We're regulars at The Coast. Food is exceptional, every single time. Genuinely fantastic Italian food. Really friendly and helpful staff too. Sunday roasts might just be the best around. Only annoyance is the forced addition of a tip on the bill. It's up to me what I want to tip, not you.

AMAZING food and service, can’t recommend highly enough

Gorgeous place, great host, amazing food, superb ambience. Had a lovely meal here last night to celebrate our 37th wedding anniversary. Everything was spot on, starters (carpaccio & meatballs), mains (lobster ravioli and spaghetti carbonara- best Ive ever had!) As for the dessert ( creme brulee) ...to die for. Followed by coffee and fine cognac. Big thank you to Wayne, who was lovely, so nice and friendly ... we will definitely be back soon xx

3 x lobster ravioli and a prawn pasta, absolutely loved by all. Nice wine and great coffee too. Service always just spot on.

Thought the Seafood Linguine was overpriced as a small amount of seafood in the dish. However the staff were lovely, attentive and friendly. The Restaurant itself beautifully appointed and tables nicely dressed. Perhaps I just picked the wrong thing to order. Lots of people on the table were very happy with their choices.

First time in here and generally pleased. Atmosphere good but mid week so very quiet. Service excellent. Food OK. We all had a different pasta dish as it advertises as an Italian restaurant. None of them were particularly spectacular but we do intend to give it another go and try something that isn't pasta based. Couple of niggles. Print on menu very small so in the dimmed lighting it was difficult to read. Maybe younger folks don't have that problem 🙂 10% service charge added to bill. I hate this as though it is "optional" you have to be hard faced to ask for it to be removed and this can cause embarrassment if you are out with friends. Would have been quite happy to leave a tip but not in this way. If restaurant needs to do this why not be upfront, add 10% to the prices and pay staff a higher wage.

The Coast is a stunning restaurant in a beautiful area. The service was amazing, we went in a large group of over 20 and were well looked after, everyone got the right meals, didn't have to chase to get a drink. I cannot praise the staff highly enough as the were extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was absolutely fantastic, I had calamari to start which was cooked perfectly with a light tempora batter, followed by king prawn spaghetti, then tiramisu. I honestly cannot fault a single course as each was as tasty and delicious as the last. All I can say is thank you to the staff and the chefs who made it a really enjoyable evening.

Food here is amazing and the staff are always polite. Only slight issue is no parking so you may need to hunt for a space nearby first, other than that this place is highly recommended 🌟

We had lunch with fiends here recently and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was superb, service was excellent and there was a great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Sunday lunchtime. They served a Sunday roast which is unusual in an Italian restaurant. It was fine. I had the sea bass with bravas potato's. ( Sorry the app won't let me spell the dish correctly ) The bass was excellent but the side dish rather unsubstantial and only just warm.

Dinner on Sunday evening - menu was varied and competitively priced with GF options available. Staff were attentive knowledgeable and friendly and the service was excellent despite the restaurant being busy. Really enjoyable evening - we're looking forward to visiting again with family who live locally.

Decent Italian food served promptly with a smile. Good atmosphere too. Minor gripe....artisan bread selection was very dull...too many thin slices of white baguette!!! Would recommend a visit.

This was our first visit and will definitely be returning, excellent food and value for money. Purchased via a Groupon voucher. The lamb and sauce was amazing, the best I've had in a restaurant for a long time.

Visited The Coast Tarporley this evening after only booking this morning and travelling over half an hour and it was not disappointing. In fact, quite the opposite a great atmosphere with attentive staff, especially our waitress for the evening Jum. Stylish surroundings with great drinks and as a former chef I find it hard to beat a restaurant like this based on its refined and clearly tested menu. Attention to detail and the simplicity of the ingredients but great subtleties to the lobster ravioli filling, the fantastic bouillabaisse, the brittle sugar topping on the lemon tart was a treat and the chocolate filled macaroon with the coffee. Keep up the great work your a credit to the industry. We will be visiting again every soon.

All our dishes were great. Starters were Duck parfait and the other half had baked camembert. Main meals of steak & chips and sea bass. Good service. Nice atmosphere too.

We had a lovely meal and experience at The Coast. The food was delicious and the service very good. Drinks were fab too. The thing we were most impressed with was the staff, we struggled to get there due to taxi issues and the weather and the staff put us on a nicer table and also made sure they booked us a taxi home. They rescued our evening. Would absolutely recommend!

I was really impressed with The Coast. We went with a 4 year old, and the staff were super friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. For once, ordering a child's pizza didn't give a circular lump of dough with some toppings, it was proper, tasty pizza (my daughter loved it). Price is expensive, but also I'd say not as expensive as we thought it might be given the ambiance and location. Would save up and come again!

Staff were brilliant and super friendly. We didn't get our olives (ordered as a starter alongside brucetta) but the mains were surprisingly filling and tasty. We would have preferred a table where we could have sat next to each other, rather than opposite, and I was asked to move my chair back to its original position when I tried!
