it is expensive. The fried kangkong and mushrooms were very nice. (recommended) Their green curry is a bit spice for me. (recommended for people who can handle spice) Their mango salad was also one of my favourite. (recommended) The Pork Stick had no fat and was easy to eat. The portion of the meal larger as i ordered takeaway. They also gave us some mango pudding for free. 40/10 very delicious!

Craving on the streets of Bangkok, surrounded by street stalls selling curry, noodles, soup and more is every food lovers dream come true. Try Jatujak Bangkok Street Food, Ara Damansara. Pretty packed during lunchtime time but you can try your luck to call. If u are lucky someone will pick you up. Parking is not an issue. Plenty of parking just parked Slightly further or behind the building… well is good to warm up for good food 😆so u can order more dishes. Wheelchair accessible, good for family gatherings. But this place doesn't have many big round tables ( I think is only 1 round table) The dish presentation was not bad Portion is generous Pricing is reasonable so long dishes are yummy! They sell Thai beer, Thai milk tea, and other Thai drinks. Do try their pork shoulder meat - melts in your mouth and is nice to go with a glass of cold beer Non-Halal ya!

Wanted a simple dinner but we felt like having some Tom Yum, so, we found a Thai restaurant not too far from where we were in Ara Damansara - Jatujak... Ordered Tom Yum Gai (clear soup variant) , minced meat basil and paku belacan... All of which came faster than you can spell McDonald's. Food quality and authenticity is impressive, good serving sizes, indoor air cond and outdoor seating are available, clean and prompt & friendly service staff - what's not to like.. Gave 4 stars as we have only tried 3 dishes out of many... Will update review once we have had the chance to sample more

I've been here a few times. The food here never disappoints. The first time I visited this restaurant, I couldn't stop raving about their green pork curry. This time , we tried a few not-so-conventional dishes - Lemongrass pork ribs, salted egg corn salad, Thai laksa style prawns. They are all very delicious. As the restaurant is doing a promotion now, if we spend more than RM188 (before tax), we can order a lime steam fish at only RM12. A very good deal indeed. Certainly a good choice for dinner on a cold rainy day!

Hidden Gem for Thai Food in Ara Damansara area. The taste was very authentic for all the foods we ordered and delicious. You should also try their Sambal belacan which was spicy and tasty. The price is also reasonable. Worth trying!

The pork knuckle was crunchy and the dishes are quite yummy as well. The white Tom yam soup has the kick, not too spicy and lots of mushroom and seafood inside. However, the rice is a no no for this shop, my advice is if you could bring your own rice please do so. Thai food is so rich in flavour that you will unintentionally indulge in lots of rice but it was soooo hard. The rice is uncooked as you can still bite the hard inner part. Overall I love the dishes but would think twice going back hesitating the inconsistent quality of rice. #ricefam

It's pretty common to know that great Thai food can be found in the most hidden shop houses. So if you had the chance to travel down a long Petaling Jaya area and wish to enjoy something more sophisticated and authentic, then you definitively got to try out Jatujak Bangkok Street Food which located in the center of Ara Damansara slightly further away from the glamorous Oasis Square area. Jatujak Bangkok Street Food is mainly focuses on serving you fine Bangkok Street Food which lies on the street of Thailand that are all cooked from freshly daily ingredient and some even imported all the way from Thailand itself with 100% no MSG added. It is suppose you could call it a hidden gem and once you have discovered this place you will want to come back for more. Being located at this part of Petaling Jaya with little else going has its benefits especially when it comes to parking. The shop itself too get to occupy quite a decent alfresco area since there isn’t any other competition nearby, which all translate to a good start to any dining experience.

The Thai food here is authentic. The red seafood Tom Yam was really good with the right balance of sourness and spiciness. Every table ordered the sour steam fish, and we did too. The chicken green curry was also good, with a generous portion, considering the price we paid. Generally, all the dishes that we ordered were nice. We will definitely be back. However, it can get very crowded, so we recommend making an early reservation.

Tasty and yummy Thai food is found here. Enjoyed the clear Seafood Tomyam very much. Had the Seafood Glass Noodle and Pineapple Fried Rice plus vege Paku Sambal and Hatyai Fried Chicken. All the dishes was yummy and reasonably priced. Advisable to make prior reservations caused the restaurant is really packed. The newly refurbished and renovated original unit is almost completed and fully opened soon.

Best Non Halal Thai Food Restaurant... Not only it's good but the service is awesome as well... This place is so popular the queue is fantastic.. we waited about 30 mins to be seated and there we some dish were late and we already started to feel full... The PIC kind enough to admit their mistake and allowed to cancel the last dish even though they are preparing it...

