Lovely service and amazing vegetarian options compared to every other pie shop off the highway! The cauliflower pie was unreal. Highly recommend.

The Manning Valley Pie Shop is a quaint and tiny shop that can pack some good features in their food. With two experiences in two days, it does demand continued samplings of their pastries. The Corn Beef & White Sauce had a good meat to sauce ratio and evoked childhood memories. The Satay Chicken & Vegetables could use more chicken and satay flavour, and while it was nice, it would have been more similar to a satay pie with onion and capsicum in place of the corn and potatoes. The pastry for both pies was very nice, structurally sound without being too rough or oily to eat. For the sweets. The Lamington was absolutely bloody beautiful!!!! The sponge was delicate, lovely, fresh, and light. The balance of the sponge with the chocolate and the coconut was just as it is meant to be, and it was not too sweet. The Lamington is the star of the Manning Valley Pie Shop! The Triple Chocolate Brownie was good, but more like a chunky and fudgey hedgehog slice. It was a bit too firm to bite into, was very sweet, and while it did have the flaky brownie layer on top, it was not reminiscent of a brownie. Every item in the display case looked yummy and inviting, and the shop had a constant flow of people coming and going. Would definitely eat again!

Friendly and warm service. Great range of pies and the best taste. They do family pies, vegetarian pies, cakes, sausage rolls and so much more.

We came at the worst time for a bakery... Half hour before close. But... Wow. Fantastic meat pies, best shop bought lamington, great coffees...this is country style bakery at its best. The lady serving us was very friendly and made us a cream lamington fresh on the spot... My half may have ended up a tad bigger than my wife's haha. There is a review further down by James...a rather long and funny review but having now sampled the fare... I'm inclined to agree with him lol If your heading north, I'd recommend pulling off at Taree and driving 10 minutes or so into town for this place...I know I will from now on!

Between us we had 3 different pies and they were all fantastic. Topped it off with a velvety smooth vanilla slice and felt very satisfied.

Detoured here on my long drive back from Port Mac to Sydney (4 hours!). It was worth it. Kim was sooo friendly and shiny and lit up my morning with her banter and smile! The flat white with almond milk Kim made me was fab and the spinach and cheese roll that I gobbled down in 5 seconds was perfectly flaky and had the right balance of sharp cheese and herbaceous spinach. I did burn my mouth slightly as I am a greedy gal but still adorable 😊 The sweetie lovelies I also purchased will be taken to a dinner party this eve (along with some other goodies). I'm positive they will be an uberhit. Yummm...

Their pies are always delicious and you also have the bonus of great friendly service! Today we made a bulk order for our team at work, a colleague picked them up and brought them back to office and then realised one was missing. I jumped on the phone to Kim at MV pies to give a heads up and go to collect it but she had already sent one of her workers down to personally deliver it and was very apologetic! Such service was above and beyond, thank you!

Had a vanilla slice as well as the cruffin. Good custard in each item, great taste and would go out of my way to go here again. Value for money as well as a diverse range of pies, amazing.

Great pie. Perfectly balanced pastry, gravey and meat ratio. Pie temp out of the oven bang on for crushing on the spot, the true test of greatness. Staff are lovely. 5 stars.

We love our pies especially our curry pies, lovely, a full pie. When you buy a pie you expect value for money, you get it here, love my pies.

Best Cakes and PIES . Infact their Portugese Custard Tarts are THE BEST IVE EVER EATEN. If you want to impress someone go there.

Walk in to a beautiful atmosphere. Big smiling faces and very welcoming. Interacted with the customer with a fantastic customer service. Price was very reasonable and all the food we purchased was outstanding with a omg this pie is delicious. In store joke on what we would purchase gave us a laugh and made us feel important, definitely worth another visit and totally recommend this fantastic establishment. All staff are beautiful.

Best pies, great cakes, what more could you want? You can even get frozen pies to heat up when you can't get back to buy a hot fresh one. Friendly staff who really are passionate about their produce.

Great Pies, deep and full of meat, great tasting...not sloppy, but one's you can hold in your hand. You would have to put their pies in the top 5% of Australian pie shops. Lovely deserts too, especially their Cheesecakes. Check them out on Facebook for hours.

Stopped at a secondhand shop next door, I noticed how busy the pie shop is so I went in and bought a couple ov pies. I'm glad I did great pies, next time I'm in Taree I will definitely be back.
