Booked their family premium suite x1 and standard room x1. Total 14 of us. Requested for cups on the first day but get rejected, reason being no cups were served to suite as they had experiences in losing it before. But there were two cups in standard room. Requested for floor bath mat but didn't get it even after two nights stay. Requested for water bottles as we did not choose for room makeup, but didn't get it until we feedback to the manager. Found a used towel hanging in the wardrobe. Plug was not working properly. Breakfast on Saturday was very simple, Sunday was good. Most importantly, *WATER HEATER WASN'T WORKING*. Had to shower with cold water for two days. Spent almost RM3000 for two nights but gotten such a poor services. Good things- Mattress and pillow were comfortable to sleep on. Full paddy field view from our room. Manager Michelle did answered to us nicely after she gotten the messages from receptions staffs. Hopefully you can look into this matter and make sure staffs training has done properly.

Worst hotel experience ever. We booked into a family deluxe cabin. The room a big and spacious for a container hotel. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the room was not cleaned well and the bathrooms were filthy. When the cleaner reluctantly came, they arrived with 1 cloth to do the cleaning. The 40” TV had 2 fuzzy channels, no WiFi, no complimentary tea and coffee (which were all supposed to be included with the room rate). Loud bagging and construction literally beside our room. Banging and drilling started daily at 8am and continued through the day. No intercom or phone in the room for any requests and had to physically go down to the reception to complain. On the second day, there was no running water in the room, so no shower or toilet use for a number of hours. The staff were under trained and the management didn’t respond or be bothered about any complaints. We feel very cheated paying full price for the room as many of the amenities that was advertised through the website was not available. And on top of that, we were horrified to find out that the hotel scheduled and continued major construction without any notice or caution prior to our booking.

We are surprised by the iconic green paddy view from our room little balcony, facing the swimming pool, it’s stunning. Didn’t expect a swimming pool in Villa Chee, and to our amazement, it has 2 pools with slides. The bunk beds are crafted from wood and metal frames which are sturdy, kids are happy to have their top bunk beds. Our stay was so relaxing, hotel service was good. A recommended place to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Nice paddy view. The above is the ONLY positive point, which is trumped by many negatives. 1 Don’t be deceived by the pictures of the brick hotel. More than half the rooms are in containers. So tiny. Very claustrophobic and so expensive. A quad in a container costs RM420 per night (Fri and sat nights). 2. Walls are very thin. Can hear everything your neighbour does. 3. Although there’s a heater, the water isn’t warm despite turning to maximum temperature. 4. No kettle. No cups in the room. 5. The breakfast they provided on Sunday morning was a nice surprise but turned into a BIG NEGATIVE. We turned up at 9 am and there’s no food left. Was told the buffet won’t be replenished and should have come earlier for the full spread. What a joke! If the hotel wanted to offer a nice surprise, then pls do it sincerely. I won’t return. For the price paid, i could have stayed somewhere else. Other container hotels are nicer.

booked queen room (second floor) for rm180 a night. room: B209 the location was top tier, with a breathtaking view of the paddy fields during the day. it was also only minutes away from main tourist attractions (mango king, ah ma house, wishing tree, bagan fishing village...). the only problem about the location is the amount of insects that would sit on the sliding door to the balcony at night, which stopped us from having our supper outside. however the receptionist did warn us about insects at night during check in, so i can't complain about that. if your room is not directly facing the paddy fields then the insect problem might not be as prevalent. the room was very comfortable overall. aircon and water heater was working well, bed was very comfortable. cleanliness was very good except the blanket had a small black stain. one concerning thing about the room was that when the lights were on inside, people from outside can look in and see everything through the glass sliding doors, whereas from the inside we only see a reflection of ourselves. they had curtains to cover the sliding doors, but the curtains could not be closed all the way. another thing is that there's no mini-fridge or kettle in the room, and we had to go to the shared refreshments area next to the reception to get boiled water. despite all that, it was a good place for short trips or if you're mostly out-and-about and only come back to hotel to sleep.

Nice place, nice breakfast but do come before 830am, we came to have breakfast around 9am and the prawns are already finished. Wifi wasn't really working at night after 11pm, and there is bike rental as well, you get rm5 discount if you leave a give star review on Google. The staffs were friendly.

The villa is very nice, looks very high class. Paid RM158 per night for a deluxe king bed. Easy to get to all the famous tourist spots and eateries by car. Although there was some issues during check-in but it was resolved fast. Room was very clean and spacious. TV not functioning. Wifi reception was poor from the room. Toilet was large, and equipped with shower heater. Hair dryer provided was salon-grade. The only drawback was the room is not soundproof. Can hear the kids shouting, and screaming from the container. You can also head up to the 4th floor to have a view of paddy field.

