    Had disappointing experience on our way back to Singapore from KL on 14 June 2022. We opted for premium coach that comes with individual capsule, wifi, tv, meals onboard. How unlucky that our coach aircon was down. All passengers were perspiring in the coach. The driver had to stop at Yong Peng to transfer us to another coach that arrived from Genting. We had to wait for more than 2 hours for the coach to arrive including time taken for the current coach's passengers to finish their meal. Worse still because of the last minute passengers that took the coach from JB that got stuck at Singapore Immigration, almost another hour wasted. The coach then had to alight passengers at Jurong East. So we paid premium price for all these?? All in all our journey back home from KL was 9 hours! Yes, thanks to Transtar! What an awful experience! Never travel by Transtar again!

    Bad bad bad Bought ticket redbus online for Transtar Travel from TBS to Golden Mile Complex. Bus was suppose to be 3pm. Bus arrived but already full. Told us to wait for 3.30pm bus. It came only at 4pm. For RM120 this is unacceptable service. Transtar must buck up. Seem to be lots of complains but nothing being done to improve. It's suppose to be a better bus service but horrible. 1 hour wait is just crazy. Never ever travelling on TRANSTAR again.

    Gave them a go since they have an alighting point at Jurong East. Despite being an Luxury Bus, the vehicle wasn't very well up kept. The supposedly massage seat was extremely uncomfortable, the headrest was almost totally flatten and as such when you decline the seat your head will fall back awkwardly with the backrest protruding out, I ended up seating at its most upright position the whole journey. The personal touch screen works ok but the selections was limited so I did not use them mostly. The chicken in the bento was probably tougher than the disposable utensils that came with it. Will stick back to KKKL next time, it's a no-frills ride but at least their fleets are well up kept and the seats comfortable.

    Bus scheduled for 2:30pm departure to sg on 11th June 2022 was informed to 4:30pm departure. Waited from 4:15pm at the pick up location but not seeing any bus till 4:35pm. Unable to reach customer service too. Received another message that the bus will further delay another 2 hours at 4:50pm. This is nearly 4.5 hours delay from the original scheduled departure.

    Some of the busses look a bit worn down, some have no front seats on the upper deck, and a kitchen area is there instead. The entertainment system is OK. It is no airline system, it uses a game controller to pick anything, and often the sticks have broken off, so you need to use a pen, but the staff are always helpful. To and from Singapore from KL, we arrived on time both ways. Office only had one toilet, which was the squat kind in service when i visited, there were insufficient seats for a full bus. The bus itself was on leaving KL was rolling about on every turn, but as soon as we got on the highway, all was good. Food served both ways was absolutely fine, about what you would expect from a mediocre short haul business class flight, and you have the chance to buy more food at the rest stop. I know most of what i've said is bad, but when you factor in the price, and how long you'd spend from central KL getting to the airport, check in, security, arriving 2 hours prior, heading in to central Singapore from Changi and flight time, there is not much in it, for a substantially lower cost. The bus is comfortable, staff attentive, city centre to city centre, and its cheap.

    Transtar Bilion The bus was suppose to depart at 2.59 only arrived at 4.30pm and departed at 5.50pm. After, cross check with other customers the company combined 2.59 schedule with 4.30 schedule, and the route was amended to JB- Seremban-TBS KL. Very irresponsible bus company!

    Had waited 1 hour for our bus. There is no counter or station at berjaya time square. Receive their WhatsApp messages 1 day before, was informed our bus number + waiting area and boarding timing. Our original boarding time is 2pm, while at 2.09pm only receive an WhatsApp message that our bus and boarding time was changed to 2.30pm. We only managed to board on our bus on 3.18pm. There is no further follow up message from the operator with such a delayed, call also no pickup. You can only pray for the bus will come and they never forgot to pick you up. The replacement bus seat is big and comfortable, is a massage chair. They did provide a ipad or screen to play video however is not function at all. Got a controller panel at the sides. Can adjust your leg rest panel, seats easily. Not sure the socket or charging point on floor is it mean to provide for the guests. Definitely i won't charge and place my phone on the floor. They did provide a table for you to place your laptop / food / ipad on it. 2 ways bus tickets cost SGD70 per pax. Its a long journey, 8 hours rides. Would recommend to download some movies or drama for the ride

