Very good street restaurant in Dar es Salaam Lots of food available here. Rates are very reasonably priced. Service is also good and food quality is better than others. Also delivered hygiene food. If you go once you never forget that taste. I prefer nonveg food lovers just try once. Parking facilities are also available here. Near to kisutu bus stand.

Visited this place during weekend. Tried garlic naan, masala chips, malai chicken and bbq chicken with orange and passion fruit juice. They served it fast and was quite attentive at our request. It was packed with people though! You can wash your hands with warm water and handwash. It’s also in a convenient location. Family friendly place. Reasonable price. Would go back again.

What more is there to say about this place that hasn't already been said? I'll keep it short then. If you want to experience East African BBQ at its finest don't look any further than this place. Relaxed street setting, amazing food and all for a decent price. Can't get enough of this place.

This is a very popular place with locals which you ought to try if you are staying in Dar es Salaam for a few days. The best selling dishes are chicken on the charcoal grill, dressed in three basic sauces. The only downside is the fact that you actually eat on the pavement (aka sidewalk in the US).

Food was insane....this place is a bbq and its all about meat 🍖, which was amazing as my friends said. Me being a vegetarian I also had great amount of choices.... Totally recommend 👌

Better to walk to this restaurant as parking is sparse. Sitting is by the roadside so leave your phones & other essentials in your pocket. Food was OK! Not as good as they used to be. Got the Gajjar chicken. Good place for people on a budget. They also had an offer giving away free ‘buttered naan’. Hate that they put the straw in the drink! I like drinking from a glass & also don’t use straws so as to avoid the plastic pollution. They need to pull their socks up in terms of creativity. It’s been the same old darn place for over a decade. Innovate or move out for new players.

Great place to eat. Food was excellent. I tried the chicken sekela and the gajjar chicken. Both were cooked perfectly and nicely spiced. The service was excellent also. It was interesting to dine outside on the street corner and see everything being grilled right in front of you. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

The most tasty sakela in town. Service is good. But owner should be open heart. He is charging separate 500tzs for parcel bag even your bill is 80000tzs🤦

If you are a cheese Lover, you better Have Cheese Naan, it's one of the best Naan's at Mamboz. A naan fully stuffed with melted Cheese 🫠🤤🤤🤤

This is some of the best food in Dar es Salaam . . . a combination street-food/restaurant experience. The chicken was extremely tender and juicy with amazing flavo(u)r, nice naan, and cold drinks. I also ate some goat meat which was delectable. There are 3-4 different hot chili (piri-piri) sauces, all of which were very good with the various meats. The atmosphere is fun, right on the corner to people watch, open air table-seating, and friendly staff and owners. Go here. Just. Go here.

Very delicious. Opens in the early afternoon and serves BBQ made over open grills. Eaten there a bunch of times. Tastes amazing and cheap considering the quality. Would really recommend it to everybody, especially Chicken Sekela and Gajaar if you like spicy food.

We stayed in Dar Es Salaam for three days, and on our first night we accidentaly bumped in to this place. We had food there, and just kept coming there for the rest of our stay. The food was lovely, that service was ok, but just be careful ordering fresh juices, as they will put tap water in them without telling you, and if you are a foreigner, that will cost you a lot of time spent on the toilet. Avoid ice aswell, as it is also made from tap water.
