Bought Manga Comics for my daughter as today is her 11th birthday. Smiling face, after her wishes come through. Kinokiuniya full and pack with quality books. Just name it and you will find as your desired. Some of the staff is friendly and helpful. Wishing my childhood could be the same as today....

Ahh, the Mothership. Still the only worthy reason I'd brave the KL crowd and traffic. This store has one of the best selections for contemporary, language, classics/literature, horror/thriller, politics, manga and Japanese titles. Now they even have a dedicated 'Tiktok' section to appeal to the gen Zs and social media literates. I've been to the Kinokuniya outlets in Japan and Singapore but this KL outlet is still my favorite, due to the sheer volume and variety of tomes available. I'm also in love with the ample space and layout here, it's very peaceful and relaxing (but of course sans the crowd on weekends or public holidays). No doubt, as it is a brick and mortar, the price can be a little daunting, whatwith the proliferation of the cheaper options by secondhand/preloved and online book stores, but they're getting more aggressive with the marketing, with the ongoing promotions, highlighting different authors/genres every month. It seems like there's always this 20% off promo each month, so if you're targeting certain books then it's best if you pay attention to their social media on the latest promotions. While this outlet is a book haven for readers, I wish I could say the same thing about their website. It's not user friendly and if you have the luxury of time to go the store instead of purchasing online, I'd definitely recommend the physical store for the experience.

The only proper bookstore in Malaysia with a wide collection of titles. This is my go-to place when I want to look for niche genres of books. The location is on the higher floors of Suria KLCC, and the main escalator takes you up there. The store is super huge and the staff here are polite, knowledgeable and very helpful.

A 5 star bookstore in Kuala Lumpur, located in KLCC. A lot of Genres - Literature, Social Sciences, Politics, Religions, Language, Comic, Children etc. This is a place that suit an entire family, where you can instill the joy of reading together as a family. They have a wide range of books that suit every age group. The selection of books are great. From professional, health, science to hobby and craft and so much more! Please remember to visit their stationary corner, they have plenty of imported items from Japan and Singapore. Its very useful and good in quality, where you don't get it from others places. [Please note: this bookstore is not targeting school exercise books where you aim for A' s and need a lot of work books.] I'm amaze by their comic, Japan and Chinese section. Books from Taiwan and more. All books are in good quality and upto date as much as they can. The books price is at mid to high side in Malaysia, as most of them are imported. I'm yet to discover another bookstore that have the same level as Kinokuniya in KLCC. I have visited Kinokuniya in Japan and Singapore. I can't compare directly because the selection and reading culture in both countries are in huge gap compare to Malaysia local reading culture. This make KLCC a unique place to gather and hang out!

The only bookshop in Malaysia that has a diverse range of books. Very popular. Good selection. Good customer service. Staff are very helpful. They also have a coffee club upstairs. There's a selection of Japanese books. We'll worth your time here.

Usually ordered book from them online, but coming to the store directly, is a one of kind of experience. Really extensive collection of books from various genres and topics can be found here, especially titles from overseas that can’t be found at normal bookstores. There is also a cafe in-house, but it seems like always occupied and not easy to get seats. Located within Suria KLCC.

You need to have enough time to be here & enjoy the smell of books & knowledge. They have a cafe on the mezzanine for you to enjoy your breaks for coffee. Staff are attentive if you wish to find certain book title or author. Do bring your own bag, paper bags are chargeable.

Kinokuniya KLCC is a bookstore that offers a wide range of books, magazines, music, CDs, manga, and more in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Malay languages. It is located on the fourth floor of Suria KLCC, a shopping mall in the heart of Kuala Lumpur City Centre. The bookstore is spacious, well-organized, and has a cozy atmosphere. The staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They can assist you in finding the books you are looking for, or recommend some titles based on your preferences. One of the highlights of Kinokuniya KLCC is the café, which is located inside the bookstore. The café serves a variety of drinks and snacks, such as coffee, tea, juice, cakes, sandwiches, and salads. The café is a great place to take a break from shopping, or to meet up with friends and fellow book lovers. Another feature of Kinokuniya KLCC is the stationery section, which is located near the entrance of the bookstore. The stationery section offers a wide selection of high-quality and stylish stationery products, such as notebooks, pens, pencils, stickers, planners, calendars, and more. You can find stationery from popular brands, such as Midori, Smiski, Sonny Angel, and more. The stationery section is a paradise for stationery enthusiasts, or anyone who loves cute and creative items. Kinokuniya KLCC is a bookstore that caters to all kinds of readers and interests. This place reminds me of MPH MidValley. It's big with many books selection and with a calming ambience. The interior design is beautiful and cozy. I like it that they have a mezzanine floor with laminate flooring, so you can find a nice private spot to sitdown and browse through the books to decide which ones to purchase. The bookstore is located just opposite of Petrosains. So, if you bring your kids to Petrosains, it's a good idea to also bring them to Kinokuniya.