    I would like to file for a complaint and a partial refund for the tickets purchased. The bus was supposed to depart at 230pm Dec 16th but a replacement bus only came at 330pm. Then, the bus only took them to JB CIQ. There, my young daughter and her grandma had to wait for more than 3hrs with no one giving any guidance, drinks or food. The bus tickets I paid were for better if not premium service. The bus condition was terrible and the long delay was not acceptable. If Transtar is not competent to deliver, then don't sell. If you sell at such high price vs. others, please deliver the service. I will file a complaint with Consumer Associations of Singapore, Transport Ministry of Singapore as well giving you a poor review. You have my contact number, I expected you to call to explain and apologize on that travel date but nobody made any effort. Don't treat your customers like goods! Real con company! Look at the picture if you think that's a luxury coach!

    This is a scam transportation company. I reached out to them about a mistake in my ticket date purchase. They emailed me back saying I could change the date but no refund. So i emailed them back, requesting to change the date to a later date but they never replied my email and just completely ignored me. Rm97 burn just like that. They pretend like they care for the customer but they dont, they only want to make money.

Total travel to singapore golden miles complex takes 7 hr 30 min Overall - not recommended unless you would like to sleep through, but will be awaken by loud announcement for stopover

    WORST BUS SERVICE EVER! WARNING TO ALL NOT TO EVER EVER TAKE THIS BUS, AS WHAT THEY SAY IN THEIR WEBSITE IS COMPLETELY THE OPPOSITE. TOOK THE SOLITAIRE BUS AND IT TOOK ME 10 HRS TO TRAVEL FROM SG TO KL. THEY HAD TO MAKE A DETOUR THAT TOOK AS 2 HOURS JUST TO PICK UP THE LADY WHO IS IN CHARGE OF SERVING DRINKS. AND THE FOOD THEY ADVERTISE IS ACTUALLY JUST CRACKERS!!! WHEN THEY REACH BTS, THEY WILL CLEAN BUS FIRST BEFORE IT GOES TO ITS FINAL DESTINATION!!! WHAT A LOUSY AND TERRIBLE SERVICE.

    7 October 2023 Great and pleasant experience with them Decided to try Transtar Travel as I heard and saw plenty of good reviews on TikTok. I was pretty surprised for my trip as I was the only person on the bus so throughout the whole trip, I was well taken care by the service they provided. The trip was provided with quite a number of choices for drinks and biscuits, and it also came with a complimentary meal which was pretty decent. The bus was quite old and it was quite dirty as well, didn’t really know how to TV works at all… But it was really comfortable even though it’s an older vehicle of theirs. Overall, I really liked the experience with them and would give it another go. My trip was S$45 for the Solitaire Suites from Kuala Lumpur to the Grantral Mall, Singapore.

    Terrible experience in first class suites from KL to Singapore. Saw previous reviewers wanting to leave NEGATIVE reviews and now I understand why! Where to begin… We were supposed to leave at 6pm, ended up leaving at 10.30pm. The contact number provided was not picking up any calls on WhatsApp/phone, so we had to walk over to the KL office with our big cases in 30 degree heat to speak to someone about when the coach was going to arrive. The staff in the office explained the bus was 4 hours late. A joke!! There was a hotel lobby opposite the office, so we waited there for 4 hours. When it was time to get to back to the office at 10pm, I asked the lady why the coach was so late and she said this happens all the time!!?? If this happens all the time, then you should communicate this to the passengers! Apparently the driver had set off at 9.30am, and was now arriving at 10pm. I asked if a different driver was driving us back, she said no. I said surely that’s unsafe to be driving for so long, to which she replied “hmm hopefully will be fine”…! At this point, I was filled with zero confidence. The ‘first class’ coach itself was ok, although my partner’s chair had a broken massage function so kept waking him up every 10 mins with dodgy buzzing in his back.. we got a meal on the coach, which again was ok. Despite being sold a 4 hour journey, it took us 7.5 hours to get to Singapore and we arrived at 5.30am - this was with very minimal traffic! Immigration etc to get to Singapore was fine. But I do not understand why this company is not clear with how long the journey would take, and how late they would depart. Just be honest with your passengers and set clear expectations.

