Food is average at best but the price is aggressively 5-star. No way a subpar engawa ikura cold capellini should be priced at 200 bucks (I recently had a 120 bucks but much better executed cold capellini with crab, uni, ama ebi). And that lobster tail swimming in some under-seasoned, watery foam is an astonishing 300 bucks. The 400 bucks degustation menu has not one single memorable dish (yeap even the croissant was worse than any decent bakery’s). Most food is either too salty (truffle butter), or under-seasoned (the bouilabasse and lobster foam). Even the signature soufflé is too sweet. Service is attentive so no complaints there. Some of the kitchen staffs were very young, and lack the enthusiasm and bustling you typically see in a fine dining restaurant. Even at half the price you are spoilt with choices in kl. It is like paying omakase price for sushi zanmai. What an expensive letdown. A dining experience I wish I could forget

Let me start by saying that the fine dining opportunities in KL are rising, and becoming more and more competitive. Overall, I enjoyed my experience here, but will I be coming back? Probably not. Why? Because there are other restaurants that offer better, more innovative and delicious food for the same (if not less) price. The food here was OK, but honestly, nothing extraordinary. Service was very good.

Went for gf birthday lunch , we had the set lunch on Saturday, service was attentive . It was a lovely birthday lunch , we like the escargot , capellini was refreshing and tasty . Beef is good 👍🏻 here ! Halibut fish was fresh . Pastries were fabulous , we really like the croissant 🥐 ( Doux Doux by Chateau Dionne is their sister company ) . Birthday cake on the house was lovely 🥰

Had such a delightful dinner experience here with a bunch of friends. Food was utterly delicious, exquisite and inventive, staff were super attentive but not intrusive (how it should be!) and the ambience was perfect. Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect evening out. Thanks in particular to Chef Andy (so talented!), Jing, Samantha and Jacky - you guys rock! And to lend a famous quote… “I’ll Be Back!”

Had my first experience trying a fine dining tasting menu, and it exceeded all my expectations. The flavors were exquisite, and every dish was a delightful surprise. The croissant match with truffle jam is super good. 😋My favourite dish are Cheveux D’ange and Foie Gras, the taste was remarkable. For the sweet finale, I had higher expectations. It would have been great to see more creativity and unique flavors in the dessert offerings. ✅Overall is good Total for 2 pax without wine RM950.

Tried the degustation menu and it is a good experience. The environment is very good and the service is excellent. The quality of food is good especially the mains which I ordered wagyu beef. The crossaint is excellent and mixed well with the truffle butter. The dessert do order the souffle which is one of the best I tried

Celebrated my bf’s birthday at this place. Overall the food was very good.. the restaurant is based on an open kitchen concept where you can see the chefs cooking your food. The food presentation was beautiful as well. Each food presented to us was then explained very well by the chef/ waiter on how the food was cook. The highlight was probably the dessert we tried. The soufflé was probably the best soufflé I’ve tried in my life! The inside was so moist!! Nothing that I ever tasted before.. I enjoyed the dessert so much that I almost had the urge to order another one 😅😅 and because it was a birthday celebration, they even provide us with a mini chocolate mousse cake for my bf.. appreciate the thought.. thank you🥰 the service overall was okay.. Some things to point out: - the scallop we had was a little over seasoned on the outside.. perhaps this is just based on personal preference. The outside was too over seasoned that the scallop inside was a little under seasoned.. - the Australian wagyu oyster blade was very tender but there are some parts that are difficult to cut because of the tendons. And finally.. one more to take note: When it’s time for payment, I paid with my credit card, swiped and tap a few times in the machine, it says host timeout.. what put me off was your waitress words.. she said that there is something wrong with my card… honestly I find it very offensive. If my card has problems it would state card decline on the machine and not host timeout. So I offered direct transfer, then she took it back at the bar counter.. and came back.. ask me to try swiping it again. So I did. And the payment is through without delay.. initially everything was good, although there are some hits and misses in the food but I can definitely get pass it…. however, I was put off by your waitress feedback.. so yea. Again.. thank you for serving us!!

