15年ぶりに訪問しました。 スタッフの方々の対応はとても丁寧で安心感があります。 お庭を通り、靴を脱いでじゅうたんが敷かれた店内を進みます。お店は大きくてとても広いです。 ランチだったので、長良川沿いの個室からの景色も楽しめました！ しぐれ煮やローストビーフ、スープと、どれもおいしい。 目の前で焼いてもらうステーキは、柔らかくて口のなかで溶けてあっという間になくなります。普段は塩が好きですが、タレに大根おろし入れたものに付けてもさっぱり頂けました。 カリカリのスライスガーリックも、食べすぎると臭いが…と思いつつ、おいしいくてついつい食べてしまいました。 焼き野菜も、野菜自体が甘くておいしいので、ほとんど味付けなしで十分でした。 デザートはメロンでしたが、大きくてビックリ！ お肉を食べたあとなのでサッパリしてちょうどいいです。 たっぷり頂けて大満足でした。 感染対策にも気を使われています。 最初に、体調確認のチェックシートの記入をお願いされました。 高級なので滅多に来れませんが、素敵なロケーションでゆっくりおいしいお肉が頂けてとても素敵な時間でした。

My Japanese wife and I were taken here as a Wedding gift in 1987. It was the most fabulous eating experience of our young lives. The food, the service and the hospitality were above and beyond expectation. In the subsequent years we have hosted special occasions with her Gifu based family and were always treated with friendliness, respect and appreciation for our continued patronage. Today we were heartbroken. We hosted a family reunion and my wife and I were severely disappointed. Gone was the friendliness and welcoming spirit that we thought to be a staple of Senryu’s service. Gone was the hospitality. Gone was the banter and interest in us, their guests. The food itself was delicious as always, but for the price you expect delicious food. Gone was the ambience, the hospitality and the friendliness. My wife and I will no longer patronize Senryu and we are sorry that this once exceptional restaurant is now no longer worth the visit.

休日の18時半ぐらいに伺いました。店内は飲食店というより、旅館やホテルの中といった感じで風情と懐かしさを感じます。 ロースステーキコースを注文 前菜に牛のしぐれ煮。スープはじゃがいもの冷製スープ。次に目の前で焼くお肉が登場。火入れをしている間に、サラダが来ました。ステーキは焼き加減が自分で選べるので、ミディアムをお願いしました。お肉に合わせるのは、からし、醤油、岩塩、大根おろしです。 まずは岩塩でいただきましたが、お肉がとても柔らかく、焼き加減も完璧で、岩塩がお肉の旨味をより引き出してくれます。醤油はお肉の持つ脂の部分をより際立たせる役割で、ご飯が欲しくなるやつ。大根おろしは逆に、とても上質で、くどくない脂にしてくれて、これも味変としてはとても美味しかったです。 その後に焼き野菜が、椎茸、玉ねぎ、山芋、あおさの麩と続きましたが、これらにそこまでの感動はなかったです。 ご飯はライス+漬物かガーリックライスを選べます。 ガーリックライスを選びましたが、これがとても絶品でした。 梅と大葉がとてもにんにくに合い、どれだけでも食べられるぐらい美味しかったです。 デザートが抹茶のアイスでしたが、これは普通です。 ステーキとガーリックライスはとても満足しましたが、前菜、スープ、サラダに関しては割とがっかりしました。 このお店は、美味しいお肉を最高の焼き加減と味付けで食べる目的で行くのが良いと思います。 駐車場はかなり広いですが、かなり僻地にあるので、ナビをよく見て行きましょう。

一言で言い表すと「圧倒的」という表現がピッタリかも… 時間厳守と聞かされていたので、約束の時間の３分前に店の玄関の扉を開けると、ナント数名のお店の方が「正座・三指」でお出迎え!!! 想定していなかったお出迎えに正直動揺してしまった… 担当の方にお部屋まで案内して頂き、スタート。 美しい長良川の景色を眺めながらアイボーンステーキコースを楽しませて頂きました。 お料理が素晴らしかったのは言う迄もなく、お店の方の所作・話し方等も素晴らしく、心地よい２時間の時を過ごさせて頂きました。 これまで年に１度、記念日に高山市まで飛騨牛を堪能しに一泊二日で小旅行がてら足を運んでいましたが、これからは潜龍さんに鞍替えしようと妻と意見が合いました。 また、記念日のお祝いに、お土産まで頂いて更にビックリ!!! デザートの1/4玉のメロン…は圧巻でした(笑)。

First time here and the people were great and entertaining and the food was beyond amazing. The meat cooked to perfection! Every course was equally delicious! With the river side view we also got to witness the traditional fishing boats which made it that much better! Looking forward to coming back!