    Worst bus service ever. I bought the ticket from their website on 27 Nov, the booking was not successful but they charged me. Emailed to their Customer Service, their respond is super duper slow till now this issue havent settled and i havent get my refund yet. Can u guys improve your systems and ur customer service quality?? PLEASE GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY!!

    1st of all rude driver....2nd since it was a holiday in spore..when we reached spore imigration clearance...there were bout 200ppl waitin for clearance..well i dnt blame spore imigration as there were lack of staff as it was a holiday... The driver of transtar AHJ 388 or AhJ 383 not sure w the bus no..left 10 of us....we were stranded and did not notify us anytin Thanks God...same company but it was a Transtar premium driver name HALIM..he offered to let us in the bus and stopped us at beach road...thanks mr halim we wil always appreciated ur kindness

    To go KL in their solitaire was great. Coming back to Sg was a total failure. Our solitaire return trip was cancelled. We got downgraded and after Malaysian customs we got further downgraded. We paid more to enjoy the space as we have physical body problems and needed the extra space and paid extra for it but our return is a complete disaster. I am waiting for our refund for the price difference.

    Do not board Transtar! Disgustingly dirty interior. It looks as though it had never been clean before. The floors are full of hairs and dirts. Baby cockroaches are seen happily crawling all over our seats. The customer service provided were good but for the price we paid, this coach pretty much not worth every single cent. Not to mentioned that we were assigned different seats from the ones we booked. DO NOT BOARD TRANSTAR. It's a total rip off. P.s. I tried several times to upload all of the photos. But im not sure why google just doesn't seem to allowing. Photos kept on missing.

    When I saw the reviews I felt instant regret for buying tickets with this company. I was very afraid that the bus won't come as stated in other comments. However, my experience was different. The bus was as expected, clean & comfy (for their prices I never imagined something luxurious & ultra modern). We made a 'check-in' with 30-40 minutes before departure at their counter. They placed us in a clean waiting lounge. When the driver also checked in, that was the time when we'd get ready for departure. The staff & bus driver were friendly, we had many luggages and they helped us transfer them to the bus and out. We had a bit of a delay at the border, but the bus driver waited for us. Also, at one stop, another person got lost and the bus driver kindly waited. I'm satisfied with the service provided.

    I travelled with my family which include 2 kids and 2 elderly to KL and they don't even bother to drop us at hotel entrance and want us to walk 5 min to 10 min walk to the hotel with our lugguages and with kids and elderly. There are a lot of vehicles there and we have to see their map to locate where is the hotel. This type of service really very ridiculous for packages booked with travel agency. The person Sarah who help us book also didn't explain to us properly. When we call back singapore branch to ask, they still deny say they don't have hotel approval to stop there. And they deny everything and say everything is black and white stated on invoice and mentioned she got inform us when we do the booking and ask us to take grab taxi instead. But we are not told and aware of it till we collect the tickets on actual day at golden mile complex when they give us the map. When we go back singapore, the bus even break down on the bridge and we have need to wait for another bus to come for more than 1 hour and is raining heavily.

    I bought a solitiare first class ticket costing me rm150, i wanted a more comfortable ride back hence the extras. When i checked in early, they told me thay I Was downgraded, while they supppose to refund me the balance, when i tell what would be the price of the refund, they told me in a range of rm60 but will not be comfirmed due to they have a arrangement with easybook. Basically took a rm90 ride for a normal bus ride. Then nevermind, during boarding my assigned seat was not located in the bus... total embrassment. NOT at all recommend first and last time, solitaire buyer beware...