If we are looking at this from the perspective of a finding comfortable accommodations, then this might not be the best option around. However, that said, this place does offer some other things to compensate for the slight discomfort and inconvenience - one of which is the novelty. First, the considerations that make this less comfortable and convenient than conventional accommodations options: - We booked a room meant to accommodate 4 persons, and it was rather crammed even with 2 adults and 2 children. We barely had space to walk around with our luggage in the room. - Noise insulation was also pretty bad. We could hear everything going on in the public areas, and the noises lasted pretty late into the night. - Some of the standard amenities in traditional accommodations were not available in the room. These included things like hooks in the bathroom (nowhere to hang clothes and towels), no clothes hangers in the room or bathroom, no shower curtains (clothes get wet if we left them on the toilet seat cover while showering), no kettle (we don't like bottled water because they are not environmentally friendly and not healthy), and no storage. - We were also unfortunate to be allocated a room which came with a balcony looking into a blank wall. - They claimed to serve breakfast until 10:30am. However, by 9:15am, they stopped refilling the food and there wasn't very much left. That said, there were some other aspects of the stay that were positive: 1. The novelty - there are some parts of the experience that are just different from traditional accommodations, and the kids found these to be fun. 2. Facilities in the common areas within the place were pretty good, and there is enough to entertain the family. 3. Nice views and nice neighbourhood in the vicinity. 4. Staff members were mostly friendly. 5. Private carpark. 6. My family loved what was on offer at dinner.

Good service by the hotel staff. Room service was efficient. Check in was a breeze. Room was clean. Breakfast spread is good, food is nice. Only that theres no early check in as the hotel is back-to-back, so only able to check at 3pm. Otherwise, everything was great! We had a pleasant stay..

Overall, am satisfied with everything. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable and doesn't have bad odour or bed bugs. Water pressure was good and shower was comfortable. Only 2 concerns: 1) The price is a bit on the high side for the amount of amenities provided. If the price is lower by 20%, I might consider weekend staycations more often. 2) The breakfast in the morning is not up to par for me. Also the refilling for food and drink was a bit slow. Besides these 2, I'm quite pleased with the stay.

Great location for relaxing and away from city hustle, surround by paddy field. Though my visit not at a good moment as the paddy just being harvested, thus can only see burned field. Very great foods, nice room and great views.

The place is not value for money. I could have stayed in a 5 star hotel for the price, size and service. The pool is dirty, room is not clean, there are hair found on the bed and floor. The insulation is poor, I can hear very clear snoring in the next room throughout the night. Breakfast is served till 10am but many dishes have ran out. I requested for hard boiled egg and some other food that has ran out at 9am but the chef mentioned they won’t refill the food as they have to pay for workers to work extra after 9am. We have to pay extra to buy ice cream as the ones at the breakfast ran out as well. I made a complaint but I never gotten a response back. I raised the same complaint at the checkout and nothing was done nor any explanation. I will not return to this place.

Booked 1 villa with 5 bedrooms. Didn't mention that this villa is outside the main building. Which mean we have to drive in and out to get to the pool. The villa is very spacious, but no iron and towel rack or hanger is provided. The view is spectacular and the pool area is very nice.

🙂- Facilities is good especially can sing k. I was staying on cabin superior room - upper floor and the view is so nice. Early morning open the curtain can see the whole paddy field. The restaurant and hotel staff is so friendly 👍🏻 The room was clean and tidy. Great Experience in Sekinchan! ☹️- The soundproof of the room and I can hear the ppl who talking beside the room. The toilet bowl is so noisy. Room didn’t provide fridge or kettle for cooking Maggie cup. I hope can improve next time then it will nearly perfect !🥰🥰

Beautiful place with beautiful scenery and atmosphere. Very calming place. Nice place for the whole family. Amenities is good and many places of attraction nearby.

Firstly my friends and I enjoyed our stay. We booked a last minute room, managed to get a ground floor container cabin without view but the basic amenities were fine although really basic. It is a homestay ish place, don't expect 4-5star treatment. Things are new. The staff just need to ensure cleanliness when cleaning the place. The reviews I read regarding their service did not happened to me. I checked in at 3pm and it was a breeze. Staff were helpful. Multiracial team as well. The night breeze on the top floor during the night is perfect for hanging out. Bonus point is waking up for sunrise and a short run/jog or cycle by the paddy field in the morning. Darn peaceful. Security was also good to ensure groups were not making too much noise. The con however were the roosters where crocking the entire night. Can't help but wanting to eat them in the morning!

