Large selection of old style diner foods reminding you of those road trips across the country... Won't mention the decor, as a move to a new location is on the horizon. pleasant family atmosphere and service make it a casual dining experience.

The name on the front is Live @ Fat Sam's. I felt very comfortable and welcomed as soon as I walked in the door. Has a home like feeling for westerners and Taiwanese alike. Sam is an obvious brilliant man who has interesting hobbies with worldly knowledge. His wife and daughter are also extremely warm and very easy going. Dining includes an English and Chinese menu. The food is prepared to your liking and presented well. The Place is more than a high quality restaurant with a laid back setting , it's like a museum with a collection of books, musical instruments, a wide array of miniatures 3D printed objects and good vibes. There is something here for everyone. Very high quality but not overpriced. Enjoy!

Ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich and was disappointed to find the meat was sliced beef for hot pot. The texture didn't feel right, and overall taste was very different from what I had in US.

food is great, the atmosphere too. if you want some real home made gourmet, this is where you go.