    They don't even worth a star even upon 5. You may take the risk to travel with them if you don't really value your time because this company and crew don't value your money the passengers' time. Never imagined the usual 5 hours bus journey from JB - KL would take 7 hours even without traffic! They said KL but stopped at Seremban and few other places before reaching Seremban

    Absolutely fine experience on the Transtar Solitaire coach from Singapore to KL. Bus arrived 10 minutes before departure (though we were the first stop, so it may have been a bit late getting to the other pickup-points). A lady came aboard and reminded everyone of the Malaysia Immigration Card, which was great. We cleared the Singapore side in a few minutes and the more difficult one, getting into the Malaysia, only took around 20 minutes for everyone to go through, go to the bathroom and get our stuff back on the bus. Very smooth experience. My only "complaint" would be the lack of information of what was going on, when to bring our luggage etc. But I had read up on it beforehand, which I guess they expect people to. The interior of the bus was fairly clean, but very old and worn. Still, the seats were comfortable, the food was good (we got the most delicious vegetarian meal), and the lady serving us drinks and snacks was very nice and friendly. They also offer blankets and headsets. There was no WiFi, however. All in all a very pleasant ride and we got to KL in good time.

    The bus driver and the assistant anyhow pointed there was a road block and there was just a few passenger. On the way to Malacca. Im very angry the fact that they sent other passengers to outskirt of Malacca, and delay over 1hrs, bus plate KEG6666. I would want my money back instead of sending us the right place to Melaka Sentral.. they use the excuse road was block and pointed the Melaka Sentral is 200m away. I feel so con about this service.. never ever take this bus again!

    Comfortable seats and comfy. However, we paid solitaire suite rates for SVIP due to holiday season. Recommend to book early to avoid paying more than the actual price. Overall, friendly staff from their office.

    The overall experience is great! The service is good and they even have coach attendant to serve you hot drinks and meal. The seats are quite comfortable as well and they reach just on time for my ride. Manage to clear both sides of custom in 30 mins but the bus have to wait for everybody to clear the immigration before they can move so there is a bit of waiting time there. The interior of the bus is a bit old however the seats are very comfortable and you can even semi lie flat and it comes with ear piece and entertainment as well. They have multiple stop options too. I've paid sgd50 for the transtar solitaire and overall a happy customer for the service rendered.

    I bought a Transtar bus ticket from TBS KL to Singapore, was supposed to depart at 2.45pm but the bus was late and ended up depart at 3.20pm. And I was really surprised that we had to transfer to another coach when we arrived Tuas Johor Immigration checkpoint to enter Singapore. This is really taking us more time and effort. The interior of the bus is also very old and gross. Please think twice if you want to take this bus for a long journey.

    Unfortunately travel with checking bad review on everywhere. busy delay but at least informe,then delay again without inform.at this moment everyone stuck at custom from sg to kl,company say need to change bus. In fact no bus no instruction, everyone just wait like hopeless and clueless where should wait to change bus. first and last experience.

    Transtar Travel were excellent from start to finish, the driver arrived on time & the bus was extremely comfortable with massage chairs and substantial amounts of leg room, we stopped a couple of times for food etc & still arrived in Singapore earlier than expected, will definitely be using again!

    The buses provided looks old. Driver drove too slow from KL to Singapore although there was no crowd at both the immigration check points. It took 8 hours to complete the journey. Returning from Singapore was even worse because we were made to change to another bus with the same registration number. This caused 2 elderly women to get on the wrong bus and the driver had to search for them.

    Horrible. I had lost 2 luggages with their coaches. I immediately contacted them-no reply at all. Contacted them via email too- no reply. The flagship coach was paid for but in actuality the sublet the contract to another bus provider which was dirty not the same service and type of bus paid for. Bus driver was sleeping in the bus and locked the door at immigration checkpoint with all the passengers stranded for more than hour.

