Decent - fairly clean and surprisingly nice equipment for a random public park. One thing to note is the front gate is permanently locked/chained 24/7 with a sign that tells visitors that the park is 'not open between dusk and dawn'. You need to go to the other gate which is actually unlocked at the appropriate times.

Lovely playground for the kids to break from a long drive. Big old shady tree, well kept native plants, sand pit, BBQ, climbing logs, swings, things that spin and paths to run.

A lovely council initiative. An equal opportunity park for all children The amenities are close to a wide open easy for pram and wheelchair and scooter access park. Right on the manning river.

Great little playground next to some beautiful park area and right next to the river. Lots of shade and equipment for all ages. 4 different swings, a sandpit area and a big climbing frame. Perfect! Also very close to the shops so great for picnics, with benches, water fountain and toilets nearby.

Great park, although there is a cantankerous elderly lady with a German Shepherd she cannot control which was a bit of a downer, seems like she thinks she is the Queen of Taree

Nice park has an enclosed kids play area so if you have little ones who like to run away this park is recommended, ANZAC memorial is here and the gardens are pretty.

Lovely little park with a good variety of things to do for all ages. Lots of green space nearby as well as ample parking along the river too. Walking distance into the centre of town.

When clean it's a nice park but due to mismanagement from our council and government there is a big homelessness issue around this park so not really a kids park.

Plenty of space and very tidy. Toilets were clean and in good condition. Ideal for picnic. Play area is pretty good aswell! The fountain was not on which is a shame because it would really give a bit of life to the park.

Fotheringham Park in Taree is the premier park in the town. It is both the central "village green" as well as being the war memorial park, it also has an inclusive LIvv's Place playspace in the park. Grab a coffee and sit here looking at the Manning River flowing past.

Top notch on being well presented and fantastically maintained. Love our heros, who fought in the war. Up most respect to their courage and sacrifice.

The park here is absolutely wonderful - although it was frustrating that it was closed for so long, the results are so worthwhile - the play area feels so alive and one with nature in a way that many parks struggle to achieve. If you're coming past, this is well worth the stop over if you have young kids.

The walkways are cemented paths which makes it suitable for those with disabilities. No worry about tripping on rough surfaces. The grass is always maintained. The river view makes a great idealic walk. Great for the runners and those on push bikes.

Great park on the river with a little fully fenced children park within the main park too. It's got really nice landscaping and childrens play equipment. Toilets are clean and well maintained too.

Gorgeous overlook along the Manning River. Very nice handicap accessible kids playground with some (but not full) shade. A few towering figs. Good coffee in walking distance.

Great Park for the whole Family. Right across from the beautiful Manning River. New children's play area. Could do with more picnic tables etc. Toilets close by.
