My Mother and I have found a place we pick every time we can treat ourselves!! Such consistent standards no matter the dish! We've tried every type of rib, steak and all the entrees and have never left disappointed. I've watched them drag tables outside on to the porch to accommodate a family with a pet without disturbing the atmosphere inside like c'mon does it get any better service? The service in particular from Milan is unmatched in town, although once I found out he was the owner I understood why his team of staff aim to give that same personal customer attention. I also am unashamedly infatuated with the strawberry cocktail I can't recommend enough!! It's not cheap food, but it's priced and portioned perfectly. Although I'd love to see a deal on a cocktail like 3 for 2 😂 we love to drink in this town you could be the new speak easy if priced for that n few different seating styles upon entry/bar area. I'd actually feel safe going out there! Better value than clubs charging similar prices for lesser quality. Can't wait to return it's been too long between visits!

Last Monday we had the pleasure of dining at The Grill in a large group and i can’t wait to visit again! We went for that amazing menu, ordered bit of everything and everything served was exceptional! Great price, great portions and the kids loved the variety on the kids menu. The name ‘The Grill’ really suits the place well. The staff was friendly and service was impeccable. I highly recommend dining here and supporting the new owner. I wish them all the best. Can’t wait to visit again and see what he does with the place! A++++

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Dined here twice on my recent visit and loved each time. Friendly staff, great food, excellent service with a smile. Close to Taree. Ordered the steak (once with chips, next night with mash) and halloumi entree; absolutely loved it. Thanks again team, will be back again soon

What an impressive restaurant. We asked for late night dining and they were very accommodating. We had the oysters steak and ribs all were excellent. The service was outstanding and Milan the manager was charming.. Well worth a stop in Taree. The ribs were the best I’ve ever had congratulations on a fantastic new start restaurant.

We were driving through Taree on Xmas Day and found this gem. We were really impressed with the service and food quality. The half lobster mornay and grilled Atlantic salmon were fresh and delicious and very reasonably priced. Will definitely go here again when passing through - highly recommended.

Travelling on my own and staying at a local motel, I booked a table due to the great reviews. I was not disappointed. Lovely fresh food, a nice selection of wines, speedy service and I was warmly welcomed by the person who took my booking. The prices are very reasonably. My only complaint - the serves are massive. Highly recommended.

The Rib Eye steak was cooked perfectly very tender the quantity of food was also very good. This was our second visit and we will be back for sure.

Huge portions. Steak was cooked perfectly for medium rare. Came with salad vege chips but the vege was literally 4 string beans. Made up for it with the decent portion of chips i guess. Vibe of places feels like an old dance hall. Could do with a clean as there were cobwebs by the windows. Staff were great, friendly service.

This was my first time at The Grill, and it was fantastic. I have certain dietary requirements and the staff were very accommodating. My dinner was a beautiful vegetarian meal, my companions had salmon and chicken meals and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Special mention for the cheesy garlic bread...it was beautiful. Do yourself a favour and visit The Grill; you won't be sorry.

Staying in Taree and this place was literally 5 minutes walk from our motel. The quality is A1 and meal sizes are ENORMOUS to say the least. Very well priced indeed. I had the duo ribs of beef and pork and the wife had the Waygu rump. Definitely no room for dessert tonight. Well done and we will be back

What a great place to celebrate a birthday. Staff were so lovely and kind and made the kids feel as welcome as the adults. They even sang happy birthday with a slice of dessert for birthday The food was amazing we will definatly continue this as our regular dinner out spot. Prices were good and fair. Hubby accidentally left his wallet and they had it kept aside for him. Highly recommend 👌

This is an unexpected but great find in Taree. Set in an old bowling club, the atmosphere is classic Australian country clubhouse. There is plenty of room for customers, with both a large bar and an even larger dining area. The staff are friendly, attentive, and professional. We visited for a Saturday lunch. The menu is reasonably extensive with plenty of options to suit all tastes across all the usual food groups. Our table ordered steak dishes, a chicken dish, and a main meal portion of garlic prawns. The food itself is uncomplicated, and the serving sizes are good. The mains came with salad and chips, although other options were available. The chicken was a touch overdone at the edges, and the prawn dish could have been a little more generous, but otherwise, everything was delicious. Desserts and coffee followed, also both good portions and well done. Total cost approx $50pp.