    A joke, my second time disappointed with this bus company. Nowhere to complain.. Bought a ticket from KL to grantal mall and driver go Jurong drop off, then said asked everyone to come down at Lavender. This is grab or bus? Why not follow ticket location?

    If you have to travel from Singapore to KL or from KL to Singapore and dont want to waste the whole day travelling, don't take bus with company. It took 7 hrs when it scheduled for 5 hrs. Have too many stops.taking flight is way better choice.

    I had a disappointing experience with Transtar a couple of times. I booked a ticket to Singapore via redbus, from Berjaya Time square to Singapore on 4 th August (Friday) 5.00PM. The bus never arrived and I waited for more than 2 hours. There is no way to contact the company . The number didnot go through. I paid RM100 and dont know how to recover it.

    Very bad service 4th sep we booked solitaire from KL to SG and last minute they changed the bus. Massage is for name sake total waste of money. While returning we thought it would be good but nightmare the driver and staff was very rude couldnt behave well, they didnt give water to my 3 years old daughter for more than 2 hours. Dont waste your monday rather book another service. This guys are worst.

    Hi I booked bus from spore to Kl and paid sgd60 (solitiare suites) On the day of departure i received sms saying that your company downgraded to superstar z bus and you will refundthe fare difference Until today no refund has been done. Instead of we get down at berjaya times square, the bus stop at jalan imbi. Its so inconvenient I would like to know - when are you going to do the refund? Pls revert as possible.

    This bus service used to be good. Use to take this bus travelling from SG to KL. The service was good we love the super coach and the meals, but there’s no wifi, usb charger not working, and no movies. Unfortunately now the service is worst. Too many stops and take very long time for a break. The office staff are rude! And the Chinese driver’s don’t speak English. And be prepared to be dropped off at the non designated stop in Singapore. Sad but true.. Now i opted out for a different bus services.

    Not what they advertised, claiming to be a luxury coach. No wifi on bus, seats are dirty and broken. They bring you to smelly gas stations for a quick pee instead of going to a proper rest stop. No more coach rides for me and my family. We will take flights from now on

    Initial boarding time was 2.30pm, delayed an hour to 3.30pm. Around 3.30pm, still unsure whether the bus will come, but few minutes later, it came but was asked to switch to another bus when we reach the Malaysia border, fine. When we reached Malaysia border and wanted to get on another bus, the bus was not there, we waited 1.5 hour at the border while raining heavily, tried to call the company in MY/SG, none of it gone through. All the passengers need to wait at the border without any information. When the call finally got through, we were told the initial bus tat is supposed to come is not coming so they gave us another car plate. When the bus came, the bus had other passengers which means 2 different batch of passengers on 1 bus!! When we left the bus, the inital bus came. So fine, we had a break on the way to kl, was told to have half an hour break, but we ended up having to wait for an hour for the bus to continue the journey. The total delay has easily added up to 3.5hours. Worst experience I’ve ever had. Please do not book Transtar or im sure you will regret

    Worst travel agency I ever had!!!!! They promise a lot (Wi-Fi, new luxury coach, 5-6h travel time) but we got nothing of it for 80$ SGD (2x Ticket Singapore-Kuala Lumpur 9:00am). After years of traveling I found the worst travel agency! Don’t book anything at transstar travel! Very old and used busses. We waited almost 2 hours at the border of Singapore/Malaysia to jump from the first normal bus into the booked “comfort bus” without any informations about the missing bus. Bus driver was horrible and touched/released the throttle every 10 sec. :( Instead of 5-6 hours travel time we needed in total 11-12hours!!!!!!! Horrible

    The experience was good, but since the bus is not reaching at the pick-up/drop point on time people should have a dedicated sitting place far from heat/rain/cold and any uncertainties. Our returning experience from Singapore was not pleasant because we had to wait for more than 30 minutes from actual pick up time and we reached there 45 minutes before our pick up time without having a proper sitting area.