I booked through Agoda and the hotel info me the room was not available and gave me a other cabin for one night. The most worst experience is when i request extra pillow to nurse my 1 yrs old daughter, the male supervisor with a spec told me that this is a homestay but not a hotel that give u extra pillow!

Lots of fun things here! From bikes to mini arcade. Rented bike for evening stroll 🥳 However for the rooms, the walls of the room is very thin and you can hear the kids playing shouting in the swimming pool, if you are planning to rest here then you cannot sleep in because they are too loud playing since early morning. Some of vending machines are not working when im trying to get cold drinks so hopefully the management can do maintenance regularly. If the management can add on fridge in the rooms would be great too!

Loved the location of our overnight stay. Our room is on upper floor facing paddy field. Sun rise is absolutely beautiful nearby after we checked out. We skipped the complimentary breakfast due to time constraints to visit Sky Mirror. Hope that Villa Chee can make the breakfast time earlier at around 6am. Amenities provided adequately. Water heater needed a little repairing because the water flow from shower head is not smooth.

Not a guest but allow to visit and have meals inside restaurant. This place is good for family. Kids should have fun here. Buildings top floor can get awesome view of the rice field. At night led lightings is beautiful. However rooms are containers type not spacious.

Nice place overall....looks fairly new and most importantly, clean. It's well lit at night from the exterior. Lots of activities for kids from the pool & mini slides, mini playground, bike rentals, karaoke cubicles and arcade games. There's mini kiosks/dispensers to buy snacks, drinks & ice cream too. Staff are friendly. Container rooms are naturally small, but providing more hanging spaces in the bathroom would be better. Best if there's a kettle, noted it may be impossible to have a fridge. Was quite surprised that I needed to return a towel to get another towel, if I'm staying one night. Overall I think this should be the BEST hotel in Sekinchan....of this range....

This is a no frills hotel if you plan for a short stay. It truly lives up to its 'container hotel' name. The space in the room is quite small so not much space to walk after putting your luggages. But the view facing the paddy field is fantastic. Facilities in the hotel are sufficient with games room, pantry, restaurant and even massage chairs. Staff were friendly except that the ones in the receptionist could be more responsive to calls. Tried to call few times because my hp was left in the lobby washroom but no one answered. Had to go back to the hotel and glad it was still there. Overall a good short stay for us.

Stay at hotel style room on Delux King. Room is clean, comfortable. Toilet is clean and spacious. View is great 👍. Only something I can't understand is why there is no place to hang cloth or towel...

Overall full mark!!! 5/5 2nd time here. they improve alot especialy the front and parking area. love the vibes. super clean pool, nice playground, facilty and interior resort is nice and cozy and well mantained. the view is superb. i really love the sunset and sunrise view of paddy field here.. my god.🥰 Container room is real good. space is just right for king bed, 2 adult and 2 child. most important is the bathroom is clean!! yeah love it❤️ my kids gone wild loving this place. car parking is spacious, guarded, proper and standard. its is properly tarmac, parking line and nice bright lamp all over the place. dari jauh mmg nampak ada class. 😍 some more, food and eatery is real nearby for dinner and breakfast. love u villa chee. its a sweet memory for us. keep it up! defenitely will come again and promote to my friend and family🥰💕

Nice accomodation with ever friendly staff. Restaurant seafood within the vicinity is affordable and superb. It also has other facilities to enjoy. Imagine a swimming pool in a paddy field. Good place to unwind.

Place is well sufficed with seafood restaurant beside the villas. A pantry with hot water and vending machine, game room, swimming pool and playground. To improve is the room where there is no table to put stuffs and no bedroom slippers. Toilet also no ledge to put toiletries. Toilet roll holder can’t function properly without the toilet roll flying off the holder every time you try to tear some tissue

We stayed at the superior twin square cabin ground floor. Location is superb, and room is clean. Only downside is that it is right beside the swimming pool so can be a bit noisy, and that there is no hangers at all. Would recommend to bring hangers.

We checked in to this place and it was worth it. A superb view from the roof top. There are a lot of activities you can choose cycling, swimming and many more. We book two room queen size bed is facing the paddy filed (better) and hotel room is facing the carpark. Three things I would like to highlighted to the owner, 1. Please install an exhaust fan in the toilet. 2. Please provide place to hang our clothes in the room. 3. Please provide more TV channel not only the local channel. A part from this, this place is very sexy and high recommended if you are coming to Sikenchan.