Everything we ordered was perfect. Some of the nicest food I've had in a long while. Three adults and 2 children. A couple of starters and and the seafood platter with whole lobster filled the adults.

Had a dinner with family today. Highly recommend anyone to try lamb skewers as starter. We ordered bunch of mid rare steaks, a pork belly, burger and a pizza. Every food had good portion and the taste was on to the point. Spirits were BYO at the moment. Overall, good place to hangout with friends and family.

Fantastic dinner at The Grill Taree. Wait staff are lovely and they accommodated our food allergies perfectly ( gluten free and a few of us needed to be dairy free ). Steaks were cooked to perfection! Serving sizes very good! Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Lobster Mornay was cooked to perfection, the lobster just melted in my mouth, the passion fruit mocktail mojito is super delicious and is all for a reasonable price, service was amazing and all round amazing place to go for a nice lunch or dinner, Would 100% reccomend for birthdays or any functions

Love, love, loved this place! Atmosphere was beautiful, loved the rustic feel, the wooden floor boards are classic. Steak was cooked to perfection. Definitely not what I expected from a small town! Very pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling through and looking for a refined and hearty meal.

Converted from the old bowling club, The Grill was a pleasant surprise. The food was of exceptional quality especially at the price point. Service was a little patchy and the large open spaces made for a bit of a noisy dining experience. Overall this would be my first choice for dinner in Taree. We ordered Ribs, Lamb Shanks and Lamb rump. The desserts are also spectacular!

My wife had the Pork Belly, & I had the Seafood Marinara. Both dishes were amazing & will be back when we come, though again 👍👍

The service was wonderful. All staff very friendly and helpful. We ordered the 500g steak which was cooked to perfection. We also ordered the full rack of pork ribs. The ribs were very tasty and the meat just fell off the bone. Will definitely return.

Fantastic experience eating at The Grill Taree. The customer service was outstanding with the waiter making pleasant conversations with us and giving us his recommendations. They were also flexible with our group size and accommodated us even though we didn't make a prior booking. The food came in massive sizes and we were very satisfied with both the taste and the portions. Overall, there are really no complaints about the restaurant. Perhaps there can be some issues with the large amount of spacing that can feel a little empty despite all the tables being occupied but that can also be seen as a positive. Regardless, I had a great time at this establishment and I'll definitely stop by if I have the chance.

Last night the five of us dropped into 'The Grill' in Taree. The meals we ordered were eye fillet, lamb shanks, eye fillet and 2 x Rib eye fillet. The size of the meals were generous and tasted amazing. However, the ambiance was underwhelming as it difficult to hear each other speak when seated and definitely lacked interior design for a family restaurant.

If you're looking for an exceptional meal at a reasonable price check out The Grill. The meat melts in your mouth and is served with sides that you won't get anywhere else as standard, like pan fried asparagus, sour cream with your baked potatoes, pear in your salad and spiced butter on your steak. These are subtle additives that set them apart from any other place in Taree and ad a new dimension to the meal. We were greeted by Milan and treated like family. I can't recommend this place enough. Thank you for giving us hope when it comes to value for money and the future of dining within our area. See you again soon.

Quite literally the best steak I've ever had and I only stole one bite off my Mum's plate. Chicken Parmi was cooked to perfection and chips were delicious. I'm passing through Taree on my way to Wollongong from Queensland, so I don't think I'll be back. This food and awesome service kind of makes me want to take the 6 hour drive just to come back.