    Suppose to depart at 2pm from genting to Singapore, bus was delay until 2.30pm then depart. 30mins drive to the foot of the mountain and change to first class solitaire suite, PP55L, seat14 the back rest cannot be lower down, leg rest after awhile getting lower and lower cannot suppose weight. Whole bus very shaking sitting inside really very uncomfortable, feeling dizzy and feel like vomiting. Totally cannot get a good rest back to sg. Horrible experience, never again will take transtar. I would like to advice transtar if the sit is spoil please don’t sell the seat to the customer, check all the buttons and function if it’s working before you sell the seat. We are paying a lot more to get a sit which I can get to rest comfortably back to Singapore now because of the spoiled back rest I have to sitting straight position 8hrs back to Singapore. I inform the driver and the coach they came up to check on it. The driver (ah cai) was seriously rude, keep raising his voice. When ask him why he have to keep raising him voice at me, he just simply say “because I come china!” During the journey back to Singapore the coach ask everyone whether wants to order otah, but this coach didn’t bother to ask me and my friend. The service was totally horrible.

    WARNING !!! Worst coach company ever! 10/12/19 @ 8am coach from Sin to KL route, after 7+hours on the road, including 1.5 hours of dropping off everyone else at their stations (which we were not told during ticket purchase), we were the last two ladies on board waiting to continue the journey to the last drop-off point at Sunway Pyramid. We were so shocked that the Malay Driver suddenly came to us and asked us to alight!!! (at One Utama) and he said that he will book a Grab cab for us to go to our destination at Sunway ourselves! Driver kept saying that ‘I will pay! I will pay!’ He claimed that he was late and need to go back to Singapore! Adding to the horror.. We were unfamiliar with the drop off point for coaches at One Utama and no private cars can be seen around there, where are we supposed to go get the cab? What a Horrible and Irresponsible staff that Transtar has! After we insisted not to get off at One Utama, driver then reluctantly continued the journey and showed a very unhappy face! :( Return trip 13/12/19 KL-Sin was also a disaster! We supposed to be on a Solitaire coach, but we received a last minute call just slightly less than an hour before pick-up time that our coach is downgraded and new pickup time will be one hour later! ?? And the coach arrived late..! Coach was dirty and with stained seats. As for the fare difference, we were told that we will need to go back to Singapore to wait for the Singapore staff to call us and to arrange for refund.. because we bought the tickets from Singapore! :( What an unreliable and terrible coach company! :( You should never let your loved ones board this unreliable coach company! Beware of Transtar! :(

    The bus was nice and clean, very comfy seats and all went smooth. when we arrived in KL I left my wallet in the bus, the driver was really helpful and gave the wallet to the local office so I could pick it up later, thank you soo much!

    One of the worst bus operators. Ticket was issued by counter from JB to TBS at 10.29pm but it was already 11pm and the bus did not show up at all. The management at larkin counter told all to get into another terrible bus which was BILLION STAR. RUDE DRIVER, UNCOMFORTABLE BUS, NOISY, DRIVER WAS SMOKING, BUS MADE MULTIPLE STOPS, JOURNEY WAS FOR JB TO TBS NON STOP. But this bus entered Tampoi Indah, Tun aminah stesen, then stopped at pagoh at the roadside as someone was waiting to get into the bus, and entered seremban after that. The whole journey was unpleasant.

    My bus was at 6.15pm from Larkin to KL. I rushed from Singapore after work thinking that the bus will be on time. I asked the person in charge when the bus will come and he just told me to wait. The bus finally came at 6.50pm and I boarded the bus. Then the bus stopped at Tun Aminah bus station. The driver said that we could go to the washroom. When I came back to my seat, there was someone else sitting at my seat. They actually sold the seat twice. So I was asked to seat at a different seat. The bus continued the journey and again stopped at a Petronas near Skudai toll. This time the driver said 10 minutes for toilet so some passengers got down.