Great place for family getaway. The rooms were big and bathrooms were provided with shower gel and shampoo. However my personal opinion the shower gel could be further improved with a much nicer smelling ones, the karaoke box air conditioning needs to be repaired and the coffee/teh tarik vending machine also needs to be repaired.

3. Star accomodation, cabin container type As not many places to stay at sekinchan. No breakfast.. Only padi field view

Villa Chee was a beautiful place to relax and calm. We truly enjoyed our stay if u want to have a peaceful, lazy stay. We loved the view as they have an open balcony on the roof. Overall was a sweet experience.

Wanted to express my 1st time experience in this Villa Chee. Once I step in the hotel room, I saw the flooring tiles was very dusty and corner full with hair and sands!! Furthermore there not even prepare the simple chair/sofa we can sit for chill but only can sit on our bed😒! Outdoor facilities eg. renting a bike for 1hr at RM40 is rather expensive to me. WiFi not working well as well! This was my 1st stayed and last stay here!

Unfortunately, in my visit on 6 Nov 2021, there are black out incident starting approx. 8.00 p.m till 12:30 a.m because of TNB line. Host have no back up generator , and no explaination nor apologize convey to us from management. Other than that, everything is okay.

Spending one night here and this cabin concept hotel is unique & cozy, if they can keep well of thier cleaniless & maintenance it will perfect, suprisingly thier breakfast was quite rich.

Stay there for one night, host contacted me to change from villa chee to their home stay where we agree to do so, but in fact the homestay condition is super bad and dirty. Even though the home stay price is higher. I really don’t mind to maintain back my stay. Anyways, the homestay bathroom is full of cockroach, fridge was not clean, dish wash area was super dirty, inform even dare to use their sponge to wash my water bottle. Shower area is just next to WC, when shower the water will splash on to the toilet roll and it will be soak. One of the towel rail in bedroom two was broken. Only one plug in the master room while the master room can fit four person. I won’t stay here again, the cleanliness of the whole place is super sucks. Respond from the staff is super slow, i asked for hair dryer and ask whethere it is water filter, she didn’t even bother to reply.

It's value for money! Clean room and delicious breakfast with variety of choices. Comfy bed and nice paddy field scenic view. The only con side is many insects due to it's location which is a natural side.

Room - Smaller than expected but it was great stay with small family and unique bunker cabin. Rate 4 stars because sound insulation really not so good. Yet super nice view in day time on green paddy field and bird flying in morning. Breakfast - Superb above expectation with great selection and tasty, small recommendation is to have coffee and tea ready easier for customers rather than hot water and prepare by them. Facilities - kids can spend 1/2 day just in vicinity with playground, arcade, swimming pool and horse & bike facilities. Good job in maintaining the facilities and small paddy field for photo taking without hassle to go out. Spacious parking place.

Generally had a good stay despite some minor hiccups here and there. Management were quick to resolve issues. Staff is warm and attentive. Came for the view, stayed for the comfort. Does feel like home away from home as advertised.

Villa Chee is the most enjoyable hotel accommodations in Sekinchan to be honest. Their rate is very reasonable for the stay. They have many facilities such as pool (baby pool), game room, karaoke and most amazing is the open roof top common area (level 4). You can have a glance of the whole paddy field of Sekinchan. We stayed at the container rooms. Very cozy for a weekend staycation away from town. The hotel staffs were also very friendly. Overall we had a very good experience here at Villa Chee

I'd highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Take the container rooms facing the padi fields at the lower floor. They have bunk beds and four can share a room. Don't expect five-star hotel rooms but everything u need is there. The service attitude of the staff was also very good and welcoming. I'd definitely return.

Very recommended to other to stay here as the place is very strategic, clean. it has it own activity in this at here. just the iron not preferable we need to use it only in surau. so you need to go down iron your shirt then bring back to your room. but still recommended.

Room is nice. Staff is friendly. Bad for breakfast. When staying there please be early for breakfast. Say last call is 9:30AM but at 8:30 no longer replenishing food. When asked saying that they are not allowed to refill as they have quota. Taste of food good.

This place has surpassed my expectations! There are arcades, bicycle for rental, convenience store, mini karaoke room, kids playground & swimming pool, all within the property. The room is comfortable & equipped with full amenities. Love it!

Quite expensive for a container size stay even during weekdays. Simply place to sleep and washroom, nothing else, no kettle and no mini fridge, considering it's size. Nicely sculptured surroundings but for me personally, for a paddy field experience, there are other not so expensive ways to experienced them. Maybe family with younger kids will enjoy with the pool and playground area but for me, way too expensive. The sitting area facing the pool not enjoyed because the raining after check in, and the heavy sun during the day🤦‍♀️