The best and my personal favourite French restaurant in Malaysia ♥️ Chateau Dionne has one of the most freshest oysters in town for sure🤤 I love the ambience and the vibe of the restaurant. The service is superb and the food is delicious 🤤 My favourite has to be soufflé which has both the ideal amount of sweetness and fluffiness ✨ and the beef is so juicy and melts in your mouth. I’ve been to Chateau Dionne many a time and not once did I not have the most amazing time ✨ Definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking for a French cuisine in KL 🙌🏼

Fantastic French Dining experience with tip top exotic taste experience. You will never regret of checking out this amazing place with great food, friendly service and exotic environment. They have an open kitchen. You can see the chef preparing food and we have Chef Andy to explain each dish to us. The food served is like an art piece. A must try French Dining experience and will definitely come back again!

Had the Autumn signature degustation dinner, Gordon ramsay should move aside because the beef wellington here is to die for ive never had such melt in your mouth beef with the flakiest, butteriest puff pastry that tasted like cheese Also i couldnt stop eating the bread with truffle butter they gave us from the start of the course. Service staff were also really friendly, they listened to and answered to some weird questions i had like if i could take the truffle butter home (which they helped put it in a small container, they even gave me extra) Ill definitely come back once i have the 💸💸💸

Highly recommend for 5 course dinner! It was delicious. 3 courses menu was a little bit heavy for me. I thought it’s a french restaurant but seemed like there is a little bit of twist with Japanese too. Staffs are genuinely nice, friendly and caring. But the pace between every course was too slow so I found that it’s too long and I couldn’t make it for bars after the dinner since it took 3 hours to finish our dinner (everything closed at 10pm due to government announcement.) And staffs didn’t notice the glasses of wine needed to be filled up a couple of times. There are some things that could improve but I appreciate all the efforts during the whole dinner from staffs!

Quite an overdue review, nevertheless better late than never. Successfully proposed to my other half at this amazing restaurant! Server, food and environment was top-notch, chef even greeted us and left a heartfelt note. Do not forget to try out all their dishes and the crucial not to be missed signature souffle. 5* stars through and through!

Château Dionne A beautiful french restaurant nestled in the hustle and bustle of Bukit Damansara area. The restaurant exudes a calm and romantic ambiance with beautiful french music serenading the diners. Service by Chef Andy and his team has been nothing short of impeccable. Every dish was executed well and beautifully presented . Every element on the plate was present for a purpose. Our personal fave was the foie gras which was cooked to perfection. It was nicely caramelised and charred , paired superbly well with the port wine sauce. The fresh medley of fruits and salad balanced the dish well. Oh don’t forget about the freshly baked croissant! It was so good and definitely not to be missed is the canele! As for the dessert, the soufflé (we are number 7356) is a winner in our books. Overall we had a great dining experience. French food done superbly well with a local twist. p.s: The sourdough bread was a tad hard. The lobster dish was a tad salty for our preference.

We went on a Thursday, table of five and the service was great, we were the only ones there! Every single dish was freshly made, delicious and left you wanting more. The head waiter explained each entree. You could tell the chef and his team (you could see them with their open kitchen) took pride in their presentation of the dishes. Classic French cuisine (small portions) in a comfortable setting with well dressed staff. We had the oysters from France, Cabillaud cod which was crispy outside and soft and fleshy inside, Cherry Duck Breast, and the mouth watering Wagyu tenderloin which is a must have! A restaurant to definitely go back to!

Had the 2-course lunch tasting menu. Food was good although nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good and attentive as well. At the end of the course Chef Andy would sent a handwritten note thanking for your patronage and I personally find that sweet.

Excellent service, great food. Croissant is my favourite, the rock-aliked cream puff next. Duck and fish soup are good. Dessert will never be wrong to go for soufflé (the orange liquor is just right and nice complemented to soufflé). Thank you Chef Andy & Team, Jim and Samantha ❤

The kind of respect and attentive service when we walked through the door on heavily parked day was worthwhile. CD serves beautifully plated and delicious plating dishes that made each course a delight. We enjoy every explanation and attention to details. Looking forward to returning again and again.