So many options! Books, manga, law student textbooks! Even exclusive collections are easy to get here, especially mangas. The price tho is a bit expensive than ur usual local bookstores but that's to be expected. The place is huge with a cafe upstairs too.

My recent visit to Kinokuniya Bookstore in Kuala Lumpur was an absolute delight, and it truly lived up to its reputation as a haven for book lovers. Upon entering the store, I was immediately impressed by its vast selection of books covering an extensive range of genres and topics. Whether you're a fiction enthusiast, history buff, or someone seeking self-improvement, Kinokuniya had something for everyone. The well-organized shelves made it easy to navigate, and the store's spacious layout created a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for browsing. The staff at Kinokuniya were knowledgeable, friendly, and ever-ready to assist customers with inquiries or recommendations. They seemed genuinely passionate about books and were happy to engage in conversations about literature, making the shopping experience all the more enjoyable. One highlight of the store was its impressive collection of international books, including rare editions and titles that are not easily found elsewhere. As a language enthusiast, I was particularly delighted to discover a diverse selection of books in various languages, which added a unique touch to the store's offerings. The store also featured a cozy reading corner with comfortable seating, allowing visitors to take a moment to delve into their newfound discoveries or simply enjoy some quiet reading time. Moreover, Kinokuniya Bookstore's location in Kuala Lumpur was convenient and easily accessible, making it a must-visit destination for both locals and tourists looking to indulge in their love for books. The only slight downside was that some books appeared to be on the pricier side, but the wide selection and excellent service more than made up for it. In conclusion, Kinokuniya Bookstore in Kuala Lumpur is a book lover's paradise, boasting an extensive collection, friendly staff, and a comfortable environment. Whether you're looking for the latest bestseller or a hard-to-find gem, this bookstore is the perfect place to lose yourself in the world of literature. I highly recommend a visit to Kinokuniya for an enriching and delightful book-shopping experience.

I love this bookstore. It has various varieties of books. They also have books in English, Bahasa Melayu, Mandarin, and Japanese. They always have new release books. They also sell stationeries. It's so crowded, and there's a long queue in the cashier on the weekends. However, it's quite empty on the weekdays.

still one of the best place worth getting flights to get into. Clearance (book) at 5rm, nice cafe but prices getting crazy standard Demand/Supply - there is supply for the seats within this cafe therefore prices go sky rocket, despite food worth a quarter that price. patrons come into Kinokuniya for the cafe, sit overlooking KLCC Park for up to 4, 5 hours (yes. is it even humanly possible to sit that long??) But still a good place, if you lucky.

Absolutely one of my favourite places to be back when I was in Malaysia, Kinokuniya is like no other bookstore, it has great books that I cannot find in other bookstores, and how it is always tidy and neat even though it is always packed of people ! The calming music that’s always on, you just enter and your mood boosts immediately! You must give it a visit while in KL!!

One of the best bookstore in KL, Malaysia. I was able to find few books (not rare though) which I couldn’t find in any bookstore in France and Italian riviera (including Milan). Store is huge and they are open to take order incase you couldn’t find your favourite book on the shelves. Hope this helps.

Best bookstore by far in KL. Very wide range of books in many languages. Store is well set out and easy to navigate. Staff are friendly and helpful and they can order pretty much any book you request. The one annoyance right now is that currently you pick up ordered books at the busiest payment point..a change from the past but not one for the better!

A great bookstore at the KLCC if not in KL. Sell a variety of books, and then some to bookworms and not. In digital times, this is one of the few bastion of physical books. Entering here gives you a scent unmistakably of books. Located at the topmost floor of the mall. #RP

My favourite book store! Don't forget to try their Coffee Club restaurant, KPC members get 15% off too! Protip, to avoid long queue at payment counters, on busy days you can also pay at Info Counter near comics area. Sometimes they open that counter. No queue over there!

A good place to find a variety of specialized books, such as those on medicine and law. The customer service is quite friendly too, and since the books are organized into their respective sections, it is easy to find the subjects you need. The prices may be a ringgit or two more than those at other bookstores, but it's understandable.
