Beautiful remote mountain location with spectacular views of the Yoro plains. Impeccable service and delicious food.

The place has a very nice atmosphere, the staff is incredibly nice and they also have the public bath (onsen) with both the inside and outside area. The water in the outside bath was so hot that it was hard to stay there more than a very short moment. Some rooms have private outdoor bath with beautiful view on Nagoya and surrounding nature. Nearby, there's also a really beautiful waterfall which I highly recommend seeing. Overall, the place was really amazing and I can highly recommend it.

The most wonderful experience while traveling in Japan! Beautiful vistas, all the privacy you could dream of, friendly staff and amazing traditional food!! Also they pick you up from yoro train station with a shuttle which is very very comfortable. There is a beautiful waterfall pretty much in the back yard and the most amazing view (Forrest or city)

One of my personal favorites ryokans, big room, rotemburo on the room with an incredible view to the city, delicious food, kind staff, private and there is a fabulous waterfall next to it. Is just a amazing

Wonderful ryokan in the middle of the forest and with a wonderful view on Nagoya’s light. Food was delicious and the staff extremely nice and helpful

Almost great except。。。 1. Crazy slow internet most of the time，are we back to the 90's again。。。? 2. Very old Washlet with no instant hot water，last time we see these were in those sub ￥10000/night old business hotels。。。 3. Public onsen need to be renovate as soon as possible。Yes, most rooms in this high end hotel do have in room onsen, but the public one still need to be in reasonable standard. Corrosion is eating the metal, and fixture cannot be loose。。。

My parents and I absolutely LOVE this hotel/ryokan! Although the locations is quite remote but you can't beat the hospitality from the hotel attendants and the delicaies. The food was insanely beautiful and delicious!

Lovely view on the top of the hill overlooking the rustic town of Yara. This is s traditional Japanese hot spring hotel.