Aroi Mak Mak 😍🇹🇭 Tangy, Salty, and Spicy! This Thai delicacy deserves every bit of love!! My mother and I had a Thai gastronomical extravaganza today which was delicious to the core 🤤 It was a costly affair but the taste & quality really compensates for it 👌🏻 1. Moo Ping - Grilled to perfection with amazing seasoning; it had perfect meat to fat ratio and was a really good appetiser to start of the Thai Feast 🐷 2. Crab Meat Curry Powder - This was surely the highlight of the meal in terms of TASTE & PRICE 🤣 It was thick, rich and creamy with succulent pieces of crabmeat swimming inside the curry powder gravy!! The whole effect was a treat for my tastebuds , and a seafood lover’s dream 😍🦀 I really loved the curry powder used as it was rich in turmeric, chives & onions making it aromatic and fragrant!! 3. Kangkung Sambal - A really powerful dish because their sambal had an extraordinary kick in flavour which keeps you wanting more… 🔥 4. Seafood Fried Rice - Plain and bland fried rice with few pieces of squid and prawns; it was too plain, but went well with the dishes we ordered as our other dishes were very strong in flavour 👍🏻👍🏻

Popular Thai food restaurant at the Ara Damansara area. They have extensive Thai food items on their menu - seafood cook in many ways, grilled items, deep fried stuff, fried vege, something for sharing or just for individual. Cook by Thai chef, food here are as authentic as you can get from Thailand. Expect queue at dinner time especially during weekend and public holidays.

Food was generally good except for the salted egg mushroom and the dessert. Would recommend the grilled squid and green curry which is really good. One of the best green curry’s I’ve had. On a friday night with having almost all tables occupied, our food was served within 10 minutes upon ordering. The waitress isn’t the friendliest one.

Thai street food In Ara Damansara or surrounding areas, Jatujak should be the default choice when it comes to good Thai street food. Ever since the first time that a dear friend bought me lunch here, I was hooked and even brought the family here not long after that. They had since renovated the whole premise and it definitely looked modern and refreshed. ◾Blanched cockles - trust me when I say that nobody does it better than the Thais. The accompanying green chilly sauce was a perfect match with the bloody molluscs boiled to medium doneness. ◾Tom yam goong - gotta love the bright orange/red colour of the soup which had the right balance of spicy, sour and saltiness level. ◾Khao kha moo rice - I could literally consume the whole plate of this tender chopped pork trotter alone. Delicious ◾som tam with salted egg - to me, som tam is only authentic with salted egg. ◾mango sticky rice - the kids claimed that the dessert was one of the best, and proceed to order a second helping. On weekends, be prepared to queue for tables if you come on peak hours.

Made a reservation before coming and it was confirmed fairly quickly. Dropped by around 7 and there were PLENTY of ppl waiting in line. Out doors are pet friendly, so we brought along our little kitto. Ordering system is via the zeoniq website which can be a little confusing for some. Placed our orders and the dishes started coming after about 10 mins. Highlights; Tom yum soup was creamy, roast pork papaya salad was good, mushroom & some vege deep fried with their special sauce was good too. Wouldn't order again: the deep fried pork knuckle. It was hard. Tasted like they messed up someone's order previously then they decided to deep fry again for us. Green curry was very mild, tasted more coconut milk than the green curry. Would come back to try other things I suppose.

Thai street food at premium prices. Not sure why this place is packed when the food is not that special and quite pricey! Grilled cockles were way too cooked and some muddy inside. Glass noodles so-so. Freshly pressed orange juice was with added sugar. Crab fried rice nothing to shout about. Pork knuckle like home-cooked only. Only the red ruby stood out 💕🍧. We arrived a few minutes before opening and the tall and good-looking guy wasn't very welcoming.

  • 4/5 Ameline L. 1 year ago on Google
Have been here twice and still think the food is amazing. Friendly less spicy tomyam option available. Recommend to add glass noodle to the tomyam. Grilled pork skewer, prawn cake, and pandan chicken are the must-orders! Service is relatively subpar. Shop should install bell service to ease customer calling waiters. Proper waiting service training for the staffs can increase customer satisfaction and smooth operations.

One of the best Thai street food around PJ. Very reasonably priced and the Tom yum is awesome. The dishes generally generous and the pork tasty. Just to note the to yum seafood and alot of dishes had squid so when I ordered grill squid it was too much squid for 2 pax. Overall great experience

Having notice this restaurant have 2k review I've just got to go. However I'm disappointed with the food after I've tried. Dint even finish and when the staff notice and asked whether we want to pack we just politely decline. The Hatyai Chicken is dried, Pa Naeng on the other hand have abit of peanut butter taste in it and another 2 dishes just not tasty. However, business was bustling when we arrived. Heard it is one of the first thai restaurant in Ara Damansara. Decor wise have some Thai feel in it and I think its a hit to most Malaysian but not for me. Bill came up to a total of RM186++ including taxes. Ouch...

If your looking for good Thai food, then you are at the right place. The food here is amazing. The atmosphere is OK, they have renovated the place and it's much better then before. There is ample of place and the food is prepared fairly quick. Sometimes you may need to make a reservation on weekends as there tend to be a waiting line during peak dinner time. Price is on the higher end for a standard feel restaurant, but it makes up for the tasty food. Had a small tomyum, omelette, salted egg squid with a drink and rice came up to about RM100.

Did not expect the authenticity of this to be found in AraDamansara area!!. Locals review gave this place a five star as their food taste superb and the choices of Thai flavors are broad based. Our first time here so we played safe with just few fisher. A must come place

Been here several times. One of the best Thai food in the area. Taste: 5 stars ⭐️ Ambience: -0.5 star ⭐️ because there were a lot of flies and tables were slight packed Price: -0.5 star ⭐️ because it used to be more affordable and the serving was more Recommended to make a reservation first else it’s going to be a long wait Overall, will still come back again for authentic Thai food
