I really enjoyed my Tony Bish tasting experience. The Bish Chardonnay’s are outstanding and the view through the glass into the barrel room is fantastic. The grass and beanbags outside the front door ensure it’s a relaxing and comfortable place to enjoy a few glasses of vino with friends.

Great place, had a tasting plank of 3 beers and chatted with the Irish bartender about flying out of NZ. All in all a pleasant event.

The wine was lovely, they were very good when it came to explaining everything about the wines. Would highly recommend! We came early on a Thursday so wasn’t very busy but they do live music on a Friday and Saturday.

Devine wine and bought several bottle to take away. Great record selection. Awesome story in the photos and the venue itself being the old Rothmans factory building in Ahuriri.

Fantastic experience - the tapas were amazing - best octopus we’ve eaten and they managed to make cauliflower cool! Drink selection fab. Staff were very helpful - we will be back!

Give this place a miss. We visited at the end of last year but we're given a cold welcome by the barperson. We asked about tasting menu options but he seemed totally uninterested in serving us, answering with only the minimum of information. His attitude and the decor (dead animal skins) really didn't entice us to stay and we left without ordering anything. There are plenty more hospitable places to try local wines around Napier!

Great night at Urban Winery. Amazing performance by HB Jazz Club Big Band, great food and wine, although they ran out of the Prosecco.

A little gem to wine and snack with friends. The tasting platter and the Tony Bish wines are wonderful and the innovation of making wine in the egg shaped barrel made from concrete and oak is such an interesting story.

Highly recommend a visit, especially if you don’t have time to do more wineries as you can try a few local vineyards here in a tasting. Also, Tony Bish Fat & Sassy is *chefs kisses* and super affordable. The set up is in and next to some lovely Art Deco you’ll want a photo of too.

Great little winery and wine bar. Live music on Friday . Did the wine tadting with the platter. Great value. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service especially from the lady who chatted about Vietnam ( sorry i didnt get your name but you were fantastic), the platter was superb as were the dumplings, great wine...what more could you ask for? Nice area to sit outside on either tables or beanbags and plenty of seating inside..especially the corner couches by the music stage....

Had not planned to stop here, but glad we did! An interesting and changing list of beers, along with a large and varied selection of wine. Staff are charming and knowledgeable. This is a lovely, charming venue and I highly recommend it!

Whether you’re a Chardonnay fan or not this is a MUST when in Napier. A great selection of wines and beverages on their list, and the food menu is fantastic. The dumplings were a standout, and we had to order a second serve. For the Chardonistas, all of Tony Bish’ wines are available by the glass. I had the Zen and it was delicious. Had to pick up a dozen Fat & Sassy while there too… Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Fantastic, friendly and extremely helpful staff. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to host an event in the area. With the support of the staff our office was able to host a highly successful event. Must say the food and drink as well as the ambiance of this location was phenomenal.

What lovely wine tasting! We did the Chardonnay flight and loved all of them! Most of all, loved the Chardonnista who explained the history and making of each. She was fantastic and gave great recommendations for how to enjoy the wine and the surrounding neighborhood. Absolutely recommend you stop in for a delightful tasting. Great value too - was $8NZD per person which is waved if you buy a bottle. Great wines for everyone, even if you don’t think you like Chardonnay! Beautiful experience!

There was a group of us and we were so well looked after. The wine tasting was so much fun but also the staff really know their stuff. We also had the most fantastic platter What a great selection of nibbles. Great place to go.

Great spot. A lovely selection of wines and gyms. Comfortable atmosphere. Ending up buying too much wine to take away- but that’s not too much of a bad thing is it? Would definitely visit again. Is in a great Art Deco building - shame there are no original Features still inside as that would have just added to the experience
