Pretty good. About 5 minutes off of I35, it's a pretty small building. I got the Jambo Texan sandwich which is basically a sampler of all their meats. The ribs, brisket and pulled pork were all OK, the bologna and sausage were good. The burnt ends were tasty. The BBQ sauces were a little sweet for my taste. Worth a stop if your near by, I don't think it's worth going out of the way for tho.

I had the Sadie and the hubs had the big ol sandwich with all the meats. Our order came out in less than 5 mins from the time we ordered. Staff was friendly. The food was on point. Good flavor, taste the smoke on the meat. Budget friendly.

Humongous spilling over the sides meaty tender and super tasty brisket potato!!!! I can't remember a better one I've ever had! It could feed 2 normal people, and stuffed me full as a tick! I had the Sadie baked potato, burnt ends, and tried a bacon wrapped jalapeno. The burnt ends were too tender, I like mine more crispy. I would skip the bacon jalapeno, but that potato was fabulous! I came because of the photos and it was spot on!! Bonus was it tasted as good as it looked! I would definitely return and try the huge sandwich next! The cashier was super friendly and also said the Arlington location is not affiliated with this location, and this location was much preferred by their customers. The simple decor shows off the award winning BBQ and leaves no doubts to their expertise. Well done!

People were so nice, the brisket was dry, flavor was average. Burnt ends were very good.

Jambos has been my favorite Friday place for many years. The barbecue is excellent but I can’t stay away from the “only on Friday’s” pork chop. Another great choice is the Sadie. It is a potato filled with all the good things you love about barbecue. I hesitate to mention the salmon because it’s only available twice a year. If you get the opportunity to try the smoked salmon, get ready to go into food ecstasy. I’m grateful to have eaten in some truly wonderful restaurants in my life. These folks are a step above because they treat their customers like family. They call you by name, tease like a sibling and cook wonderful food. Recently, they went above and beyond for a family in our community. They already had my devotion but that act of kindness took it up a notch. If you haven’t tried them, do. Don’t wait too long. They close when the barbecue runs out.

This place is amazing. The food is all very well crafted and it is truly the best BBQ I’ve had. It is not a place you want to miss. The owners are the sweetest folks you’ll ever meet and they go out of their way to make all of their customers feel special. 11 out of 10!

We decided to try Jambo’s for our party of 40 and we are so thankful that we did. We order brisket, turkey and sausage, potato salad, green beans(OMG) and Mac snd cheese. Every person at our party raved about every item especially the brisket, turkey and green beans. The meats were moist and delicious and the sides were fantastic. This will definitely be our go to bbq joint going forward.

I’ll always order sliced brisket at a new bbq joint and early today I happened to get it on a sandwich to eat on the road. It was so tasty part of me didn’t want to finish it, and the burnt ends I made sure to save until we made it to work. There is a great atmosphere inside too, with friendly staff and plenty of awards along the walls to look at.

The meat was good but the sides were an opportunity. They do have a small dining room but the people are very kind.

Visited today, meal was exceptionally filling, one full order fed both my fiance and myself. The food tastes amazing, definitely fresh and hand made. Couldn't ask for better service, keep up the great work yall!

Really good BBQ in Rendon. This was my 1st visit here and was impressed. The staff is so friendly and service was quick. The sliced brisket was cooked perfectly and had a good smoke ring. The ribs pull off the bone just right and meaty. The baked beans is a meal by itself. They are just full of flavor. We got the 1 meat plate and lots of meat. The bbq sauce was a little too thick for me but that's me. You may have to look for a parking space but worth it. BBQ has got expensive just like anything else but cheaper than other places around.

Staff was friendly but the food was little off. I usually visit the location in Arlington and really enjoy the food, but today, I was afraid of getting sick. The sausage looked a little off putting but I tried it anyway and I’m praying my family doesn’t get sick. I didn’t take my chance with mac and cheese because it smelled fine but it had a sour taste which I immediately spat out and told my husband and children not to eat it. The only part of my meal I felt okay with eating was the sliced brisket which was PHENOMENAL and the ribs. I ordered (3)three meat(sliced brisket, chicken (gross), ribs, chopped brisket, and jalapeño sausage) plates all which came with two sides. We had Mac and cheese, cowboy corn, baked beans (also really delicious), and potato salad for sides. $61 total plus tip was $70 for a very mediocre meal.

I am always thinking about what my favorite BBQ in DFW is and Jambo's Original is near the top of my thoughts. Some BBQ places can do a smoke & mirror act by serving Prime grade brisket which will almost always taste great even with an amateur pitmaster smoking it. At Jambo's Original I am sure the brisket is not higher than Choice grade and it is absolutely amazing. The seasoning and smoke level are perfect. The brisket is moist and falls apart easy. If an amazing brisket isn't enough, their pork ribs are absolutely perfect. They have a sweet flavor and they are tender. They don't "fall-off" the bone but they easily pull off the bone. They are also beautiful to look at. The sides are very good and the service was great. If there is a definition of a true off the beaten path Texas BBQ I do believe it is Original Jambo's in Rendon.
