    Very big and clean , spacious three story . Food courts ( where you can select your food according to your choice with coupons provided by institute ) are also available as well as mess . Though the foods are generally not hot . Taste is okay okay . Hygiene is good , workers are polite except some . Parking place is big with. Wheelchair slope is available in entrance.

    Food is okay...but not the best of all that we find in the messes of IIT..... coming to maintenance it's a low level .... always here or there is some dirty....no pleasant looking.... entering itself we feel we want to leave as quickly as possible....Maybe they will look after this in the coming years .... thank you

    Newly constructed mess facility for IIT Madras students. Wheelchair accessible. Organised bicycle parking facilities.

    Mess building is well planned and well equiped. July- Nov 2023, Foodcourt - Vegetarian options disappoint at Food court. Items also seem to be overpriced, daily budget feels insufficient at these prices. Zaitoon offers a better value!

    New mega mess building in IITM Campus for hostellers. Ambience is excellent. Firstman Caterers used to serve breakfast/lunch/dinner during our stay. Food was good.

    A very nice and tidy mess...The north indian food served here is better and any North Indian food that I actually ate in North india 🗿🗿

    Nilgiri is one of the three messes in IIT Madras . I always prefer Nilgiri , not Himalaya ( a another mess) based on North Indian food quality and taste . I don't know about vindhya ( Only for girls ) . Both North indian & south indian food are available in different floors in Nilgiri . Ground & 1st floor is for north and 2nd is for south. Keep exploring !!

    Cheap and moderately tasty food. A wide variety of menu to choose from. Friendly staff. But hygiene can be improved. Plates and glasses weren't clean. I'd suggest to stick to vegetarian items. Not sure how healthy is their cooking practices.
