My go to place for a chai latte and pancakes or just fish and chips on a day off. Friendly staff and prompt service. Highly recommended as it has variety of break and much options to pick from .. 👍🏻

Most certainly the best coffee in Taree. Every time we drive up there we make sure to pay this place a visit.

Visited from Brisbane and I did some searching around the local area for a highly rated cafe in Taree with affordable prices. This café ticked all the boxes. The service was friendly and the food was outstanding. Beautiful coffee hats off to the amazing barista and delicious food thanks to chef. Wish I lived close by so I could enjoy this place every weekend. If you like big portions and cheap prices this place is great

Don’t stop at the service centre, drive into Taree and stop at Raw Sugar Cafe for a fabulous breakfast. You will realise it’s good by all of the locals eating and enjoying coffee. They were very busy yet the service was fabulous and the food came quickly. There is a great selection of hot breakfast and the lunch menu looked very enticing. This is a must stop cafe if you are heading down the A1.

Not many veg items on the menu and none vegan. Had to do the usual “leave out the feta cheese” option where you get nothing to replace it and still pay the same. That said, the bruschetta avocado toast was extremely nice, with plenty of topping. The coffee was good and they have Bonsoy ❤️ which was the reason we chose to come here.

Always great at Raw Sugar. Breakfast menu is great! Our family had salmon scrambled eggs, french toast, Pancakes and they were so accommodating in making me an egg white omelette due to diet requirements. Gluten free menu is available too. We come here regularly for lunches too and have also done business meetings here in their little back room. They are always so lovely and the food is great.

Mixed feelings about this place. Even under previous management, the place felt like a sterile box with no atmosphere. It still feels the same. But, today, we opted to buy a couple of take-away drinks. To be fair, it was reasonably busy but not crazy busy. We stood right next to the waitress at the counter while she tapped away for some time on a tablet. Clearly in her peripheral vision, she acted like we weren't there. Eventually, she asked what we wanted. She pointed to the "large" take-away cups which are, in fact, medium-sized everywhere else, and we were charged $6.00 for each. Very expensive! We then waited for 10 minutes or more. Eventually, we popped back in and asked if our order was still in the line OK. The answer was an impatient and somewhat sarcastic, "Yeeeaaah!" When the drinks came out, she was friendlier. However, for us, we've learned we get a nicer atmosphere, friendlier service, and definitely better value for money elsewhere.

Great coffee and food let down by poor wait staff member (tattooed arms). Upon arrival the staff member stood at my table while I removed my jacket- saying nothing. I asked if I could help her. She then asked if I wanted to order anything. I said good morning to her and asked for a menu. Thereafter I enjoyed my breakfast. Owners- carefully select, train and manage your staff. This will make your great business even better.

Absolutely fabulous service. Orders were taken before we even sat down. Great food and coffee. Fresh fruit juice and mango smoothies amazing. Everything so very fresh. Super friendly staff. We were a group of 8 hungry cyclists....highly recommend this cafe.

Food was quite nice however menu is quite limited, has indoor and outdoor dining. I’m not sure if this is the new style customer service but there were very few to no smiles here. Happy to take my money but wait staff don’t appear happy to provide table service. . . Mixed feelings from this cafe. . .

Experience great coffee , food and service , you'll love it and won't be disappointed

My work crew and I dropped in to Raw Sugar for a coffee yesterday. Nice spot in the middle of the Taree CBD. The service was SUPER friendly, with the guys being very helpful. We wanted some table put together and this was no bother for them. If you are in Taree I would recommend this for a coffee or something more substantial.

Amazing service, friendly staff, considerate and attentive, super quick delivery, food quality was superb. If I had to fault something, I would be lying.

Great service and gluten free breakfast - GF French toast with berry compote is delicious. Have stopped here a couple of times now when passing through and highly recommend.

We stopped over in Taree on our way to Sydney. This looked like a good place as it was very busy. My big breakfast was good . My partner's chicken burger less so because it was crumbed & the yellow cheese. The service was up too standard.

Had a Fantastic lunch,great service.My custom made Chicken,ham and pineapple sandwich was delicious. My wife had an equally nice Chicken and avocado sandwich made to order.Our Cappuccinos were awesome. Recommend to all.We'l be back for sure.

Friendly staff and the food was chefs kiss. Ordered a Moroccan chicken salad and scones and was not disappointed. Coffee was also on point. Will be back next time I’m in the area!

Excellent experience, fabulous fluffy scrambled eggs, staff lovely & atmosphere is great, lovely place to stop off the A1 for breakfast or lunch. All day breakfast menu available & it's the choice of the Locals too. Not to be missed.

Raw Sugar has never disappointed me. The best place around for a post-night shift feed. Reasonably priced. Their menu boasts a variety of options and the specials board always has something of desire. All day breakfast is a nice bonus.

Great Cafe. Food and service great. The BLT was wonderful and not too big. Fries were super crunchy. We ate there for lunch. There was a good selection of all day breakfast and lunch food. Very reasonably priced too!

I'm on a circa 4000km road trip across the Eastern seaboard of the country, I've got a few days in beautiful little Taree, arriving and looking for a place to eat, I found Raw Sugar Cafe while driving down Victoria Street. The staff got me seated and a menu in front of me the moment I walked in the door, Food came out quickly, it's very reasonably priced and the food is fantastic, also the coffee is on par with what you get in Melbourne, so hats off from this hungry and thirsty traveller. Compliments to the chef(s) and the front of house staff, you can see how hard they work in providing a top experience to their customers. Keep up the great work guys, if I find myself in Taree again I'll certainly come back - even if it is 1200km from home!
